출애굽기 28:1-28:43

 하나님께서는 특별히 아론과 그 아들들을 택하셔서 성막에서 봉사할 제사장 가문으로 성별하셨다. 그 후 대제사장이 입어야 할 거룩한 옷의 식양을 상세히 계시해 주셨는데, 대략 에봇, 흉패, 우림과 둠밈, 에봇 받침 겉옷, 반포 속옷, 금패, 관, 그리고 베로 된 고의 등이 그것이었다.
  
  제사장의 의복(28:1-28:43)    
 
  1. 너는 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 너의 형 아론과 그의 아들들, 곧 나답, 아비후, 엘르아잘, 이다말을 불러내어 나를 섬길 사제로 삼아라.
  2. 아론이 입을 거룩한 옷을 영광스럽고도 아름답게 지어라.
  3. 내가 슬기로운 생각으로 가득 채운 재간 있는 사람들을 모두 불러다가 사제로서 나를 섬길 성직자 아론의 옷을 지으라고 하여라.
  4. 그들을 시켜 지을 옷은 가슴받이, 에봇, 도포, 자수 속옷, 사모, 제복 띠 등이다. 그들로 하여금 이렇게 너의 형 아론과 그의 아들들이 입을 거룩한 옷을 지어, 나를 섬길 사제 일을 맡게 하여라.
  5. 금실과 자줏빛 털실과 붉은빛 털실과 진홍빛 털실과 고운 모시실로 짠 천으로 만들어야 한다.
  1. "Then bring near to yourself Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to minister as priest to Me--Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
  2. "You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
  3. "You shall speak to all the skillful persons whom I have endowed with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister as priest to Me.
  4. "These are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece and an ephod and a robe and a tunic of checkered work, a turban and a sash, and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister as priest to Me.
  5. "They shall take the gold and the blue and the purple and the scarlet material and the fine linen.
  1. 에봇은 금실과 자줏빛 털실, 붉은빛 털실, 진홍빛 털실, 가늘게 꼰 모시실로 무늬를 놓아가며 짠 감으로 지어야 한다.
  2. 에봇에 멜빵을 두 개 만들어 붙이는데 그 양쪽 끝에 달아라.
  3. 에봇을 잡아맬 관대는 한 솜씨로 에봇과 같은 감인 금실과 자줏빛 털실과 붉은빛 털실, 진홍빛 털실, 가늘게 꼰 모시실로 짠 천으로 만들어 에봇에다 한데 붙여라.
  4. 너는 홍옥수 두 개를 구해서 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 새겨라.
  5. 나이 순에 따라 여섯 이름을 한 보석에 새기고 나머지 여섯 이름은 다른 보석에 새겨라.
  1. "They shall also make the ephod of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of the skillful workman.
  2. "It shall have two shoulder pieces joined to its two ends, that it may be joined.
  3. "The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its workmanship, of the same material: of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen.
  4. "You shall take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel,
  5. six of their names on the one stone and the names of the remaining six on the other stone, according to their birth.
  1. 보석공이 인장반지 새기듯이 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 그 보석에 새겨라. 그리고 금테에 그 보석들을 박아라.
  2. 이 보석 두 개를 에봇의 양 멜빵에 달아, 이스라엘 백성을 상징하는 보석으로 삼아라. 아론이 이렇게 어깨에 그들의 이름을 달고 나서면 야훼께서 이것을 보시고 이스라엘을 기억하실 것이다.
  3. 또 금으로 고리들을 만들고
  4. 순금사슬을 줄 꼬듯이 꼬아 두 줄을 만들어 그 고리에 달아놓아라.
  5. 에봇을 만드는 솜씨로, 시비를 가리는 가슴받이를 짜서 만들어라. 금실과 자줏빛 털실, 붉은 털실, 진홍 털실, 가는 모시실로 무늬를 놓아가며 짜서 만든다.
  1. "As a jeweler engraves a signet, you shall engrave the two stones according to the names of the sons of Israel; you shall set them in filigree settings of gold.
  2. "You shall put the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as stones of memorial for the sons of Israel, and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders for a memorial.
  3. "You shall make filigree settings of gold,
  4. and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them of twisted cordage work, and you shall put the corded chains on the filigree settings.
  5. "You shall make a breastpiece of judgment, the work of a skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it: of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen you shall make it.
  1. 이것은 두 겹으로 네모나게 만드는데, 길이도 한 뼘, 나비도 한 뼘이 되게 하고
  2. 거기에 보석을 네 줄로 박아라. 첫째 줄에는 홍옥수와 황옥과 취옥을 박고
  3. 둘째 줄에는 홍옥과 청옥과 백수정을 박아라.
  4. 셋째 줄에는 풍신자석과 마노와 자수정을 박고
  5. 넷째 줄에는 감람석과 얼룩 마노와 벽옥을 박되 각각 금테에 박아라.
  1. "It shall be square and folded double, a span in length and a span in width.
  2. "You shall mount on it four rows of stones; the first row shall be a row of ruby, topaz and emerald;
  3. and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire and a diamond;
  4. and the third row a jacinth, an agate and an amethyst;
  5. and the fourth row a beryl and an onyx and a jasper; they shall be set in gold filigree.
  1. 이스라엘의 아들이 열둘이니 이 보석들도 그 이름 수대로 하고, 보석 하나 하나에 열두 지파의 이름을 인장반지를 새기듯이 새겨넣어라.
  2. 가슴받이를 매어달 사슬들은 순금줄로 꼬아 만들고
  3. 금고리 두 개를 만들어 가슴받이 양쪽 끝에 달아라.
  4. 가슴받이 양쪽에 단 두 고리에 금줄 두 개를 걸어 매어라.
  5. 이 두 금줄의 다른 쪽 두 끝은 두 고리에 걸어 매달아 에봇 멜빵 앞쪽으로 늘어지게 하여라.
  1. "The stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve, according to their names; they shall be like the engravings of a seal, each according to his name for the twelve tribes.
  2. "You shall make on the breastpiece chains of twisted cordage work in pure gold.
  3. "You shall make on the breastpiece two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastpiece.
  4. "You shall put the two cords of gold on the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.
  5. "You shall put the other two ends of the two cords on the two filigree settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, at the front of it.
  1. 그리고 금고리 두 개를 에봇과 겹쳐지게 만들어 가슴받이 양쪽 안깃에 달아라.
  2. 금고리 두 개를 또 만들어 에봇 양쪽 멜빵 앞자락 가장자리에 가까운 에봇 관대 조금 위에 달아라.
  3. 그리고 자줏빛 털실로 꼰 줄을 가슴받이의 고리와 에봇의 고리에 꿰고는 가슴받이를 에봇 관대 조금 위에 잡아매어 가슴받이가 에봇에서 떨어지지 않게 하여라.
  4. 아론이 성소에 들어갈 때, 시비를 가리는 가슴받이에 붙인 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 가슴에 달고 들어가게 하여라. 그리하면 야훼께서 이것을 보시고 이스라엘을 기억하실 것이다.
  5. 시비를 가리는 이 가슴받이 속에는 우림과 둠밈을 넣어두어라. 아론이 야훼 앞에 들어갈 때 이것을 가슴에 붙이고 들어가게 하여라. 아론은 야훼 앞에서 이스라엘 백성의 시비를 가릴 때 언제나 이것을 가슴에 붙이고 있어야 한다.
  1. "You shall make two rings of gold and shall place them on the two ends of the breastpiece, on the edge of it, which is toward the inner side of the ephod.
  2. "You shall make two rings of gold and put them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it close to the place where it is joined, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
  3. "They shall bind the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it will be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece will not come loose from the ephod.
  4. "Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment over his heart when he enters the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
  5. "You shall put in the breastpiece of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before the LORD; and Aaron shall carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.
  1. 에봇에 딸린 도포는 자줏빛 옷감으로 하여라.
  2. 그 한가운데 머리를 넣을 구멍을 뚫고, 그 구멍 가장자리를 돌아가며 갑옷의 깃을 박듯이 박아서 찢어지지 않게 하여라.
  3. 또 너는 자줏빛 털실과 붉은 털실, 진홍 털실, 가는 모시실을 엮어 석류 모양으로 술을 만들어 도포자락에 돌아가며 달고 금방울을 만들어 석류 술 사이사이에 달아라.
  4. 금방울 하나, 석류 하나, 또 금방울 하나, 석류 하나, 이렇게 도포자락에 돌아가며 달아라.
  5. 아론이 예배 드릴 때 이 옷을 입게 하여라. 아론이 야훼 앞으로 성소에 들어갈 때나, 거기에서 물러나올 때 방울 소리가 나면 그는 죽지 아니하리라.
  1. "You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
  2. "There shall be an opening at its top in the middle of it; around its opening there shall be a binding of woven work, like the opening of a coat of mail, so that it will not be torn.
  3. "You shall make on its hem pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material, all around on its hem, and bells of gold between them all around:
  4. a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, all around on the hem of the robe.
  5. "It shall be on Aaron when he ministers; and its tinkling shall be heard when he enters and leaves the holy place before the LORD, so that he will not die.
  1. 또 너는 순금으로 패를 만들고, 그 위에 인장을 새기듯이 '야훼께 몸바친 성직자'라고 새겨라.
  2. 이것을 자줏빛 털실로 꼰 줄에 매어 사모에 붙이되, 사모 앞쪽에 가도록 하여라.
  3. 그 패를 아론의 이마에 붙여라. 그래서 이스라엘 백성이 거룩한 예물을 봉헌할 때 그 거룩한 봉헌물을 잘못 드려 죄를 지으면 그 책임을 아론이 지게 하여라. 아론은 그것을 이마에 늘 붙이고 있어야 한다. 그러면 그들이 바치는 것을 야훼께서 기꺼이 받아주실 것이다.
  4. 또 너는 고운 모시실로 속옷을 지어라. 모시로 사모를 만들고 수를 놓아가며 제복 띠를 만들어라.
  5. 너는 아론의 아들들이 입을 속옷을 만들어라. 그들이 띨 띠도 만들고, 그들이 쓸 두건도 만들어 영광스럽고도 아름답게 차려 입도록 하여라.
  1. "You shall also make a plate of pure gold and shall engrave on it, like the engravings of a seal, 'Holy to the LORD.'
  2. "You shall fasten it on a blue cord, and it shall be on the turban; it shall be at the front of the turban.
  3. "It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall take away the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel consecrate, with regard to all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
  4. "You shall weave the tunic of checkered work of fine linen, and shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of a weaver.
  5. "For Aaron's sons you shall make tunics; you shall also make sashes for them, and you shall make caps for them, for glory and for beauty.
  1. 너의 형 아론과 그의 아들들에게 나의 사제가 되도록 그 옷을 입히고 기름을 발라 일을 맡겨서 나의 성직자로 가려 세워라.
  2. 또 그들의 맨살이 가려지도록 허리에서 두 넓적다리까지 닿는 모시 잠방이를 만들어라.
  3. 아론과 그의 아들들은 만남의 장막으로 들어갈 때나 성소에서 예배를 드리며 제단으로 나아갈 때 이 옷을 입어야 한다. 그래야 죄를 지어 죽는 일을 면할 것이다. 이것이 아론과 그 후손이 영원히 지킬 규정이다.
  1. "You shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him; and you shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, that they may serve Me as priests.
  2. "You shall make for them linen breeches to cover their bare flesh; they shall reach from the loins even to the thighs.
  3. "They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur guilt and die It shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.
