¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀº ÀÌ»èÀÇ ¾Æ³»¸¦ ±¸Çϱâ À§ÇØ ±×ÀÇ °íÇâ Ç϶õÀ¸·Î Á¾À» º¸³Â´Ù. Á¾Àº Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀεµÇϽÉÀ» ¹Þ¾Æ ¸®ºê°¡¸¦ ÀÌ»èÀÇ ¾Æ³»·Î ÅÃÇÏ¿© µ¹¾Æ¿Ô´Ù. ÀÌ»èÀº ¸®ºê°¡¸¦ ¾Æ³»·Î ¸ÂÀÌÇÏ¿´´Ù.

  2. ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀº Áý¾È ÀÏÀ» µµ¸Ã¾Æ º¸´Â ´ÄÀº ½Éº¹¿¡°Ô ºÐºÎÇÏ¿´´Ù. "³Ê´Â ³» »çŸ±¸´Ï¿¡ ¼ÕÀ» ³Ö°í

  5. Á¾ÀÌ ¹°¾ú´Ù. "½ÅºÎ µÉ »ç¶÷ÀÌ Àú¸¦ µû¶ó À̸®·Î ¿À·Á°í ÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é, ¾Æµå´ÔÀ» ÁÖÀδÔÀÇ ¿¾ °íÇâÀ¸·Î µ¥·Á°¡µµ µË´Ï±î?"
  1. Now Abraham was old, advanced in age; and the LORD had blessed Abraham in every way.
  2. Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had charge of all that he owned, "Please place your hand under my thigh,
  3. and I will make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live,
  4. but you will go to my country and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac."
  5. The servant said to him, "Suppose the woman is not willing to follow me to this land; should I take your son back to the land from where you came?"

  3. ½Åº×°¨ÀÌ ³Ê¸¦ µû¶ó¿À·Á°í ÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é, ³Ê´Â ³ª¿¡°Ô ÇÑ ¸Í¼¼¿¡¼­ Ç®¸®°Ô µÈ´Ù. ´Ù¸¸ ³» ¾ÆµéÀ» ±×¸®·Î µ¥·Á°¡Áö¸¸Àº ¸»¾Æ¶ó."
  4. ±× Á¾Àº ÁÖÀÎ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ »çŸ±¸´Ï¿¡ ¼ÕÀ» ³Ö°í ½ÃÅ°´Â ´ë·Î ÇÏ°Ú´Ù°í ¸Í¼¼ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  5. ±× Á¾Àº ÁÖÀÎÀÌ º¸³»´Â ¿Â°® ±ÍÇÑ ¼±¹°À» ³«Å¸ ¿­ ¸¶¸®¿¡ ½Æ°í ±æÀ» ¶°³ª ¾Æ¶÷ ³ªÇ϶óÀÓ¿¡ À̸£·¯ ³ªÈ¦ÀÇ ¼ºÀ» ã¾Æ°¬´Ù.
  1. Then Abraham said to him, "Beware that you do not take my son back there!
  2. "The LORD, the God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me and who swore to me, saying, 'To your descendants I will give this land,' He will send His angel before you, and you will take a wife for my son from there.
  3. "But if the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will be free from this my oath; only do not take my son back there."
  4. So the servant placed his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.
  5. Then the servant took ten camels from the camels of his master, and set out with a variety of good things of his master's in his hand; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.

  2. ±× Á¾Àº ÀÌ·¸°Ô ±âµµÇÏ¿´´Ù. "Á¦ ÁÖÀÎ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ ÇÏ´À´Ô ¾ßÈÑ¿©! ¿À´Ã ÀÏÀÌ ¸ðµÎ ¶æ´ë·Î ÀßµÇ°Ô ÇØÁֽʽÿÀ. ÇÏ´À´ÔÀÇ ½Éº¹ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔ¿¡°Ô ½ÅÀǸ¦ ÁöÄÑÁֽʽÿÀ.
  3. Àú´Â Áö±Ý ÀÌ »ùÅÍ¿¡ ¼­ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. Àú ¼º¿¡ »ç´Â ¿©ÀÚµéÀÌ ¹°À» ±æÀ¸·¯ ³ª¿À¸é
  4. Àú´Â ±×µé¿¡°Ô Ç׾Ƹ®¸¦ ³»·Á ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØ´Þ¶ó°í ÇÏ°Ú½À´Ï´Ù. ±×µé °¡¿îµ¥¼­ Àú¿¡°Ô ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØÁÙ »Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó, Á¦ ³«Å¸¿¡°Ôµµ ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØÁÖ°Ú´Ù°í ³ª¼­´Â ¾Æ°¡¾¾°¡ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ±×°¡ ¹Ù·Î ÇÏ´À´ÔÀÇ ½Éº¹ ÀÌ»ç¾ÇÀÇ ¾Æ³»°¨À¸·Î Á¤ÇØ ÁֽŠ¿©ÀÚ¶ó°í ¾Ë°Ú½À´Ï´Ù. À̷νá ÇÏ´À´Ô²²¼­ Á¦ ÁÖÀο¡°Ô ½ÅÀǸ¦ ÁöÅ°½Ã´Â ÁÙ Á¦°¡ ¾Ë°Ú½À´Ï´Ù."
  5. ÀÌ ¸»ÀÌ Ã¤ ³¡³ª±âµµ Àü¿¡ ¸®ºê°¡°¡ ¾î±ú¿¡ Ç׾Ƹ®¸¦ ¸Þ°í ³ª¿Ô´Ù. ¸®ºê°¡´Â ¹Ð°¡ÀÇ ¾Æµé ºêµÎ¿¤ÀÇ µþÀ̾ú´Ù. ±×·±µ¥ ¹Ð°¡·Î ¸»ÇÏ¸é ³ªÈ¦ÀÇ ¾Æ³»À̹ǷΠ¾Æºê¶óÇÔ¿¡°Ô´Â Á¦¼ö»¹À̾ú´Ù.
  1. He made the camels kneel down outside the city by the well of water at evening time, the time when women go out to draw water.
  2. He said, "O LORD, the God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today, and show lovingkindness to my master Abraham.
  3. "Behold, I am standing by the spring, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water;
  4. now may it be that the girl to whom I say, 'Please let down your jar so that I may drink,' and who answers, 'Drink, and I will water your camels also'--may she be the one whom You have appointed for Your servant Isaac; and by this I will know that You have shown lovingkindness to my master."
  5. Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Abraham's brother Nahor, came out with her jar on her shoulder.
  1. ±× ¾Æ°¡¾¾´Â ¾ÆÁ÷ ³²ÀÚ¸¦ ¸ð¸£´Â ¾ÆÁÖ ¿¹»Û ó³à¿´´Ù. ±×°¡ »ùÅÍ¿¡ ³»·Á¿Í¼­ Ç׾Ƹ®¿¡ ¹°À» ä¿ö°¡Áö°í ¿Ã¶ó¿À´Âµ¥
  2. ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ ¶Ù¾î³ª°¡ ±×¸¦ ¹Ý±â¸ç Ç׾Ƹ®ÀÇ ¹°À» Á» ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØ´Þ¶ó°í ûÇß´Ù.
  3. ¸®ºê°¡´Â "ÇҾƹöÁö, ¾î¼­ ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã½Ê½Ã¿À." Çϸç Ç׾Ƹ®¸¦ ³»·Á ¼Õ¿¡ ¹ÞÃĵé°í ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØÁÖ¾ú´Ù.
  4. ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã°Ô ÇØÁÖ°í ³ª¼­ ³«Å¸µé¿¡°Ôµµ ½ÇÄÆ ¸¶½Ã°Ô ¹°À» ±æ¾îÁÖ°Ú´Ù°í ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  5. ±×¸®°í º´¿¡ ³²¾Æ ÀÖ´Â ¹°À» ¾ó¸¥ ±¸À¯¿¡ º×°í´Â ¹°À» ±æÀ¸·¯ »ùÅÍ·Î ´Þ·Á°¡¼­ ³«Å¸µéµµ ¸ðµÎ ¸¶½Ã°Ô ¹°À» ±æ¾î´Ù ÁÖ¾ú´Ù.
  1. The girl was very beautiful, a virgin, and no man had had relations with her; and she went down to the spring and filled her jar and came up.
  2. Then the servant ran to meet her, and said, "Please let me drink a little water from your jar."
  3. She said, "Drink, my lord"; and she quickly lowered her jar to her hand, and gave him a drink.
  4. Now when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, "I will draw also for your camels until they have finished drinking."
  5. So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, and ran back to the well to draw, and she drew for all his camels.
  1. ±×·¯´Â µ¿¾È, ±×´Â ÀڱⰡ ¶ì°í ¿Â »ç¸íÀ» ¾ßÈѲ²¼­ ¶æ´ë·Î ÀÌ·ç¾îÁֽ÷Á´ÂÁö ¾Ë¾Æº¸·Á°í ¸®ºê°¡¸¦ ÁöÄѺ¸°í ÀÖ¾ú´Ù.
  2. ÀÌÀ¹°í ³«Å¸µéÀÌ ¹°À» ´Ù ¸¶½Ã°í ³ªÀÚ, ±×´Â ¹Ý ¼¼°Ö ³ª°¡´Â ±ÝÄÚ°í¸®¸¦ ¾Æ°¡¾¾¿¡°Ô °É¾îÁÖ°í ´Ù½Ã ½Ê ¼¼°Ö ³ª°¡´Â ±ÝÆÈÂî µÎ °³¸¦ Æȸñ¿¡ ³¢¿öÁÖ°í´Â,
  3. ¸®ºê°¡¿¡°Ô ¹°¾ú´Ù. "¾Æ°¡¾¾´Â ´µ ´ì µû´ÔÀ̽ÿÀ? ¾Æ°¡¾¾ÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö Áý¿¡´Â ÇÏ·í¹ã ½¬¾î°¥ ¸¸ÇÑ ¹æÀÌ ¾ø°Ú¼Ò?"
  4. ¸®ºê°¡´Â, "Àú´Â ºêµÎ¿¤À̶ó´Â ºÐÀÇ µþÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ÇҾƹöÁö´Â ³ªÈ¦ÀÌ°í ÇÒ¸Ó´Ï´Â ¹Ð°¡¶ó°í ÇÕ´Ï´Ù." ÇÏ°í ´ë´äÇÏ°í ³ª¼­
  5. ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¸»ÇÏ¿´´Ù. "ÀúÀÇ Áý¿¡´Â °Ü¿Í ¿©¹°µµ ³Ë³ËÇÏ°í ½¬¾î°¡½Ç ¸¸ÇÑ ¹æµµ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù."
  1. Meanwhile, the man was gazing at her in silence, to know whether the LORD had made his journey successful or not.
  2. When the camels had finished drinking, the man took a gold ring weighing a half-shekel and two bracelets for her wrists weighing ten shekels in gold,
  3. and said, "Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room for us to lodge in your father's house?"
  4. She said to him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor."
  5. Again she said to him, "We have plenty of both straw and feed, and room to lodge in."

  2. "³» ÁÖÀÎÀÇ ÇÏ´À´Ô ¾ßÈÑ, Âù¾çÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸½Ç ºÐÀ̾î¶ó. ¾ßÈѲ²¼­´Â ³» ÁÖÀÎÀ» ¹ö¸®Áö ¾ÊÀ¸½Ã°í, ÂüÀ¸·Î ½ÅÀǸ¦ ÁöÅ°¼Ì±¸³ª. ¾ßÈѲ²¼­ ÀÌ·¸°Ô ³ª¸¦ ÁÖÀÎÀÇ Ä£Ã´ Áý¿¡±îÁö ÀεµÇØ Áּ̱¸³ª." Çϸç Âù¾çÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  3. ¾Æ°¡¾¾´Â ¶Ù¾î°¡¼­ ¾î¸Ó´Ï Áý ½Ä±¸µé¿¡°Ô ÀÌ ÀÏÀ» ¾Ë·È´Ù.
  4. ±×·±µ¥ ¸®ºê°¡¿¡°Ô´Â ¶ó¹ÝÀ̶ó´Â ¿À¶ó¹ö´Ï°¡ ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. ¶ó¹ÝÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¸ÂÀ¸·¯ ¿ì¹°·Î ¶Ù¾î³ª¿Ô´Ù.
  5. ¶ó¹ÝÀº ÄÚ°í¸®¿Í ´©ÀÌ µ¿»ý ÆÈ¿¡ ³¢¾îÁ® ÀÖ´Â ÆÈÂ º¸°í, ¶Ç ¸®ºê°¡°¡ ÇÏ´Â ¸»À» µè°í ´Þ·Á ³ª¿Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù. ³ª¿Íº¸´Ï ±×´Â ¾ÆÁ÷µµ ³«Å¸¿Í ÇÔ²² »ùÅÍ¿¡ ¼­ ÀÖ¾ú´Ù.
  1. Then the man bowed low and worshiped the LORD.
  2. He said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His lovingkindness and His truth toward my master; as for me, the LORD has guided me in the way to the house of my master's brothers."
  3. Then the girl ran and told her mother's household about these things.
  4. Now Rebekah had a brother whose name was Laban; and Laban ran outside to the man at the spring.
  5. When he saw the ring and the bracelets on his sister's wrists, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, "This is what the man said to me," he went to the man; and behold, he was standing by the camels at the spring.

  2. ¶ó¹ÝÀº ±×¸¦ ÁýÀ¸·Î ¸ð½Å ´ÙÀ½ ³«Å¸ µî¿¡ ½ÇÀº Áü°ú ¾ÈÀåÀ» Ç®¾î ³»¸®°í ³«Å¸¿¡°Ô °Ü¿Í ¿©¹°À» ÁÖ°í ÀÏÇàÀÇ ¹ßÀ» ¾ÄÀ» ¹°À» ¶° ¿Ô´Ù.
  3. ±×¸®°í ¹ä»óÀ» Â÷·Á ³»³õ¾Ò´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ Á¾Àº ÀÚ±â´Â ½ÉºÎ¸§ ¿Â »ç¶÷À̶ó´Â °ÍÀ» ¹àÈ÷°í ±× ÀÏÀ» ¾Æ·Ú±â Àü¿¡´Â ¼öÀú¸¦ µé ¼ö ¾ø´Ù°í ÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¶ó¹ÝÀÌ ¾î¼­ ¸»Ç϶ó°í ÇÏÀÚ
  4. ±×´Â ÀÔÀ» ¿­¾î ¸»ÇÏ¿´´Ù. "Á¦ ÁÖÀÎÀº ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀ̶ó°í ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
  5. Á¦ ÁÖÀÎÀº ¾ßÈѲ² º¹À» ¸¹ÀÌ ¹Þ¾Æ ±²ÀåÇÑ ºÎÀÚ°¡ µÇ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù. ±×´Â ¾ç¶¼¿Í ¼Ò¶¼, ±Ý°ú Àº, ³²Á¾°ú ¿©Á¾, ³«Å¸¿Í ³ª±Í¸¦ ¾ßÈѲ² ¸¹ÀÌ ¹Þ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.
  1. And he said, "Come in, blessed of the LORD! Why do you stand outside since I have prepared the house, and a place for the camels?"
  2. So the man entered the house. Then Laban unloaded the camels, and he gave straw and feed to the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.
  3. But when food was set before him to eat, he said, "I will not eat until I have told my business." And he said, "Speak on."
  4. So he said, "I am Abraham's servant.
  5. "The LORD has greatly blessed my master, so that he has become rich; and He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and servants and maids, and camels and donkeys.

  2. ±×·±µ¥ Á¦ ÁÖÀÎÀº Àú¿¡°Ô ¸Í¼¼Ç϶ó°í ÇϽø鼭 ÀÌ·¸°Ô ´çºÎÇϼ̽À´Ï´Ù. '³ª´Â ³»°¡ »ì°í ÀÖ´Â ÀÌ °÷ °¡³ª¾È »ç¶÷ÀÇ µþµé °¡¿îµ¥¼­´Â ¸ç´À¸´°¨À» °í¸£Áö ¾Ê°Ú´Ù.
  3. ±×·¯´Ï ³Ê´Â ³» ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ °¡¹®, ³» ÀÏ°¡¸¦ ã¾Æ°¡¼­ ¸ç´À¸´°¨À» °ñ¶ó ¿À³Ê¶ó.'

  5. ÁÖÀÎÀº Àú¿¡°Ô ÀÌ·¸°Ô ÀÏ·¯Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù. '³»°¡ ¼¶°Ü¿Â ¾ßÈѲ²¼­ ´ç½ÅÀÇ Ãµ»ç¸¦ µþ·Á º¸³»½Ã¾î ³×°¡ °¡¼­ ÇÏ·Á´Â ÀÏÀ» ¶æ´ë·Î ÀÌ·ç¾îÁÖ½Ç °ÍÀÌ´Ù. ³Ê´Â ³» ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ °¡¹®, ³» ÀÏ°¡ °¡¿îµ¥¼­ ¸ç´À¸´°¨À» °ñ¶ó ¿Ã ¼ö ÀÖÀ» °ÍÀÌ´Ù.
  1. "Now Sarah my master's wife bore a son to my master in her old age, and he has given him all that he has.

  4. ±×·¯´Ï ÀÌÁ¦ Á¦ ÁÖÀο¡°Ô Âü È£ÀǸ¦ º£Ç®¾îÁֽ÷Á°Åµç ±×·¸´Ù°í ¸»¾¸ÇØ ÁֽʽÿÀ. ¾Æ´Ï¸é ±×·¸Áö ¾Ê´Ù°í ¸»¾¸ÇØ ÁֽʽÿÀ. ±×·¡¾ß Àúµµ Á¦ °¥ ±æÀ» ã°Ú½À´Ï´Ù."

  1. "She quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder, and said, 'Drink, and I will water your camels also'; so I drank, and she watered the camels also.
  2. "Then I asked her, and said, 'Whose daughter are you?' And she said, 'The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bore to him'; and I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her wrists.

  4. ±×¿Í ±×ÀÇ ÀÏÇàÀº À¶¼þÇÑ ´ëÁ¢À» ¹Þ°í ÇÏ·í¹ã ÆíÈ÷ ½¬¾ú´Ù. ÀÌƱ³¯ ¾Æħ, ¸ðµÎ ÀϾÀ» ¶§ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ ÁÖÀο¡°Ô µ¹¾Æ°¡¾ß ÇÏ°Ú´Ù°í ÇÏÀÚ,
  5. ¸®ºê°¡ÀÇ ¿À¶ó¹ö´Ï¿Í ¾î¸Ó´Ï°¡ ¸¸·ùÇÏ°í ³ª¼¹´Ù. "Á» ´õ Áý¿¡ µÎ¾ú´Ù°¡ µ¥·Á°¡½Ê½Ã¿À. ¿­Èê ¸¸ÀÌ¶óµµ µÎ¾ú´Ù°¡ µ¥·Á°¡½Ê½Ã¿À."
  1. "Here is Rebekah before you, take her and go, and let her be the wife of your master's son, as the LORD has spoken."
  2. When Abraham's servant heard their words, he bowed himself to the ground before the LORD.
  3. The servant brought out articles of silver and articles of gold, and garments, and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave precious things to her brother and to her mother.
  4. Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night. When they arose in the morning, he said, "Send me away to my master."
  5. But her brother and her mother said, "Let the girl stay with us a few days, say ten; afterward she may go."

  2. And they said, "We will call the girl and consult her wishes."
  3. Then they called Rebekah and said to her, "Will you go with this man?" And she said, "I will go."
  4. Thus they sent away their sister Rebekah and her nurse with Abraham's servant and his men.
  5. They blessed Rebekah and said to her, "May you, our sister, Become thousands of ten thousands, And may your descendants possess The gate of those who hate them."

  3. Àú³á¶§°¡ µÇ¾î ÀÌ»ç¾ÇÀº µé¿¡ ¹Ù¶÷½ý·¯ ³ª¿Ô´Ù°¡ °í°³¸¦ µé¾î ³«Å¸¶¼°¡ °¡±îÀÌ ¿À°í ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ» º¸¾Ò´Ù.
  4. ¸®ºê°¡µµ °í°³¸¦ µé¾î ÀÌ»ç¾ÇÀ» º¸°í ³«Å¸¿¡¼­ ³»·Á
  5. ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÇ Á¾¿¡°Ô ¹°¾ú´Ù. "µéÀ» °¡·ÎÁú·¯ ¿ì¸® ÂÊÀ¸·Î ¿À½Ã´Â ÀúºÐÀº ´©±¸ÀԴϱî?" Á¾ÀÌ ´ë´äÇÏ¿´´Ù. "Á¦ ÁÖÀÎÀÔ´Ï´Ù." ¸®ºê°¡´Â Á¾ÀÇ ¸»À» µè°í ³Ê¿ïÀ» ²¨³»¾î ¾ó±¼À» °¡·È´Ù.
  1. Then Rebekah arose with her maids, and they mounted the camels and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and departed.
  2. Now Isaac had come from going to Beer-lahai-roi; for he was living in the Negev.
  3. Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening; and he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, camels were coming.
  4. Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac she dismounted from the camel.
  5. She said to the servant, "Who is that man walking in the field to meet us?" And the servant said, "He is my master." Then she took her veil and covered herself.

  1. The servant told Isaac all the things that he had done.
  2. Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and he took Rebekah, and she became his wife, and he loved her; thus Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
