레위기 21:1-22:33

 제사장들은 하나님의 영광과 거룩하심을 위해 존재하는 자들이었다. 그들은 하나님께서 명하신 규례를 백성들에게 직접 가르칠 의무가 있었고 성별된 생활을 해야 했다. 하나님께 드리는 성물은 흠 없는 것이어야 했으며, 부정한 자는 그것을 먹을 수 없었다.
  
  제사장에 관한 규례(21:1-21:24)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 아론의 아들 사제들에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '사제는 아무도 일가친척의 시체에 닿아 부정을 타는 일이 없도록 하여라.
  2. 다만 한 식구인 부모와 아들과 딸과 형제의 시체에는 닿아도 된다.
  3. 또 친누이로서 아직 시집가지 않고 처녀로 있던 여자의 시체에 닿아 부정을 타는 것도 괜찮다.
  4. 그러나 자기 겨레 가운데서 남편을 얻어간 누이의 시체에 닿아 부정을 타서 자기를 속되게 하면 안 된다.
  5. 그들은 머리를 깎거나 구레나룻을 밀거나 몸에 칼자국을 내면 안 된다.
  1. The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 'A priest must not make himself ceremonially unclean for any of his people who die,
  2. except for a close relative, such as his mother or father, his son or daughter, his brother,
  3. or an unmarried sister who is dependent on him since she has no husband--for her he may make himself unclean.
  4. He must not make himself unclean for people related to him by marriage, and so defile himself.
  5. " 'Priests must not shave their heads or shave off the edges of their beards or cut their bodies.
  1. 그들은 하느님에게 몸바친 사람으로서 자기 하느님의 이름을 욕되게 해서는 안 된다. 자기 하느님 야훼에게 양식을 살라 바치는 사람으로서 그들은 거룩해야 한다.
  2. 그들은 창녀뿐 아니라 몸을 더럽힌 어떤 여자도 아내로 맞지 못한다. 남편에게 소박맞은 여자도 아내로 맞지 못한다. 사제는 하느님께 몸바친 사람이다.
  3. 그는 너희 하느님께 양식을 바치는 사람이니, 너희는 그를 거룩한 사람으로 대접해야 한다. 너희를 거룩하게 하는 나 야훼가 거룩하니, 사제도 너희에게는 거룩한 사람이다.
  4. 사제 된 사람의 딸이 창녀가 되어 몸을 더럽히면 그것은 제 아비를 욕되게 하는 것이다. 그 여자를 불에 태워 죽여라.
  5. 형제 가운데서도 으뜸가는 사제는 머리에 성별하는 기름을 붓고 제복을 입고 직권을 받았으므로 머리를 풀거나 옷을 찢지 못한다.
  1. They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the offerings made to the LORD by fire, the food of their God, they are to be holy.
  2. " 'They must not marry women defiled by prostitution or divorced from their husbands, because priests are holy to their God.
  3. Regard them as holy, because they offer up the food of your God. Consider them holy, because I the LORD am holy--I who make you holy.
  4. " 'If a priest's daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.
  5. " 'The high priest, the one among his brothers who has had the anointing oil poured on his head and who has been ordained to wear the priestly garments, must not let his hair become unkempt or tear his clothes.
  1. 그리고 어떤 상가에도 가지 못한다. 자기 부모가 죽어도 가까이 가서 부정을 타면 안 된다.
  2. 그는 성소를 떠나지 못한다. 자기 하느님의 성소를 더럽혀서는 안 된다. 그는 그의 하느님이 성별하는 기름을 부어 특별히 세워준 사람인 것이다. 나는 야훼이다.
  3. 그는 숫처녀만을 아내로 맞이할 수 있다.
  4. 과부나 소박맞은 여자나 창녀로서 몸을 더럽힌 여자를 아내로 맞이하지는 못한다. 같은 일가의 처녀 가운데서 골라 아내로 맞아야 한다.
  5. 그래야 일가 가운데 몸을 더럽힌 후손을 남기지 않을 것이다. 그를 거룩하게 하는 이는 나 야훼이다.'"
  1. He must not enter a place where there is a dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even for his father or mother,
  2. nor leave the sanctuary of his God or desecrate it, because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the LORD.
  3. " 'The woman he marries must be a virgin.
  4. He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or a woman defiled by prostitution, but only a virgin from his own people,
  5. so he will not defile his offspring among his people. I am the LORD, who makes him holy. ' "
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 아론에게 이렇게 일러라. '너의 후손 대대로 몸이 성하지 않은 사람은 그의 하느님께 양식을 바치러 가까이 나오지 못한다.
  3. 소경이든지 절름발이든지 얼굴이 일그러졌든지 사지가 제대로 생기지 않았든지 하여 몸이 성하지 않은 사람은 아무도 가까이 나오지 못한다.
  4. 다리가 부러졌거나 팔이 부러진 사람,
  5. 곱추, 난쟁이, 눈에 백태 낀 자, 옴쟁이, 종기가 많이 난 사람, 고자는 성소에 가까이 나오지 못한다.
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Say to Aaron: 'For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God.
  3. No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed;
  4. no man with a crippled foot or hand,
  5. or who is hunchbacked or dwarfed, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles.
  1. 사제 아론의 후손으로서 몸이 성하지 못한 사람은 아무도 야훼께 가까이 나와 번제를 드리지 못한다. 몸이 성하지 못한 사람은 그의 하느님께 양식을 바치러 가까이 나오지 못한다.
  2. 그러나 하느님께 바친 양식, 곧 더없이 거룩한 것과 보통으로 거룩한 것을 받아 먹을 수는 있다.
  3. 하지만 그는 몸이 성하지 못한 사람이기 때문에 휘장 안으로 들어가거나 제단 앞으로 나가서 나의 성소를 더럽혀서는 안 된다. 사제들을 거룩하게 하는 이는 나 야훼이다.'"
  4. 모세는 이 말씀을 아론과 그의 아들들과 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 일러주었다.
  1. No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the offerings made to the LORD by fire. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God.
  2. He may eat the most holy food of his God, as well as the holy food;
  3. yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the LORD, who makes them holy. ' "
  4. So Moses told this to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites.
 
  성물에 관한 규례(22:1-22:33)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 아론과 그의 아들들에게, 이스라엘 백성이 바치는 거룩한 예물을 함부로 다루면 안 된다고 일러주어라. 그렇게 하는 것은 나의 거룩한 이름을 더럽히는 것이 된다. 그들이야말로 나를 거룩히 받들 자들이다. 나는 야훼이다.
  3. 너는 그들에게 일러라. '너희 후손 대대로 이스라엘 백성이 야훼께 바치는 거룩한 예물을 부정한 몸으로 가까이하는 자는 그가 누구이든지 내 앞에서 추방당할 것이다. 나는 야훼이다.
  4. 아론의 후손은 누구를 막론하고 악성 피부병 환자이든 고름이 흐르는 환자이든, 정하게 되지 않고서는 거룩한 음식을 먹지 못한다. 어떤 주검에 닿은 사람과 고름이 나오는 사람,
  5. 어떤 길짐승에 닿아 부정을 탄 사람과 어떤 종류의 부정이든지 부정을 탄 사람에게 닿은 사람,
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings the Israelites consecrate to me, so they will not profane my holy name. I am the LORD.
  3. "Say to them: 'For the generations to come, if any of your descendants is ceremonially unclean and yet comes near the sacred offerings that the Israelites consecrate to the LORD, that person must be cut off from my presence. I am the LORD.
  4. " 'If a descendant of Aaron has an infectious skin disease or a bodily discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is cleansed. He will also be unclean if he touches something defiled by a corpse or by anyone who has an emission of semen,
  5. or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be.
  1. 그런 부정한 것에 닿은 사람은 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다. 그래도 목욕을 하지 않고서는 거룩한 음식을 먹지 못한다.
  2. 해가 져서 정하게 된 다음에야 자기의 양식인 거룩한 음식을 먹을 수 있다.
  3. 자연사한 짐승이나 맹수에게 찢겨 죽은 짐승은 부정을 타게 하는 것이니 먹지 못한다. 나는 야훼이다.
  4. 그들은 내가 지키라고 한 것을 그대로 지켜야 죄벌을 받지 않을 것이다. 그것을 어기면 죽으리라. 그들을 거룩하게 하는 이는 나 야훼이다.
  5. 여느 사람은 아무도 거룩한 음식을 먹지 못한다. 사제를 찾아온 손님이나 그가 부리는 품꾼도 거룩한 음식을 먹지 못한다.
  1. The one who touches any such thing will be unclean till evening. He must not eat any of the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water.
  2. When the sun goes down, he will be clean, and after that he may eat the sacred offerings, for they are his food.
  3. He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, and so become unclean through it. I am the LORD.
  4. " 'The priests are to keep my requirements so that they do not become guilty and die for treating them with contempt. I am the LORD, who makes them holy.
  5. " 'No one outside a priest's family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it.
  1. 그러나 사제가 사들인 종은 그것을 먹을 수 있다. 사제의 씨종도 그것이 제 집의 음식이므로 먹을 수 있다.
  2. 사제의 딸이라도 여느 사람에게 시집간 여자는 거룩한 예물로 바친 것을 먹지 못한다.
  3. 그러나 사제의 딸이 과부가 되었거나 소박을 맞아서 자식이 없이 친정에 돌아온 경우에는 어렸을 때와 같이 제 아비의 양식을 먹을 수 있다. 여느 사람은 아무도 함께 그것을 먹지 못한다.
  4. 누가 모르고 거룩한 음식을 먹은 경우에는 그 거룩한 음식의 오분의 일을 더 보태어 사제에게 갚아야 한다.
  5. 이렇게 이스라엘 백성이 야훼께 바친 거룩한 음식은 속되게 해서는 안 된다.
  1. But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if a slave is born in his household, that slave may eat his food.
  2. If a priest's daughter marries anyone other than a priest, she may not eat any of the sacred contributions.
  3. But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or is divorced, yet has no children, and she returns to live in her father's house as in her youth, she may eat of her father's food. No unauthorized person, however, may eat any of it.
  4. " 'If anyone eats a sacred offering by mistake, he must make restitution to the priest for the offering and add a fifth of the value to it.
  5. The priests must not desecrate the sacred offerings the Israelites present to the LORD
  1. 그들이 사제들의 거룩한 음식을 먹으면, 그 때문에 사제들은 면죄를 받아야 할 죄를 또 지게 된다. 그 음식을 거룩하게 하는 이는 나 야훼이다.'"
  2. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  3. "너는 아론과 그의 아들들과 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 물론이요 이스라엘에 몸붙여 사는 사람들까지도 서약을 이행하기 위해서나, 또는 마음에 우러나서 야훼께 번제를 드리려는 사람이 있으면
  4. 소나 양이나 염소 가운데서 흠이 없는 수컷을 바쳐야 한다. 그래야 너희가 그의 마음에 들 것이다.
  5. 너희는 성하지 못한 동물을 바치면 안 된다. 너희가 그의 마음에 들지 아니하리라.
  1. by allowing them to eat the sacred offerings and so bring upon them guilt requiring payment. I am the LORD, who makes them holy.' "
  2. The LORD said to Moses,
  3. "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'If any of you--either an Israelite or an alien living in Israel--presents a gift for a burnt offering to the LORD, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering,
  4. you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf.
  5. Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.
  1. 또 야훼께 서약한 것을 이행하기 위해서든지 또는 마음에 우러나서든지 소나 양을 친교제물로 드리려는 사람이 있으면 흠이 없는 것으로 바쳐야 한다. 그래야 너희가 그의 마음에 들 것이다. 성하지 못한 것은 어떤 것도 안 된다.
  2. 눈먼 것이나 뼈가 부러진 것, 다리가 잘린 것이나 병들어 물이 나오는 것, 옴이나 종기가 많이 난 것을 야훼께 바치지 못한다. 그런 것을 제단에 드려 야훼께 살라 바치면 안 된다.
  3. 소나 양 가운데 한 다리는 길고 한 다리는 오그라진 것을 마음에 우러나 바치는 예물로 삼을 수는 있으나, 그것을 서약을 이루기 위해 바치는 예물로 삼을 수는 없다. 그런 예물은 그의 마음에 들지 못하리라.
  4. 너희는 불알이 터졌거나 으스러졌거나 빠졌거나 잘라진 짐승을 야훼께 바치면 안 된다. 너희 땅에서 그런 것을 바치는 일이 있어서는 안 된다.
  5. 그런 불구나 병신을 외국인의 손에서 받아 너희 하느님의 양식으로 바쳐서는 안 된다. 그렇게 하면 너희가 그의 마음에 들 수 없다.'"
  1. When anyone brings from the herd or flock a fellowship offering to the LORD to fulfill a special vow or as a freewill offering, it must be without defect or blemish to be acceptable.
  2. Do not offer to the LORD the blind, the injured or the maimed, or anything with warts or festering or running sores. Do not place any of these on the altar as an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  3. You may, however, present as a freewill offering an ox or a sheep that is deformed or stunted, but it will not be accepted in fulfillment of a vow.
  4. You must not offer to the LORD an animal whose testicles are bruised, crushed, torn or cut. You must not do this in your own land,
  5. and you must not accept such animals from the hand of a foreigner and offer them as the food of your God. They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are deformed and have defects.' "
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "소나 양이나 염소는 태어난 후 칠 일 동안 제 어미 품에 두어야 한다. 팔 일째 되는 날부터 그것을 제물로 살라 야훼에게 바칠 수 있다. 그러면 야훼가 기뻐할 것이다.
  3. 소나 양을 그 새끼와 함께 같은 날 죽이지 마라.
  4. 너희가 감사제물을 야훼에게 잡아 바칠 경우에도 그의 마음에 들도록 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 그것은 그 날로 다 먹고 다음날 아침까지 남겨두지 못한다. 나는 야훼이다.
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "When a calf, a lamb or a goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  3. Do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day.
  4. "When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.
  5. It must be eaten that same day; leave none of it till morning. I am the LORD.
  1. 너희는 나의 지시를 지켜 그대로 해야 한다. 나는 야훼이다.
  2. 너희는 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하지 마라. 내가 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 마땅히 하느님으로서 존대를 받아야 하지 않겠느냐. 나 야훼가 너희를 거룩하게 하고
  3. 너희의 하느님이 되려고 이집트 땅에서 너희를 이끌어낸 자이다. 나는 야훼이다."
  1. "Keep my commands and follow them. I am the LORD.
  2. Do not profane my holy name. I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the LORD, who makes you holy
  3. and who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD."
