- 악행하기를 꾀하는 자를 일컬어 사악한 자라 하느니라
- 미련한 자의 생각은 죄요 거만한 자는 사람에게 미움을 받느니라
- 네가 만일 환난 날에 낙담하면 네 힘이 미약함을 보임이니라
- 너는 사망으로 끌려가는 자를 건져 주며 살륙을 당하게 된 자를 구원하지 아니하려고 하지 말라
- 네가 말하기를 나는 그것을 알지 못하였노라 할지라도 마음을 저울질 하시는 이가 어찌 통찰하지 못하시겠으며 네 영혼을 지키시는 이가 어찌 알지 못하시겠느냐 그가 각 사람의 행위대로 보응하시리라

- He who plots evil will be known as a schemer.
- The schemes of folly are sin, and men detest a mocker.
- If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!
- Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
- If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

- 내 아들아 꿀을 먹으라 이것이 좋으니라 송이꿀을 먹으라 이것이 네 입에 다니라
- 지혜가 네 영혼에게 이와 같은 줄을 알라 이것을 얻으면 정녕히 네 장래가 있겠고 네 소망이 끊어지지 아니하리라
- 악한 자여 의인의 집을 엿보지 말며 그가 쉬는 처소를 헐지 말지니라

- Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
- Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
- Do not lie in wait like an outlaw against a righteous man's house, do not raid his dwelling place;
