- 그들을 안전히 인도하시니 그들은 두려움이 없었으나 그들의 원수는 바다에 빠졌도다
- 그들을 그의 성소의 영역 곧 그의 오른손으로 만드신 산으로 인도하시고
- 또 나라를 그들의 앞에서 쫓아내시며 줄을 쳐서 그들의 소유를 분배하시고 이스라엘의 지파들이 그들의 장막에 살게 하셨도다
- 그러나 그들은 지존하신 하나님을 시험하고 반항하여 그의 명령을 지키지 아니하며
- 그들의 조상들 같이 배반하고 거짓을 행하여 속이는 활 같이 빗나가서

- And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
- And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
- He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
- Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:
- But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

- 자기 산당들로 그의 노여움을 일으키며 그들의 조각한 우상들로 그를 진노하게 하였으매
- 하나님이 들으시고 분내어 이스라엘을 크게 미워하사
- 사람 가운데 세우신 장막 곧 실로의 성막을 떠나시고
- 그가 그의 능력을 포로에게 넘겨 주시며 그의 영광을 대적의 손에 붙이시고
- 그가 그의 소유 때문에 분내사 그의 백성을 칼에 넘기셨으니

- For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
- When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:
- So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
- And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
- He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

- 그들의 청년은 불에 살라지고 그들의 처녀들은 혼인 노래를 들을 수 없었으며
- 그들의 제사장들은 칼에 엎드러지고 그들의 과부들은 애곡도 하지 못하였도다

- The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.
- Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.
