- 그는 그의 언약 곧 천 대에 걸쳐 명령하신 말씀을 영원히 기억하셨으니
- 이것은 아브라함과 맺은 언약이고 이삭에게 하신 맹세이며
- 야곱에게 세우신 율례 곧 이스라엘에게 하신 영원한 언약이라
- 이르시기를 내가 가나안 땅을 네게 주어 너희에게 할당된 소유가 되게 하리라 하셨도다
- 그 때에 그들의 사람 수가 적어 그 땅의 나그네가 되었고

- He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
- Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
- And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
- Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
- When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.

- 이 족속에게서 저 족속에게로, 이 나라에서 다른 민족에게로 떠돌아다녔도다
- 그러나 그는 사람이 그들을 억압하는 것을 용납하지 아니하시고 그들로 말미암아 왕들을 꾸짖어
- 이르시기를 나의 기름 부은 자를 손대지 말며 나의 선지자들을 해하지 말라 하셨도다
- 그가 또 그 땅에 기근이 들게 하사 그들이 의지하고 있는 양식을 다 끊으셨도다

- When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
- He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
- Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
- Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
