에스라

  본서는 하나님께서 예레미야를 통해 말씀하신 예언(렘 29:10-14), 즉 이스라엘 민족을 70년간의 포로 생활 후 다시 가나안 땅으로 인도하시리라는 약속의 성취 과정을 기록하고 있다. 그래서 이스라엘의 회복, 신앙과 예배의 구심적인 성전 재건, 야웨 신앙의 순수성 확립을 강조하고 있다.

  이스라엘 민족의 귀환은 3차에 걸쳐 이루어졌는데, 1,2차 귀환의 내용이 본서에 기록되고 있다. 1차 귀환과 성전 재건은 스룹바벨과 예수아를 중심으로 이루어졌으며, 2차 귀환은 에스라를 중심으로 이루어졌다. 에스라는 도덕적, 영적으로 폐허가 된 유대인들의 마음에 하나님의 법을 재건하는 신앙 개혁 운동을 일으켰다.

 

 

에스라 1:1-2:70

 하나님께서는 바사 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키셔서 이스라엘 백성에게 유다 예루살렘에 올라가 하나님의 전을 건축하라는 조서를 내리게 하셨다. 바벨론에서의 포로 생활을 청산하고 예루살렘으로 귀환한 사람들의 명단이 기록되어 있다.
  
  고레스의 조서(1:1-1:11)    
 
  1. 바사 왕 고레스 원년에 여호와께서 예레미야의 입을 통하여 하신 말씀을 이루게 하시려고 바사 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키시매 그가 온 나라에 공포도 하고 조서도 내려 이르되
  2. 바사 왕 고레스는 말하노니 하늘의 하나님 여호와께서 세상 모든 나라를 내게 주셨고 나에게 명령하사 유다 예루살렘에 성전을 건축하라 하셨나니
  3. 이스라엘의 하나님은 참 신이시라 너희 중에 그의 백성 된 자는 다 유다 예루살렘으로 올라가서 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축하라 그는 예루살렘에 계신 하나님이시라
  4. 그 남아 있는 백성이 어느 곳에 머물러 살든지 그 곳 사람들이 마땅히 은과 금과 그 밖의 물건과 짐승으로 도와 주고 그 외에도 예루살렘에 세울 하나님의 성전을 위하여 예물을 기쁘게 드릴지니라 하였더라
  5. 이에 유다와 베냐민 족장들과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 그 마음이 하나님께 감동을 받고 올라가서 예루살렘에 여호와의 성전을 건축하고자 하는 자가 다 일어나니
  1. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
  2. Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
  3. Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
  4. And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
  5. Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
  1. 그 사면 사람들이 은 그릇과 금과 물품들과 짐승과 보물로 돕고 그 외에도 예물을 기쁘게 드렸더라
  2. 고레스 왕이 또 여호와의 성전 그릇을 꺼내니 옛적에 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에서 옮겨다가 자기 신들의 신당에 두었던 것이라
  3. 바사 왕 고레스가 창고지기 미드르닷에게 명령하여 그 그릇들을 꺼내어 세어서 유다 총독 세스바살에게 넘겨주니
  4. 그 수는 금 접시가 서른 개요 은 접시가 천 개요 칼이 스물아홉 개요
  5. 금 대접이 서른 개요 그보다 못한 은 대접이 사백열 개요 그밖의 그릇이 천 개이니
  1. And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
  2. Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
  3. Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
  4. And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
  5. Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
  1. 금, 은 그릇이 모두 오천사백 개라 사로잡힌 자를 바벨론에서 예루살렘으로 데리고 갈 때에 세스바살이 그 그릇들을 다 가지고 갔더라
  1. All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
 
  귀환자 명단(2:1-2:70)    
 
  1. 옛적에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게 사로잡혀 바벨론으로 갔던 자들의 자손들 중에서 놓임을 받고 예루살렘과 유다 도로 돌아와 각기 각자의 성읍으로 돌아간 자
  2. 곧 스룹바벨과 예수아와 느헤미야와 스라야와 르엘라야와 모르드개와 빌산과 미스발과 비그왜와 르훔과 바아나 등과 함께 나온 이스라엘 백성의 명수가 이러하니
  3. 바로스 자손이 이천백칠십이 명이요
  4. 스바댜 자손이 삼백칠십이 명이요
  5. 아라 자손이 칠백칠십오 명이요
  1. Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
  2. Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mizpar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
  3. The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.
  4. The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.
  5. The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.
  1. 바핫모압 자손 곧 예수아와 요압 자손이 이천팔백십이 명이요
  2. 엘람 자손이 천이백오십사 명이요
  3. 삿두 자손이 구백사십오 명이요
  4. 삭개 자손이 칠백육십 명이요
  5. 바니 자손이 육백사십이 명이요
  1. The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
  2. The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
  3. The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.
  4. The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.
  5. The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two.
  1. 브배 자손이 육백이십삼 명이요
  2. 아스갓 자손이 천이백이십이 명이요
  3. 아도니감 자손이 육백육십육 명이요
  4. 비그왜 자손이 이천오십육 명이요
  5. 아딘 자손이 사백오십사 명이요
  1. The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.
  2. The children of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty and two.
  3. The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
  4. The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six.
  5. The children of Adin, four hundred fifty and four.
  1. 아델 자손 곧 히스기야 자손이 구십팔 명이요
  2. 베새 자손이 삼백이십삼 명이요
  3. 요라 자손이 백십이 명이요
  4. 하숨 자손이 이백이십삼 명이요

  1. The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
  2. The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three.
  3. The children of Jorah, an hundred and twelve.
  4. The children of Hashum, two hundred twenty and three.
  5. The children of Gibbar, ninety and five.
  1. 베들레헴 사람이 백이십삼 명이요
  2. 느도바 사람이 오십육 명이요
  3. 아나돗 사람이 백이십팔 명이요
  4. 아스마웻（아스마웨ㅅ） 자손이 사십이 명이요
  5. 기랴다림과 그비라와 브에롯 자손이 칠백사십삼 명이요
  1. The children of Bethlehem, an hundred twenty and three.
  2. The men of Netophah, fifty and six.
  3. The men of Anathoth, an hundred twenty and eight.
  4. The children of Azmaveth, forty and two.
  5. The children of Kirjatharim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three.
  1. 라마와 게바 자손이 육백이십일 명이요

  1. The children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.
  2. The men of Michmas, an hundred twenty and two.
  3. The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred twenty and three.
  4. The children of Nebo, fifty and two.
  5. The children of Magbish, an hundred fifty and six.
  1. 다른 엘람 자손이 천이백오십사 명이요
  2. 하림 자손이 삼백이십 명이요
  3. 로드와 하딧과 오노 자손이 칠백이십오 명이요

  1. The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
  2. The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
  3. The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five.
  4. The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
  5. The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.
  1. 제사장들은 예수아의 집 여다야 자손이 구백칠십삼 명이요
  2. 임멜 자손이 천오십이 명이요
  3. 바스훌 자손이 천이백사십칠 명이요
  4. 하림 자손이 천십칠 명이었더라
  5. 레위 사람은 호다위야 자손 곧 예수아와 갓미엘 자손이 칠십사 명이요
  1. The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.
  2. The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.
  3. The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.
  4. The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
  5. The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four.

  2. 문지기의 자손들은 살룸과 아델과 달문과 악굽과 하디다와 소배 자손이 모두 백삼십구 명이었더라

  4. 게로스 자손과 시아하 자손과 바돈 자손과
  5. 르바나 자손과 하가바 자손과 악굽 자손과
  1. The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred twenty and eight.
  2. The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all an hundred thirty and nine.
  3. The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
  4. The children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon,
  5. The children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub,
  1. 하갑 자손과 사믈래 자손과 하난 자손과
  2. 깃델 자손과 가할 자손과 르아야 자손과
  3. 르신 자손과 느고다 자손과 갓삼 자손과
  4. 웃사 자손과 바세아 자손과 베새 자손과
  5. 아스나 자손과 므우님 자손과 느부심 자손과
  1. The children of Hagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Hanan,
  2. The children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah,
  3. The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,
  4. The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai,
  5. The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim,

  1. The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
  2. The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
  3. The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,
  4. The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
  5. The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,
  1. 야알라 자손과 다르곤 자손과 깃델 자손과
  2. 스바댜 자손과 하딜 자손과 보게렛하스바임 자손과 아미 자손이니
  3. 모든 느디님 사람과 솔로몬의 신하의 자손이 삼백구십이 명이었더라
  4. 델멜라와 델하르사와 그룹과 앗단과 임멜에서 올라온 자가 있으나 그들의 조상의 가문과 선조가 이스라엘에 속하였는지 밝힐 수 없었더라
  5. 그들은 들라야 자손과 도비야 자손과 느고다 자손이라 모두 육백오십이 명이요
  1. The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
  2. The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.
  3. All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
  4. And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
  5. The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
  1. 제사장 중에는 하바야 자손과 학고스 자손과 바르실래 자손이니 바르실래는 길르앗 사람 바르실래의 딸 중의 한 사람을 아내로 삼고 바르실래의 이름을 따른 자라
  2. 이 사람들은 계보 중에서 자기 이름을 찾아도 얻지 못하므로 그들을 부정하게 여겨 제사장의 직분을 행하지 못하게 하고
  3. 방백이 그들에게 명령하여 우림과 둠밈을 가진 제사장이 일어나기 전에는 지성물을 먹지 말라 하였느니라
  4. 온 회중의 합계가 사만 이천삼백육십 명이요
  5. 그 외에 남종과 여종이 칠천삼백삼십칠 명이요 노래하는 남녀가 이백 명이요
  1. And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:
  2. These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
  3. And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
  4. The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
  5. Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.
  1. 말이 칠백삼십육이요 노새가 이백사십오요
  2. 낙타가 사백삼십오요 나귀가 육천칠백이십이었더라
  3. 어떤 족장들이 예루살렘에 있는 여호와의 성전 터에 이르러 하나님의 전을 그 곳에 다시 건축하려고 예물을 기쁘게 드리되
  4. 힘 자라는 대로 공사하는 금고에 들이니 금이 육만 천 다릭이요 은이 오천 마네요 제사장의 옷이 백 벌이었더라
  5. 이에 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 백성 몇과 노래하는 자들과 문지기들과 느디님 사람들이 각자의 성읍에 살았고 이스라엘 무리도 각자의 성읍에 살았더라
  1. Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
  2. Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
  3. And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:
  4. They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
  5. So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
