- 내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요 내가 그것을 종일 작은 소리로 읊조리나이다
- 주의 계명들이 항상 나와 함께 하므로 그것들이 나를 원수보다 지혜롭게 하나이다
- 내가 주의 증거들을 늘 읊조리므로 나의 명철함이 나의 모든 스승보다 나으며
- 주의 법도들을 지키므로 나의 명철함이 노인보다 나으니이다
- 내가 주의 말씀을 지키려고 발을 금하여 모든 악한 길로 가지 아니하였사오며

- O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
- Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
- I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
- I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
- I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
