누가복음 5:29-6:11

 예수님께서는 세리 마태를 제자로 삼으신 것을 비방하는 자들에게 자신은 의인이 아닌 죄인을 불러 회개시키러 오셨다고 말씀하시고 자신을 안식일의 주인으로 천명하셨다.
  
  금식 논쟁(5:29-5:39)    
 
  1. 레위가 예수를 위하여 자기 집에서 큰 잔치를 하니 세리와 다른 사람이 많이 함께 앉아 있는지라
  2. 바리새인과 그들의 서기관들이 그 제자들을 비방하여 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 세리와 죄인과 함께 먹고 마시느냐
  3. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 건강한 자에게는 의사가 쓸 데 없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸 데 있나니
  4. 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 불러 회개시키러 왔노라
  5. 그들이 예수께 말하되 요한의 제자는 자주 금식하며 기도하고 바리새인의 제자들도 또한 그리하되 당신의 제자들은 먹고 마시나이다
  1. Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.
  2. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
  3. Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
  4. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
  5. They said to him, "John's disciples often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking."
  1. 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 혼인 집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 때에 너희가 그 손님으로 금식하게 할 수 있느냐
  2. 그러나 그 날에 이르러 그들이 신랑을 빼앗기리니 그 날에는 금식할 것이니라
  3. 또 비유하여 이르시되 새 옷에서 한 조각을 찢어 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 옷을 찢을 뿐이요 또 새 옷에서 찢은 조각이 낡은 것에 어울리지 아니하리라
  4. 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 포도주가 부대를 터뜨려 포도주가 쏟아지고 부대도 못쓰게 되리라
  5. 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 할 것이니라
  1. Jesus answered, "Can you make the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them?
  2. But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast."
  3. He told them this parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old.
  4. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.
  5. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.
  1. 묵은 포도주를 마시고 새 것을 원하는 자가 없나니 이는 묵은 것이 좋다 함이니라
  1. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, 'The old is better.' "
 
  안식일의 주인(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. 안식일에 예수께서 밀밭 사이로 지나가실새 제자들이 이삭을 잘라 손으로 비비어 먹으니
  2. 어떤 바리새인들이 말하되 어찌하여 안식일에 하지 못할 일을 하느냐
  3. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 다윗이 자기 및 자기와 함께 한 자들이 시장할 때에 한 일을 읽지 못하였느냐
  4. 그가 하나님의 전에 들어가서 다만 제사장 외에는 먹어서는 안 되는 진설병을 먹고 함께 한 자들에게도 주지 아니하였느냐
  5. 또 이르시되 인자는 안식일의 주인이니라 하시더라
  1. One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels.
  2. Some of the Pharisees asked, "Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?"
  3. Jesus answered them, "Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?
  4. He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions."
  5. Then Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
  1. 또 다른 안식일에 예수께서 회당에 들어가사 가르치실새 거기 오른손 마른 사람이 있는지라
  2. 서기관과 바리새인들이 예수를 고발할 증거를 찾으려 하여 안식일에 병을 고치시는가 엿보니
  3. 예수께서 그들의 생각을 아시고 손 마른 사람에게 이르시되 일어나 한가운데 서라 하시니 그가 일어나 서거늘
  4. 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 내가 너희에게 묻노니 안식일에 선을 행하는 것과 악을 행하는 것, 생명을 구하는 것과 죽이는 것, 어느 것이 옳으냐 하시며
  5. 무리를 둘러보시고 그 사람에게 이르시되 네 손을 내밀라 하시니 그가 그리하매 그 손이 회복된지라
  1. On another Sabbath he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled.
  2. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.
  3. But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Get up and stand in front of everyone." So he got up and stood there.
  4. Then Jesus said to them, "I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?"
  5. He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did so, and his hand was completely restored.
  1. 그들은 노기가 가득하여 예수를 어떻게 할까 하고 서로 의논하니라
  1. But they were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
