누가복음 6:39-7:10

 예수님께서는 남을 판단하기보다 자신을 먼저 살필 것을 말씀하시고, 나무는 각각 그 열매로 알 수 있다고 말씀하셨다. 가버나움으로 가신 예수께서는 백부장의 큰 믿음을 보시고 그의 종의 병을 고쳐 주셨다.
  
  참된 지도자(6:39-6:49)    
 
  1. 또 비유로 말씀하시되 맹인이 맹인을 인도할 수 있느냐 둘이 다 구덩이에 빠지지 아니하겠느냐
  2. 제자가 그 선생보다 높지 못하나 무릇 온전하게 된 자는 그 선생과 같으리라
  3. 어찌하여 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티는 보고 네 눈 속에 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐
  4. 너는 네 눈 속에 있는 들보를 보지 못하면서 어찌하여 형제에게 말하기를 형제여 나로 네 눈 속에 있는 티를 빼게 하라 할 수 있느냐 외식하는 자여 먼저 네 눈 속에서 들보를 빼라 그 후에야 네가 밝히 보고 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티를 빼리라
  5. 못된 열매 맺는 좋은 나무가 없고 또 좋은 열매 맺는 못된 나무가 없느니라
  1. He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?
  2. A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.
  3. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
  4. How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
  5. "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
  1. 나무는 각각 그 열매로 아나니 가시나무에서 무화과를, 또는 찔레에서 포도를 따지 못하느니라
  2. 선한 사람은 마음에 쌓은 선에서 선을 내고 악한 자는 그 쌓은 악에서 악을 내나니 이는 마음에 가득한 것을 입으로 말함이니라
  3. 너희는 나를 불러 주여 주여 하면서도 어찌하여 내가 말하는 것을 행하지 아니하느냐
  4. 내게 나아와 내 말을 듣고 행하는 자마다 누구와 같은 것을 너희에게 보이리라
  5. 집을 짓되 깊이 파고 주추를 반석 위에 놓은 사람과 같으니 큰 물이 나서 탁류가 그 집에 부딪치되 잘 지었기 때문에 능히 요동하지 못하게 하였거니와
  1. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.
  2. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
  3. "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?
  4. I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice.
  5. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
  1. 듣고 행하지 아니하는 자는 주추 없이 흙 위에 집 지은 사람과 같으니 탁류가 부딪치매 집이 곧 무너져 파괴됨이 심하니라 하시니라
  1. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
 
  백부장의 믿음(7:1-7:10)    
 
  1. 예수께서 모든 말씀을 백성에게 들려 주시기를 마치신 후에 가버나움으로 들어가시니라
  2. 어떤 백부장의 사랑하는 종이 병들어 죽게 되었더니
  3. 예수의 소문을 듣고 유대인의 장로 몇 사람을 예수께 보내어 오셔서 그 종을 구해 주시기를 청한지라
  4. 이에 그들이 예수께 나아와 간절히 구하여 이르되 이 일을 하시는 것이 이 사람에게는 합당하니이다
  5. 그가 우리 민족을 사랑하고 또한 우리를 위하여 회당을 지었나이다 하니
  1. When Jesus had finished saying all this in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum.
  2. There a centurion's servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die.
  3. The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant.
  4. When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, "This man deserves to have you do this,
  5. because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue."
  1. 예수께서 함께 가실새 이에 그 집이 멀지 아니하여 백부장이 벗들을 보내어 이르되 주여 수고하시지 마옵소서 내 집에 들어오심을 나는 감당하지 못하겠나이다
  2. 그러므로 내가 주께 나아가기도 감당하지 못할 줄을 알았나이다 말씀만 하사 내 하인을 낫게 하소서
  3. 나도 남의 수하에 든 사람이요 내 아래에도 병사가 있으니 이더러 가라 하면 가고 저더러 오라 하면 오고 내 종더러 이것을 하라 하면 하나이다
  4. 예수께서 들으시고 그를 놀랍게 여겨 돌이키사 따르는 무리에게 이르시되 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이스라엘 중에서도 이만한 믿음은 만나보지 못하였노라 하시더라
  5. 보내었던 사람들이 집으로 돌아가 보매 종이 이미 나아 있었더라
  1. So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof.
  2. That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.
  3. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
  4. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel."
  5. Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.
