- 주께서 한 포도나무를 이집트에서 가져다가 이방 민족을 쫓아내시고 그들의 땅에 그것을 심으셨습니다.
- 주께서 그 땅을 미리 준비하셨으므로 그 뿌리가 깊이 박혀서 온 땅에 퍼졌으며
- 그 그늘이 산들을 가리고 그 가지는 큰 백향목을 뒤덮고
- 지중해와 유프라테스강까지 뻗었는데
- 어째서 주는 그 담을 허시고 지나가는 자들이 그 열매를 따먹게 하셨습니까?

- Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
- Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
- The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
- She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
- Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

- 산돼지가 그 나무를 해치고 들짐승이 그것을 먹습니다.
- 전능하신 하나님이시여, 우리에게 돌이키소서. 하늘에서 굽어 살피시고 이 포도나무를 보살펴 주소서.
- 이것은 주께서 직접 심고 기르신 포도나무입니다.
- 주의 포도나무가 잘라지고 불에 타며 주의 책망으로 주의 백성이 망하게 되었습니다.
- 주께서 택하신 백성, 주께서 강하게 하신 민족을 보호하소서.

- The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
- Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
- And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
- It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
- Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

- 그러면 우리가 다시는 주를 떠나지 않겠습니다. 우리를 소생시켜 주소서. 우리가 주의 이름을 부르겠습니다.
- 전능하신 하나님 여호와여, 우리를 다시 회복시켜 주시고 우리에게 자비를 베푸셔서 우리가 구원을 얻게 하소서.

- So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
- Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
