열왕기상 7:1-7:51

 성전 건축을 마친 솔로몬은 이어 자신의 궁전을 건축하였고 성전에 필요한 여러 가지 기구들을 제작하였다.
  
  왕궁 건축(7:1-7:12)    
 
  1. 또 솔로몬은 자기 궁전을 13년 동안 건축하며 준공하였다.
  2. 그 궁전에는 레바논의 숲이라고 부르는 궁이 있었다. 그 규모는 길이가 45미터, 폭이 22.5 미터, 높이가 13.5미터였으며 네 줄의 백향목 기둥이 있고 그 위에는 세 줄의 들보가 얹혀 있었다. 그리고 그 들보는 한 줄에 15개씩 모두 45개였다.

  4. 또 그 궁의 양쪽 벽에는 세 줄의 창문이 나 있고
  5. 모든 출입문과 창문은 4각형으로 만들었으며 양쪽 벽에 있는 그 세 줄의 창문들은 서로 마주 보게 하였다.
  1. But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
  2. He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
  3. And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.
  4. And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.
  5. And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
  1. 그리고 솔로몬은 주랑을 만들었다. 그 길이는 22.5미터이고 폭은 13.5미터이며 그 기둥 앞에는 현관 하나를 붙여 지었다.
  2. 그는 또 왕좌를 놓고 앉아서 재판 할 집무실도 지었는데 바닥에서부터 천정까지 온통 백향목 판자로 덮었다.
  3. 그리고 솔로몬의 관저는 그의 집무실 뒷편의 다른 뜰에 있었으며 그 모양은 다른 궁과 비슷하였다. 또 솔로몬은 자기 아내인 바로의 딸을 위해서도 이와 똑같은 궁을 하나 더 지었다.
  4. 이 모든 건물들은 기초에서 처마까지 값비싼 좋은 돌을 다듬어 지은 것이며 그 돌들은 치수대로 잘라 그 면을 가는 톱으로 잘 다듬은 것이었다.
  5. 그 기초석은 질이 좋은 큰 돌로 만들었으며 그 길이가 어떤 것은 4.5미터, 어떤 것은 3.6미터였다.
  1. And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.
  2. Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
  3. And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.
  4. All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.
  5. And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
  1. 그리고 그 기초석 위에는 치수대로 다듬은 좋은 돌을 쌓고 그 위에 백향목 들보를 놓았다.
  2. 또 궁전의 큰 뜰은 현관이 딸린 성전 안뜰처럼 다듬은 돌을 세 층으로 쌓고 그 위에 백향목 판자 하층을 얹은 담으로 만들었다.
  1. And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
  2. And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
 
  성전 기구 제작(7:13-7:51)    
 
  1. 솔로몬 왕은 두로에서 후람이라는 사람을 데려왔다.
  2. 그의 어머니는 납달리 지파 사람이었고 죽은 그의 아버지는 놋세공 기술이 뛰어난 두로 사람이었다. 후람 역시 이 분야에 훌륭한 재능을 가진 숙련공이었으므로 그는 솔로몬 왕의 부탁을 받고 와서 여러 가지 놋제품을 만들었다.
  3. 후람은 먼저 놋기둥 두 개를 만들었다. 그 높이는 각각 8.1미터이고 둘레는 5.4미터였다.
  4. 그는 또 놋기둥에 얹을 기둥머리 두 개를 만들었는데 이것도 놋물을 부어서 만든 것으로 그 높이가 약 2.3미터였다.
  5. 그 기둥머리는 바둑판 모양으로 얽은 그물과 꽃줄 모양의 사과 두 줄의 놋석류로 장식했으며
  1. And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
  2. He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
  3. For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
  4. And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
  5. And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.

  2. 기둥머리 윗 부분 1.8미터는 백합화 모양으로 만들고
  3. 공처럼 둥글게 만든 그 그물 세공 둘레에는 200개의 석류를 두 줄로 달았다.
  4. 그리고서 후람은 이 두 기둥을 성전 입구에 세웠는데 그는 오른쪽에 세운 기둥을 '야긴'이라 부르고 왼쪽에 세운 기둥을 '보아스'라고 불렀다.
  5. 이렇게 해서 성전 입구의 양쪽 기둥은 완성되었다.
  1. And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
  2. And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
  3. And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
  4. And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
  5. And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
  1. 후람은 또 둥근 모양의 큰 물탱크 하나를 만들었다. 그것은 직경이 4.5미터, 높이가 약 2.3미터, 둘레는 13.5미터였으며
  2. 그 가장자리 아래에는 돌아가면서 4.5센티미터 간격으로 두 줄의 놋조롱박이 하나씩 달려 있었다. 이것은 물탱크와 하나로 주조된 것이었다.
  3. 그 물탱크는 서로 엉덩이를 맞대고 있는 열 두 마리의 놋소 위에 얹혀 있었으며 그 놋소들은 동서남북으로 각각 세 마리씩 바깥쪽으로 향하였다.

  5. 그리고 후람은 물통을 얹을 이동식 놋받침 열 개를 만들었다. 이것은 각각 그 길이와 폭이 1.8미터, 높이가 약 1.4미터로
  1. And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
  2. And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
  3. It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
  4. And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
  5. And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
  1. 틀에 고정시킨 사각형의 놋판으로 만들어졌는데
  2. 그 놋판에는 사자와 소와 그룹 천사들이 있고 그 틀 위에는 밑받침이 있으며 사자와 소 아래에는 화환 모양으로 되어 있었다.
  3. 또 놋받침에는 놋으로 만든 바퀴 네 개와 축이 있고 그 놋받침 네 모퉁이에는 물통을 얹을 수 있는 네 발이 있으며 그 발은 화환으로 장식되어 있었다.
  4. 그리고 놋받침 맨 위에는 오목한 받침대가 있었다. 그것은 놋받침에서 위로 45센티미터 올라왔고 그 깊이가 약 68센티미터였으며 그 면에도 무늬를 아로새겼다.
  5. 또 네 개의 바퀴가 놋판 밑에 있고 바퀴 축이 놋받침에 연결되어 있었으며 그 바퀴의 높이는 약 68센티미터였다.
  1. And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:
  2. And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
  3. And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.
  4. And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.
  5. And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
  1. 그리고 그 바퀴는 전차바퀴처럼 만들어졌고 축과 테와 살과 바퀴통이 모두 놋물을 부어 만든 것이었다.
  2. 놋받침 네 모퉁이에는 하나로 연결된 네 개의 버팀대가 있고
  3. 놋받침 꼭대기 언저리에는 폭이 약 23센티미터 되는 둥근 띠가 둘러 있으며 버팀대와 놋판은 놋받침과 하나로 주조되어 있었다.
  4. 그리고 버팀대와 놋판의 빈자리에는 그룹 천사와 사자와 종려나무를 아로새겼고 그 둘레에는 화환 모양을 새겼다.
  5. 이렇게 해서 후람은 놋받침 열 개를 만들었는데 이것들은 그 모양과 크기가 모두 같았다.
  1. And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.
  2. And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.
  3. And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
  4. For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
  5. After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
  1. 그리고 그는 놋받침 위에 얹을 물통 열 개를 만들었다. 그 직경은 모두 1.8미터이며 물통 하나의 용량은 880리터였다.
  2. 그리고서 그는 놋받침 다섯을 성전 오른편에 두고 다섯은 성전 왼편에 두었으며 물탱크는 성전 우측의 남동쪽 모퉁이에 두었다.
  3. 후람은 또 솥과 부삽과 대접을 만들어 솔로몬 왕이 지시한 성전 일을 다 완성하였다. 그가 만든 것은
  4. 두 개의 기둥, 기둥 꼭대기에 얹을 두 개의 기둥머리, 꽃줄 모양의 두 그물 장치,
  5. 기둥 머리 그물에 두 줄로 단 400개의 놋석류,
  1. Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
  2. And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.
  3. And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD:
  4. The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
  5. And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
  1. 열 개의 놋받침, 열 개의 물통,
  2. 물탱크와 그것을 떠받치는 열 두 마리의 놋소,
  3. 그리고 솥과 부삽과 대접이었는데 후람은 솔로몬 왕을 위해 성전의 이 모든 기구들을 빛나는 놋으로 만들었는데
  4. 솔로몬 왕은 숙곳과 사르단 사이에 있는 요단 평야에서 찰흙으로 주형을 떠서 그 모든 기구를 만들도록 하였다.
  5. 솔로몬은 이 모든 기구들을 달아 보지 않은 채 그냥 두었다. 이것은 그 기구들이 너무 많아 놋의 중량을 측정할 수가 없었기 때문이었다.
  1. And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
  2. And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
  3. And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
  4. In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
  5. And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
  1. 또 솔로몬은 성전의 다른 기구들도 만들었다. 그것은 제단, 항상 빵을 차려 놓는 차림상,
  2. 지성소 앞 좌우에 다섯개씩 놓을 등대, 꽃장식물, 등잔, 불집게,
  3. 대접, 심지 자르는 가위, 주발, 국자, 불을 옮기는 그릇, 그리고 지성소의 문과 성전 출입문의 돌쩌귀였으며 이 모든 것은 다 금으로 만들어졌다.
  4. 솔로몬은 성전의 이 모든 기구들을 만들고 나서 자기 아버지 다윗이 여호와께 드린 은과 금과 그 밖의 기구들을 성전 창고에 넣어 두었다.
  1. And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,
  2. And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
  3. And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.
  4. So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.
