이사야 64:1-66:24

 이사야는 이스라엘이 바벨론에서 해방되도록 하나님께 간구하였다. 이에 하나님께서는 이스라엘의 죄로 인한 심판의 필연성을 선포하셨다. 그리고 신앙을 지킨 남은 자들의 구원과 이들을 중심으로 한 예루살렘의 평화와 번영을 약속하셨다. 또한 구원이 이방인에게 확대될 것과 그리스도의 재림, 죄인의 최후 심판을 예고하셨다.
  
  도움을 구하는 기도(64:1-64:12)    
 
  1. 여호와여, 하늘을 가르고 내려오소서. 작은 나뭇가지가 불에 타고 물이 불에 끓듯이 산들이 주를 보면 두려워 떨 것입니다. 여호와여, 오셔서 주의 원수들에게 주의 능력을 나타내셔서 온 세상이 주 앞에서 떨게 하소서.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. 주께서 오셔서 우리가 생각할 수 없는 놀라운 일을 행하셨을 때에 산들이 주 앞에서 두려워 떨었습니다.
  4. 자기에게 희망을 건 사람들을 위하여 주와 같이 이런 놀라운 일을 행하시는 신이 있었다는 말을 옛날부터 들은 자가 없고 깨달은 자도 없으며 그런 신을 본 사람도 없습니다.
  5. 주는 기쁘게 옳은 일을 행하는 자와 주의 법도를 기억하는 자를 환영하십니다. 그러나 우리가 주께 계속 범죄했을 때 주는 분노하셨으니 우리가 어떻게 구원을 얻겠습니까?
  1. Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
  2. As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
  3. When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
  4. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
  5. Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
  1. 우리는 다 죄로 더러워졌으며 우리의 의로운 행위는 때묻은 누더기와 같아서 우리가 다 잎사귀처럼 말라 죄악의 바람에 휩쓸려 가고 있습니다.
  2. 주의 이름을 부르는 자가 없으며 애써 주를 붙들려고 하는 자도 없습니다. 그러므로 주께서는 우리의 죄 때문에 우리를 외면하시고 버리셨습니다.
  3. 그러나 여호와여, 주는 우리의 아버지이십니다. 우리는 진흙이며 주는 토기장이와 같아서 주의 손으로 우리를 만드셨습니다.
  4. 여호와여, 너무 분노하지 마시고 우리의 죄를 영원히 기억하지 마소서. 우리는 다 주의 백성들입니다. 우리를 굽어 살피소서.
  5. 주의 거룩한 성들이 파괴되고 시온이 광야가 되었으며 예루살렘이 폐허가 되었습니다.
  1. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
  2. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
  3. But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
  4. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
  5. Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
  1. 우리 조상들이 주를 찬양하던 거룩하고 아름다운 우리의 성전이 불에 탔으며 우리가 소중히 여기던 곳이 다 황무지가 되고 말았습니다.
  2. 여호와여, 이런 일이 있었는데도 주는 우리를 돕지 않으시겠습니까? 우리가 말할 수 없는 고통을 당하고 있는데도 주는 침묵만 지키고 계시겠습니까?
  1. Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
  2. Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
 
  심판과 구원(65:1-65:16)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. '나에게 묻지 않은 사람들에게 내가 나를 나타내고 나를 찾지 않던 사람들에게 내가 발견되었으며 내 이름을 부르지 않은 나라에 '내가 여기 있다. 내가 여기 있다.' 하였다.
  2. 내가 하루 종일 팔을 벌리고 내 백성을 맞을 준비를 하였으나 그들은 거역하며 자기들 멋대로 악한 짓을 하고 있다.
  3. 그들은 정원에서 제사를 지내고 벽돌 제단에서 분향하여 항상 내 분노를 일으키는 백성이다.
  4. 밤이 되면 그들은 죽은 자들의 영들을 만나려고 무덤이나 동굴을 찾아가며 먹지 못하도록 되어 있는 돼지고기를 먹고 우상에게 제사한 고기를 삶아 그 국물을 마시면서도
  5. 다른 사람에게는 '너무 가까이 오지 말아라. 나는 네가 만져서는 안 될 거룩한 몸이다.' 하고 말하니 이런 자들이 밤낮 내 분노를 일으키고 있다.
  1. I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
  2. I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
  3. A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
  4. Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
  5. Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
  1. 내가 이미 그들을 벌하기로 작정하였고 그들의 심판이 내 앞에 기록되었으니 그들이 행한 일을 내가 모르는 척 하지 않고 반드시 그 댓가를 받도록 할 것이다.
  2. 그들의 죄는 물론 그 조상들의 죄에 대해서도 내가 그들에게 벌을 내리겠다. 그들이 산 위의 이방 신전에서 분향하며 나를 모욕하였으므로 내가 그들의 지난 일을 철저하게 계산하여 그들이 행한 그대로 갚아 줄 것이다.
  3. 나쁜 포도송이에도 즙을 짤 만한 좋은 포도가 있으므로 사람들이 그것을 송이째 던져 버리지 않는 것처럼 나도 내 백성을 송두리째 멸망시키지 않고
  4. 이스라엘 땅을 소유할 내 백성을 살아 남게 하겠다. 나를 섬기는 택한 내 백성들이 거기서 살 것이다.
  5. 그들이 나를 섬기며 사론 평야와 아골 골짜기에서 그들의 소떼와 양떼를 먹일 것이다.
  1. Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
  2. Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
  3. Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
  4. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
  5. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
  1. 그러나 나 여호와를 버리고 나의 거룩한 산을 잊고 행운과 운명의 신인 갓과 므니 신을 섬기는 자들은
  2. 칼날에 죽임을 당하도록 하겠다. 이것은 내가 불러도 그들이 대답하지 않았으며 내가 말을 해도 그들이 듣지 않고 내 앞에서 악을 행하며 내가 기뻐하지 않는 일을 택하였기 때문이다.
  3. 그래서 내가 말하지만 나를 섬기는 종들은 먹고 마실 것이 풍성할 것이나 그들은 굶주리고 목마를 것이다. 내 종들은 즐거워할 것이지만 그들은 수치를 당할 것이며
  4. 내 종들은 기뻐서 노래할 것이나 그들은 슬픔과 절망 가운데서 통곡할 것이다.
  5. 내가 택한 백성들이 그들의 이름을 저줏거리로 사용할 것이니 나 여호와가 그들은 죽이고 내 종들에게는 새로운 이름을 줄 것이다.
  1. But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
  2. Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
  3. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
  4. Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
  5. And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
  1. 복을 구하는 자들이 진리의 하나님께 복을 구하며 맹세하는 자들이 신실한 하나님의 이름으로 맹세할 때가 올 것이다. 이것은 내가 지나간 일들을 잊어버릴 것이기 때문이다.'
  1. That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
 
  심판과 소망(65:17-66:24)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '보라! 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조한다. 이전 것은 기억되거나 생각나지 않을 것이다.
  2. 너희는 내가 창조하는 것을 보고 영원히 기뻐하며 즐거워하라. 내가 만들 새 예루살렘은 기쁨이 충만할 것이며 그 백성들은 행복할 것이다.
  3. 내가 예루살렘과 그 백성 때문에 기뻐할 것이니 다시는 거기서 우는 소리와 부르짖는 소리가 들리지 않을 것이다.
  4. 거기에는 며칠 살지 못하고 죽는 유아가 없을 것이며 제 명대로 다 살지 못하는 사람이 없을 것이다. 백 세에 죽는 사람도 젊어서 죽는 사람으로 여기고 백 세가 되지 못해서 죽는 사람은 저주를 받은 것으로 여길 것이다.
  5. 내 백성이 집을 짓고 거기에 살며 포도원을 가꾸어 그 포도를 먹을 것이다.
  1. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
  2. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
  3. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
  4. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
  5. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
  1. 그들이 지은 집에 다른 사람이 살지 않을 것이며 그들이 재배한 것을 타인이 먹지 않을 것이다. 이것은 그들이 나무처럼 오래 살며 자기들이 수고하여 얻은 것을 길이 누릴 것이기 때문이다.
  2. 그들의 수고가 헛되지 않을 것이며 그들의 자녀들이 재난을 만나지 않을 것이다. 내가 그들과 그 후손들을 축복하겠다.
  3. 그들이 나를 부르기도 전에 내가 대답할 것이며 그들이 말을 끝맺기도 전에 내가 그들의 기도에 응답할 것이다.
  4. 이리와 어린 양이 함께 먹고 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이며 뱀이 흙을 먹고 살 것이다. 이와 같이 나의 거룩한 산에서는 상하거나 해치는 일이 없을 것이다.'
  1. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
  2. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
  3. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
  4. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
 
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '하늘은 내 보좌이며 땅은 내 발판이다. 너희가 나를 위해 무슨 집을 지을 수 있겠느냐? 어느 곳이 내 안식처가 되겠느냐?
  2. 내가 우주를 창조하였으므로 이 모든 것이 생기게 되었다. '나는 겸손한 마음으로 크게 뉘우치며 내 말을 두렵게 여기는 자에게 은혜를 베푼다.
  3. 그러나 자기 멋대로 행하며 죄 짓는 일을 기뻐하는 자들은 소를 잡아 제사를 드려도 사람을 죽이는 것과 다름이 없으며 양으로 제사를 드려도 개의 목을 꺾는 것과 다름이 없다. 그들이 곡식을 드리는 소제는 돼지의 피를 드리는 것과 같고 그들이 분향하는 것은 우상을 찬양하는 것과 다름이 없다.
  4. 내가 그들이 받을 형벌을 택하고 그들이 무서워하는 재앙을 보낼 것이다. 이것은 내가 불러도 그들이 대답하지 않으며 내가 말하여도 그들이 듣지 않고 오직 내 앞에서 악을 행하며 내가 기뻐하지 않는 것을 택하였기 때문이다.'
  5. 여호와의 말씀을 두렵게 여기는 자들아, 여호와께서 하시는 말씀을 들어라. '너희 형제들이 너희를 미워하며 나를 섬긴다는 이유로 너희를 따돌리고 '여호와께서 영광을 받으시게 하여 우리가 너희 기뻐하는 모습을 보게 하라.'고 너희를 조롱하지만 그들은 수치를 당할 것이다.
  1. Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
  2. For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
  3. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
  4. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
  5. Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
  1. 성에서 들리는 왁자지껄한 소리와 성전의 요란한 소리를 들어 보아라. 그것은 여호와께서 자기 원수들을 벌하시는 소리이다.
  2. 시온이 해산하는 고통을 겪지도 않고 갑자기 아이를 낳은 여자처럼 되었으니
  3. 이런 일을 듣고 본 자가 누구인가? 어떻게 나라가 하루 아침에 탄생하겠으며 어떻게 한 민족이 순식간에 생기겠느냐? 그러나 시온은 산통을 겪는 즉시 그의 자녀들을 낳았다.
  4. 내 백성이 탄생할 때가 되었는데 네가 어찌 태를 닫아 그들이 태어나지 못하도록 하겠느냐? 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  5. 예루살렘을 사랑하는 자들아, 예루살렘과 함께 기뻐하고 즐거워하라. 예루살렘을 위해 슬퍼하는 자들아, 예루살렘과 함께 크게 즐거워하라.
  1. A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
  2. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
  3. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
  4. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
  5. Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
  1. 어머니의 품에 안긴 아이처럼 너희가 예루살렘의 풍성한 것을 마음껏 누리며 즐거워할 것이다.
  2. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 예루살렘의 평화를 강물처럼 넘치게 하고 온 세계의 재물이 너희에게 홍수처럼 쏟아져 들어오게 하겠다. 너희가 어머니의 젖을 빨며 그 무릎에 앉아 노는 어린아이와 같을 것이다.
  3. 어머니가 자기 자식을 위로하듯 내가 너희를 위로할 것이니 너희가 예루살렘에서 위로를 받을 것이다.
  4. 너희가 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 보면 너희 마음이 기뻐서 원기가 왕성해질 것이다. 그때 너희는 나 여호와가 나를 섬기는 종들을 돕고 내 원수들에게는 내가 분노하는 것을 알게 될 것이다.'
  5. 여호와께서 불을 가지고 오실 것이며 그의 수레는 회오리바람과 같을 것이다. 그가 무서운 분노를 터뜨리고 화염으로 책망하실 것이며
  1. That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
  2. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
  3. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
  4. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
  5. For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
  1. 불과 칼로 세상 모든 사람을 심판하실 것이니 많은 사람들이 죽임을 당할 것이다.
  2. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '자신을 거룩하게 구별하고 정결하게 하여 우상을 모셔 놓은 정원에 들어가서 돼지고기와 쥐고기와 그 밖의 다른 부정한 음식을 먹는 자는 망할 것이다.
  3. 나는 그들의 생각과 소행을 알고 있다. 때가 되면 내가 예루살렘을 칠 민족들을 모을 것이며 그들은 와서 내 영광을 볼 것이다.
  4. 내가 그들 가운데 놀라운 기적을 행하여 살아 남아 도망하는 자들을 스페인, 리비아, 활 쏘는 사람들이 많은 리디아, 두발, 그리이스, 그리고 내 명성을 듣지도 못하고 내 영광을 보지도 못한 먼 나라로 보내겠다. 그들이 나의 영광을 모든 민족에게 선포할 것이다.
  5. 너희 이스라엘 사람들이 제물용 곡식을 깨끗한 그릇에 담아 성전에 가져오듯이 그들이 온 세계에 흩어진 너희 모든 동족을 말과 수레와 마차와 노새와 낙타에 태워 예루살렘의 거룩한 산으로 데리고 와서 나 여호와에게 예물로 드릴 것이며
  1. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
  2. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
  3. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
  4. And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
  5. And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
  1. 나는 그들 중 일부를 택하여 제사장과 레위인을 삼을 것이다.
  2. 내가 만들 새 하늘과 새 땅이 내 앞에 항상 존속할 것이 분명한 것처럼 너희 후손과 너희 이름도 분명히 존속할 것이다.
  3. 매월 초하루와 안식일에 모든 민족들이 나에게 와서 예배할 것이며
  4. 그들은 나를 거역한 자들의 죽은 시체를 볼 것이다. 그들을 파먹는 벌레들이 죽지 않고 그들을 태우는 불도 꺼지지 않아 모든 사람에게 역겨움을 느끼게 할 것이다.'
  1. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
  2. For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
  3. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
  4. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
