- 지혜 있는 자는 지식이 돋보이게 말하지만 미련한 자는 어리석은 말만 지껄여댄다
- 여호와께서는 어디서든지 악한 사람과 선한 사람을 지켜보신다.
- 따뜻하고 부드러운 말은 생명 나무와 같아도 잔인한 말은 사람의 마음을 상하게 한다.
- 자기 아버지의 가르침을 무시하는 사람은 미련한 자요 자기 아버지가 타이를 때 듣는 사람은 슬기로운 자이다.
