레위기 21:1-22:33

 제사장들은 하나님의 영광과 거룩하심을 위해 존재하는 자들이었다. 그들은 하나님께서 명하신 규례를 백성들에게 직접 가르칠 의무가 있었고 성별된 생활을 해야 했다. 하나님께 드리는 성물은 흠 없는 것이어야 했으며, 부정한 자는 그것을 먹을 수 없었다.
  
  제사장에 관한 규례(21:1-21:24)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 아론의 자손 제사장들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '너희는 죽은 자를 만짐으로 자신을 더럽히지 말아라.
  2. 그러나 부모와 자녀와 형제와 그리고 시집가지 않은 누이가 죽었을 경우에는 그 시체를 만질 수 있다.
  3. (2절과 같음)
  4. 제사장은 백성의 지도자이므로 보통 사람과 같이 함부로 시체를 만져 자신을 더럽혀서는 안 된다.
  5. 제사장은 애도의 뜻으로 머리를 대머리처럼 밀거나 수염 양쪽 끝을 깎거나 살을 베어서는 안 된다.
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 'No one shall defile himself for a dead person among his people,
  2. except for his relatives who are nearest to him, his mother and his father and his son and his daughter and his brother,
  3. also for his virgin sister, who is near to him because she has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.
  4. 'He shall not defile himself as a relative by marriage among his people, and so profane himself.
  5. 'They shall not make any baldness on their heads, nor shave off the edges of their beards, nor make any cuts in their flesh.
  1. 너희는 나 하나님에게 거룩하고 내 이름을 더럽히거나 욕되게 하지 말아라. 너희는 나 여호와에게 제물을 바치는 제사장이므로 거룩해야 한다.
  2. 너희는 창녀나 순결을 잃은 여자나 이혼한 여자와 결혼하지 말아라. 너희는 나 여호와의 거룩한 제사장이다.'
  3. 여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하셨다. '너는 제사장을 거룩하게 하라. 그는 나 여호와에게 제물을 드리는 자이다. 너는 그를 거룩하게 여겨야 한다. 이것은 너희를 거룩하게 하는 나 여호와가 거룩하기 때문이다.
  4. 만일 제사장의 딸이 매춘 행위를 하여 자기 아버지를 욕되게 하였으면 그녀를 반드시 불로 태워 죽여라.
  5. 특별히 기름 부음을 받고 위임되어 예복을 입은 대제사장은 상중에라도 머리를 풀거나 옷을 찢어서는 안 되며
  1. 'They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they present the offerings by fire to the LORD, the food of their God; so they shall be holy.
  2. 'They shall not take a woman who is profaned by harlotry, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for he is holy to his God.
  3. 'You shall consecrate him, therefore, for he offers the food of your God; he shall be holy to you; for I the LORD, who sanctifies you, am holy.
  4. 'Also the daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by harlotry, she profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire.
  5. 'The priest who is the highest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil has been poured and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;
  1. 그 어떤 시체에도 가까이해서는 안 된다. 이것은 자기 부모가 죽었을 경우에도 마찬가지이다.
  2. 또 대제사장은 직무 중에 성소를 떠나서나 성소를 더럽혀서도 안 된다. 그는 내가 기름을 붓고 거룩하게 구별하여 세운 대제사장이기 때문이다. 나는 여호와이다.
  3. 그리고 대제사장은 반드시 처녀와 결혼해야 한다.
  4. 그는 과부나 이혼한 여자나 창녀를 아내로 삼아서는 안 되며 반드시 자기 지파 중의 처녀와 결혼해야 한다.
  5. 그렇지 않으면 그의 자녀들이 백성들 가운데서 더럽혀질 것이다. 나는 그를 제사장으로 거룩히 구별하여 세운 여호와이다.'
  1. nor shall he approach any dead person, nor defile himself even for his father or his mother;
  2. nor shall he go out of the sanctuary nor profane the sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am the LORD.
  3. 'He shall take a wife in her virginity.
  4. 'A widow, or a divorced woman, or one who is profaned by harlotry, these he may not take; but rather he is to marry a virgin of his own people,
  5. so that he will not profane his offspring among his people; for I am the LORD who sanctifies him.'"
  1. 또 여호와께서는 모세를 통하여 아론에게 말씀하셨다. '너희 자손 가운데 대대로 신체적 결함이 있는 자는 누구든지 나에게 제물을 드릴 수 없다.
  2. (16절과 같음)
  3. 그들은 소경, 절뚝발이, 코가 비뚤어진 자, 손가락과 발가락이 더 붙은 자,
  4. 손발이 부러진 자,
  5. 곱추, 난장이, 눈에 결함이 있는 자, 각종 피부병이 있는 자 그리고 고자이다.
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to Aaron, saying, 'No man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect shall approach to offer the food of his God.
  3. 'For no one who has a defect shall approach: a blind man, or a lame man, or he who has a disfigured face, or any deformed limb,
  4. or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,
  5. or a hunchback or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye or eczema or scabs or crushed testicles.
  1. 제사장 아론의 자손 중에 이와 같은 신체적 결함이 있는 자는 나에게 나아와서 제물을 드리지 못한다.
  2. 이런 자는 제사장이 먹는 거룩한 음식은 먹을 수 있으나
  3. 그에게는 신체적 결함이 있으므로 성소의 휘장이나 번제단에 가까이 가서는 안 된다. 그가 내 성소를 더럽힐 수 없는 것은 그 성소를 거룩하게 하는 자가 바로 나 여호와이기 때문이다.'
  4. 이것은 모세가 여호와께 받은 명령을 아론과 그의 아들들과 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 전한 것이다.
  1. 'No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the LORD'S offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God.
  2. 'He may eat the food of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy,
  3. only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, so that he will not profane My sanctuaries. For I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"
  4. So Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel.
 
  성물에 관한 규례(22:1-22:33)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 아론과 그의 아들들에게 말씀하셨다. '너희는 이스라엘 백성이 나에게 드리는 거룩한 예물을 함부로 다루어 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. 너희 자손 중에 누구든지 그 몸이 부정하면서도 이스라엘 백성이 구별하여 나에게 바친 거룩한 예물에 가까이하는 자는 내 앞에서 다시는 제사장 직분을 수행하지 못할 것이다. 나는 여호와이다.
  4. 아론의 자손 중에 문둥병에 걸렸거나 유출병이 있는 자는 누구든지 정결하게 될 때까지 거룩한 제물을 먹지 못한다. 그리고 시체를 만진 자와 설정하여 부정하게 된 자와
  5. 부정한 동물이나 사람에게 접촉한 자는
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the LORD.
  3. "Say to them, 'If any man among all your descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy gifts which the sons of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from before Me; I am the LORD.
  4. 'No man of the descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or who has a discharge, may eat of the holy gifts until he is clean And if one touches anything made unclean by a corpse or if a man has a seminal emission,
  5. or if a man touches any teeming things by which he is made unclean, or any man by whom he is made unclean, whatever his uncleanness;
  1. 저녁까지 부정하므로 목욕을 해야 한다. 그러나 목욕을 한 후에도 저녁까지는 거룩한 음식을 먹어서는 안 된다.
  2. 이런 제사장은 해가 져서 깨끗해진 다음에야 자기 음식인 거룩한 제물을 먹을 수 있다.
  3. 제사장은 저절로 죽었거나 맹수에게 찢겨 죽은 짐승의 고기를 먹어 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.
  4. 모든 제사장은 내가 지시한 규정을 잘 지켜야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 너희가 내 명령이 불순종한 죄로 죽음을 면치 못할 것이다. 나는 너희를 거룩하게 하는 여호와이다.
  5. 제사장의 가족 외에는 아무도 거룩한 음식을 먹을 수 없다. 그러므로 제사장을 찾아온 손님이나 그가 고용한 품꾼은 그 음식을 먹지 못한다.
  1. a person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his body in water.
  2. 'But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he shall eat of the holy gifts, for it is his food.
  3. 'He shall not eat an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it; I am the LORD.
  4. 'They shall therefore keep My charge, so that they will not bear sin because of it and die thereby because they profane it; I am the LORD who sanctifies them.
  5. 'No layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy gift.
  1. 그러나 제사장이 돈으로 산 종이나 그 종이 그 집에서 낳은 자식들은 제사장이 먹는 음식을 먹을 수 있다.
  2. 그리고 만일 제사장의 딸이 제사장이 아닌 사람에게 시집갔을 경우에는 그 음식을 먹을 수 없다.
  3. 그러나 그 제사장의 딸이 과부가 되었거나 이혼을 하여 자식 없이 친정으로 돌아와 살 경우에는 자기 아버지가 먹는 음식을 먹을 수 있다. 이런 경우를 제외하고서 제사장의 가족이 아닌 사람은 아무도 제사장이 먹는 거룩한 음식을 먹어서는 안 된다.
  4. 만일 제사장의 가족이 아닌 다른 사람이 모르고 제사장의 거룩한 음식을 먹었으면 그는 그 먹은 것에 5분의 1을 더하여 제사장에게 갚아야 한다.
  5. 너희 제사장들은 이스라엘 백성이 나에게 바치는 거룩한 음식을 아무나 먹게 하여 더럽히지 말아라.
  1. 'But if a priest buys a slave as his property with his money, that one may eat of it, and those who are born in his house may eat of his food.
  2. 'If a priest's daughter is married to a layman, she shall not eat of the offering of the gifts.
  3. 'But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and has no child and returns to her father's house as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food; but no layman shall eat of it.
  4. 'But if a man eats a holy gift unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy gift to the priest.
  5. 'They shall not profane the holy gifts of the sons of Israel which they offer to the LORD,
  1. 이 규정을 어기는 자는 누구든지 그 죄의 댓가로 형벌을 받게 될 것이다. 나는 그 음식을 거룩하게 하는 여호와이다.'
  2. 또 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 아론과 그의 아들들과 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 말씀하셨다. '이스라엘 자손이나 너희 가운데 사는 외국인이 서약을 지키기 위해서나 아니면 자원하는 마음으로 나에게 번제를 드리고자 하면
  3. (17절과 같음)
  4. 그 제물은 내가 기쁘게 받을 수 있도록 소나 양이나 염소 중에서 흠이 없는 수컷을 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 만일 너희가 흠이 있는 것을 바치면 내가 그 제물을 받지 않을 것이다.
  1. and so cause them to bear punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"
  2. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  3. "Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, 'Any man of the house of Israel or of the aliens in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their votive or any of their freewill offerings, which they present to the LORD for a burnt offering--
  4. for you to be accepted--it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.
  5. 'Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.
  1. 누구든지 서약을 지키기 위해서나 아니면 자원하는 마음으로 나에게 소나 양을 화목제물로 드리려고 하면 그 제물은 내가 기쁘게 받을 수 있도록 흠이 없는 완전한 것이어야 한다.
  2. 그러므로 눈 먼 것, 절름발이, 다리가 잘라진 것, 종기 난 것, 그리고 가려움증이나 각종 피부병에 걸린 것을 나 여호와의 단에 바치지 말아라.
  3. 지체가 너무 크게 자랐거나 너무 작게 자란 소나 양은 자원하여 드리는 예물로는 바칠 수 있다. 그러나 서약한 것을 갚기 위해 그것을 드리면 내가 받지 않을 것이다.
  4. 너희는 불알이 상했거나 으스러졌거나 터졌거나 잘라진 짐승을 나에게 바치지 말아라. 이런 일을 너희 땅에서 해서는 안 된다.
  5. 또 너희는 너희 가운데 사는 외국인에게서 이런 것을 받아 너희 하나님에게 제물로 바쳐서도 안 된다. 이런 것은 흠이 있거나 결점이 있기 때문에 내가 기쁘게 받지 않을 것이다.
  1. 'When a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD to fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.
  2. 'Those that are blind or fractured or maimed or having a running sore or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the LORD, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the LORD.
  3. 'In respect to an ox or a lamb which has an overgrown or stunted member, you may present it for a freewill offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted.
  4. 'Also anything with its testicles bruised or crushed or torn or cut, you shall not offer to the LORD, or sacrifice in your land,
  5. nor shall you accept any such from the hand of a foreigner for offering as the food of your God; for their corruption is in them, they have a defect, they shall not be accepted for you.'"
  1. 수소나 양이나 염소가 태어나면 7일 동안 그 어미와 같이 있게 하라. 그러나 8일 이후부터 그것을 나 여호와에게 불로 태워 바치면 내가 기쁘게 받겠다.
  2. (26절과 같음)
  3. 너희는 잡을 짐승이 암소이건 암양이건 그 어미와 새끼를 한날에 잡지 말아라.
  4. 너희는 나 여호와에게 감사제물을 드릴 때 내가 기쁘게 받을 수 있도록 드려라.
  5. 그리고 그 제물은 짐승을 잡는 그 날에 먹고 다음 날까지 조금도 남겨 두지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the LORD.
  3. "But, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not kill both it and its young in one day.
  4. "When you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.
  5. "It shall be eaten on the same day, you shall leave none of it until morning; I am the LORD.
  1. 너희는 내가 명령한 것을 준수하라. 나는 여호와이다.
  2. 너희는 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하지 말아라. 이스라엘의 모든 백성은 나를 거룩한 자로 알아야 한다. 나는 너희를 거룩하게 하는 여호와, 곧
  3. 너희 하나님이 되려고 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 여호와이다.'
  1. "So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the LORD.
  2. "You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be sanctified among the sons of Israel; I am the LORD who sanctifies you,
  3. who brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the LORD."
