역대상 9:1-10:14

 포로 귀환 후 예루살렘에 거주하게 된 지파들과 귀환한 제사장, 레위인들, 그리고 사울의 족보가 기록되어 있다. 하나님 앞에 범죄한 사울은 블레셋과의 전투에서 패배함으로써 스스로 자살하는 비극적인 최후를 맞았다.
  
  포로 귀환자들(9:1-9:34)    
 
  1. 모든 이스라엘 사람들은 각자 자기들의 집안 족보에 등록되었으며 이것은 이스라엘의 열왕기에 기록되어 있다. 유다 사람들은 우상을 섬기고 범죄했기 때문에 바빌로니아의 포로로 잡혀 갔다.
  2. 제일 먼저 자기들의 본 고장으로 돌아와서 살게 된 사람들은 일부 이스라엘 사람들, 제사장들, 레위 사람들, 그리고 성전 봉사자들이었다.
  3. 또 유다와 베냐민과 에브라임과 므낫세 지파 중에서 예루살렘에 돌아온 일부 사람들이 있었는데
  4. 그들 중 하나는 우대였다. 그는 유다의 아들인 베레스의 후손으로 암미훗의 아들이며 오므리의 손자이고 이므리의 증손이며 바니의 현손이었다.
  5. 그리고 실로 사람 중에서 예루살렘으로 돌아온 자는 실로의 맏아들 아사야와 그의 아들들이며
  1. So all Israel was enrolled by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. And Judah was carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
  2. Now the first who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites and the temple servants.
  3. Some of the sons of Judah, of the sons of Benjamin and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem:
  4. Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, from the sons of Perez the son of Judah.
  5. From the Shilonites were Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
  1. 세라 자손 중에서 돌아온 자는 여우엘과 그의 친척들이었다. 이들 유다 지파에서 돌아온 사람은 모두 690명이었다.
  2. 베냐민 지파 중에서 돌아온 사람은 핫스누아의 증손이며 호다위아의 손자이고 므술람의 아들인 살루,
  3. 여로함의 아들인 이브느야, 미그리의 손자이며 웃시의 아들인 엘라, 그리고 이브니야의 증손이며 르우엘의 손자이고 스바댜의 아들인 므술람이었다.
  4. 이들은 다 그 집안의 족장들이다. 베냐민 지파 중에서 본국으로 돌아온 사람은 모두 956명이었다.
  5. 제사장 중에서 본국으로 돌아온 사람은 여다야, 여호야립, 야긴
  1. From the sons of Zerah were Jeuel and their relatives, 690 of them.
  2. From the sons of Benjamin were Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,
  3. and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
  4. and their relatives according to their generations, 956. All these were heads of fathers' households according to their fathers' houses.
  5. From the priests were Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin,
  1. 아사랴이며 아사랴는 힐기야의 아들이요 므술람의 손자이며 사독의 증손이고 므라욧의 현손이며 성전 관리 책임자인 아히둡의 5대손이었다.
  2. 본국으로 돌아온 또 다른 두 제사장은 아다야와 마아새였다. 아다야는 여로함의 아들이며 바스홀의 손자이고 말기야의 증손이었으며, 마아새는 아디엘의 아들이고 야세라의 손자이며 므술람의 증손이요 므실레밋의 현손이며 임멜의 5대손이었다.
  3. 이 밖에 그들의 친척들도 돌아왔는데 이들은 다 그 집안의 족장들이며 성전의 제반 일에 재능이 있는 자들로서 그 수는 전부 1,760명이었다.
  4. 레위 지파 중에서 본국으로 돌아온 사람은 핫숩의 아들이며 아스리감의 손자이고 하사뱌의 증손이며 므라리의 후손인 스마야,
  5. 박박갈, 헤레스, 갈랄, 미가의 아들이며 시그리의 손자이고 아삽의 증손인 맛다냐,
  1. and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the chief officer of the house of God;
  2. and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
  3. and their relatives, heads of their fathers' households, 1,760 very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
  4. Of the Levites were Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
  5. and Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,
  1. 스마야의 아들이며 갈랄의 손자이고 여두둔의 증손인 오바댜, 그리고 아사의 아들이며 엘가나의 손자로서 느도바 지역이 살던 베레갸였다.
  2. 예루살렘에 살던 성전 문지기는 살룸, 악굽, 달몬, 아히만이었으며 살룸이 그들의 책임자였다.
  3. 이들은 모두 레위 사람들로서 왕이 잘 드나들어 '왕의 문'이라고 알려진 성전 동쪽 문을 지키던 사람들이었다.
  4. 살룸의 조상은 고레와 에비아삽과 고라로 거슬러 올라간다. 그와 그의 가까운 친척인 고라 자손들은 그들의 조상들이 성막을 지킨 것처럼 성소의 문을 지키는 일을 맡고 있었다.
  5. 엘르아살의 아들인 비느하스는 한때 이 문지기들의 감독관이었는데 여호와께서는 항상 그와 함께 하셨다.
  1. and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
  2. Now the gatekeepers were Shallum and Akkub and Talmon and Ahiman and their relatives (Shallum the chief
  3. being stationed until now at the king's gate to the east). These were the gatekeepers for the camp of the sons of Levi.
  4. Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent; and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entrance.
  5. Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them previously, and the LORD was with him.
  1. 그때 므셀레먀의 아들인 스가랴는 성막 입구를 지키는 책임을 맡고 있었다.
  2. 그 당시에 성막 문지기는 모두 212명이었으며 이들은 그들의 족보에 따라 자기들의 부락에서 뽑힌 자들이었다. 그리고 이 직분을 맡겨 준 사람은 다윗왕과 예언자 사무엘이었다.
  3. 그들과 그 자손들은 계속 여호와의 성전을 지켰다.
  4. 그들은 동, 서, 남, 북 사방의 성전 문을 지켰으며,
  5. 또 부락에 사는 그들의 친척들도 때때로 와서 일 주일씩 그들과 함께 있으면서 그들을 도왔다.
  1. Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the tent of meeting.
  2. All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were 212. These were enrolled by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their office of trust.
  3. So they and their sons had charge of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tent, as guards.
  4. The gatekeepers were on the four sides, to the east, west, north and south.
  5. Their relatives in their villages were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them;
  1. 그러나 문지기 대장인 네 명의 레위 사람들은 아주 중요한 직분을 맡아 하나님의 성전에 있는 방과 창고를 지켰다.
  2. 이와 같이 그들의 책임이 중요했기 때문에 그들은 성전 곁에 살면서 아침마다 성전 문을 열었다.
  3. 다른 레위 사람들은 성전에서 사용하는 여러 가지 그릇을 맡아 그것들을 들여가고 내어올 때 확인하는 일을 맡았고
  4. 또 어떤 사람들은 성소의 기구와 그리고 고운 밀가루, 포도주, 감람기름, 유향과 향품을 공급해 주는 일을 맡았으며
  5. 또 향품을 섞는 책임은 제사장들이 맡았었다.
  1. for the four chief gatekeepers who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
  2. They spent the night around the house of God, because the watch was committed to them; and they were in charge of opening it morning by morning.
  3. Now some of them had charge of the utensils of service, for they counted them when they brought them in and when they took them out.
  4. Some of them also were appointed over the furniture and over all the utensils of the sanctuary and over the fine flour and the wine and the oil and the frankincense and the spices.
  5. Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.
  1. 고라 자손의 레위 사람인 살롬의 장자 맛디댜는 제사용 과자를 굽는 일을 맡았으며
  2. 일부 고핫 집안 사람들은 안식일마다 차림상에 차려 놓을 거룩한 빵을 준비하는 일을 맡았었다.
  3. 그리고 성가대원들도 있었다. 이들은 모두 레위 집안의 족장들로서 예루살렘의 성전 구내에 살면서 밤낮 자기들의 직분에만 몰두하고 다른 일은 일체하지 않았다.
  4. 이상은 족보에 기록된 레위 집안의 족장들이며 이들은 모두 예루살렘에서 살았다.
  1. Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the responsibility over the things which were baked in pans.
  2. Some of their relatives of the sons of the Kohathites were over the showbread to prepare it every sabbath.
  3. Now these are the singers, heads of fathers' households of the Levites, who lived in the chambers of the temple free from other service; for they were engaged in their work day and night.
  4. These were heads of fathers' households of the Levites according to their generations, chief men, who lived in Jerusalem.
 
  사울의 족보와 죽음(9:35-10:14)    
 
  1. 여이엘은 기브온을 창설하고 그곳에 정착하였다. 그의 아내는 마아가였고
  2. 그의 장남은 압돈이며 그의 다른 아들은 술, 기스, 바알, 넬, 나답
  3. 그돌, 아효, 스가랴, 미글롯이었는데
  4. 미글롯은 시므아의 아버지였다. 그리고 이들은 모두 예루살렘에서 그들의 친척들 곁에 살았다.
  5. 넬은 기스를 낳았고 기스는 사울을, 사울은 요나단과 말기-수아와 아비나답과 에스-바알을,
  1. In Gibeon Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived, and his wife's name was Maacah,
  2. and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
  3. Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.
  4. Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. And they also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem opposite their other relatives.
  5. Ner became the father of Kish, and Kish became the father of Saul, and Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
  1. 요나단은 므비보셋을, 므비보셋은 미가를,
  2. 미가는 비돈과 멜렉과 다레아와 아하스를 낳았으며
  3. 아하스는 야라를, 야라는 알레멧과 아스마웻과 시므리를, 시므리는 모사를,
  4. 모사는 비느아를, 비느아는 르바야를, 르바야는 엘르아사를, 엘르아사는 아셀을 낳았다.
  5. 또 아셀에게는 여섯 아들이 있었다. 그들은 아스리감, 보그루, 이스마엘, 스아랴, 오바댜, 하난이었다.
  1. The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
  2. The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tahrea and Ahaz.
  3. Ahaz became the father of Jarah, and Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza,
  4. and Moza became the father of Binea and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
  5. Azel had six sons whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru and Ishmael and Sheariah and Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
 
 
  1. 블레셋 사람과 이스라엘 사람 사이에 전쟁이 있었다. 이 전투에서 이스라엘군은 블레셋 사람 앞에서 도망하다가 길보아산에서 수없이 죽어 쓰러졌다.
  2. 또 블레셋 사람들은 사울과 그의 아들들을 추격하여 사울의 아들 요나단과 아비나답과 말기-수아도 죽였다.
  3. 이처럼 사울의 주변에 싸움이 치열하자 그는 적군의 화살에 맞아 심한 부상을 입었다.
  4. 이때 사울은 자기 경호병에게 '너는 칼을 뽑아 저 블레셋 이방인들이 나를 잡아 괴롭히기 전에 어서 나를 죽여라.' 하고 명령하였다. 그러나 그 경호병이 두려워서 감히 그를 죽이지 못하자 사울은 자기 칼을 집어 칼 끝을 배에 대고 그 위에 엎드러졌다.
  5. 그러자 그 경호병은 왕이 죽은 것을 보고 자기도 칼을 배에 대고 엎드러져 죽었다.
  1. Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled before the Philistines and fell slain on Mount Gilboa.
  2. The Philistines closely pursued Saul and his sons, and the Philistines struck down Jonathan, Abinadab and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul.
  3. The battle became heavy against Saul, and the archers overtook him; and he was wounded by the archers.
  4. Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised will come and abuse me." But his armor bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell on it.
  5. When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.
  1. 이렇게 해서 사울과 그의 세 아들이 함께 죽어 사울의 집안은 하루 아침에 망하고 말았다.
  2. 이때 이스르엘 계곡에 살던 이스라엘 사람들은 자기들의 군대가 전쟁에 패하여 도주했다는 것과 또 사울과 그의 아들들이 전사했다는 말을 듣고 자기들의 성을 버리고 도망하였다. 그래서 블레셋 사람들이 그 곳에 들어와서 살았다.
  3. 그 다음 날 블레셋 사람들은 죽은 자들의 소지품을 약탈하러 왔다가 길보아산에서 사울과 그 아들들의 시체를 발견하였다.
  4. 그래서 그들은 사울의 갑옷을 벗기고 그의 머리를 자른 다음 블레셋 땅 곳곳에 사람을 보내 그 소식을 그들의 우상과 백성에게 전하도록 하였다.
  5. 그리고서 그들은 사울의 갑옷을 그들의 신전에 갖다 두고 그의 머리는 다곤 신전에 매달아 두었다.
  1. Thus Saul died with his three sons, and all those of his house died together.
  2. When all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; and the Philistines came and lived in them.
  3. It came about the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
  4. So they stripped him and took his head and his armor and sent messengers around the land of the Philistines to carry the good news to their idols and to the people.
  5. They put his armor in the house of their gods and fastened his head in the house of Dagon.
  1. 그때 길르앗의 야베스 사람들은 블레셋 사람들이 사울에게 행한 모든 일을 듣게 되었다.
  2. 그래서 그들 중 가장 용감한 사람들이 가서 사울과 그 아들들의 시체를 가져다가 야베스에 있는 상수리나무 아래에 장사하고 7일 동안 금식하며 슬퍼하였다.
  3. 사울이 죽은 것은 여호와께 범죄했기 때문이었다. 그는 여호와의 명령에 불순종하고 영매를 찾아다니면서도
  4. 여호와에게는 물어 보지 않았다. 그래서 여호와께서는 그를 죽이고 그의 나라를 이새의 아들 다윗에게 넘겨 주셨다.
  1. When all Jabesh-gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
  2. all the valiant men arose and took away the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons and brought them to Jabesh, and they buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
  3. So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against the LORD, because of the word of the LORD which he did not keep; and also because he asked counsel of a medium, making inquiry of it,
  4. and did not inquire of the LORD. Therefore He killed him and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.
 
  군급(窘急, 10:3)  사정이 곤란하고 다급함  
  다곤( 10:10)  상체는 사람 형상을, 하체는 물고기 형상을 한 우상으로 블레셋인이 숭배하던 신
