마가복음 12:38-13:13

 예수께서는 성전에서 한 가난한 과부가 헌금을 정성껏 드리는 것을 보시고 칭찬하셨다. 성전을 나가신 후 성전 파괴에 대한 예언과 재난 때의 징조를 말씀하셨다.
  
  과부의 헌금(12:38-12:44)    
 
  1. And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
  2. And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
  3. Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
  4. And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
  5. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
  1. 예수께서는 가르치시면서 이런 말씀도 하셨다. "율법학자들을 조심하여라. 그들은 기다란 예복을 걸치고 나다니며 장터에서 인사받기를 좋아하고
  2. 회당에서는 가장 높은 자리를 찾으며 잔칫집에 가면 제일 윗자리에 앉으려 한다.
  3. 또한 과부들의 가산을 등쳐먹으면서 남에게 보이려고 기도는 오래 한다. 이런 사람이야말로 그만큼 더 엄한 벌을 받을 것이다."
  4. 예수께서 헌금궤 맞은편에 앉아서 사람들이 헌금궤에 돈을 넣는 것을 바라보고 계셨다. 그 때 부자들은 여럿이 와서 많은 돈을 넣었는데
  5. 가난한 과부 한 사람은 와서 겨우 렙톤 두 개를 넣었다. 이것은 동전 한 닢 값어치의 돈이었다.
  1. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
  2. For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
  1. 그것을 보시고 예수께서는 제자들을 불러 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "나는 분명히 말한다. 저 가난한 과부가 어느 누구보다도 더 많은 돈을 헌금궤에 넣었다.
  2. 다른 사람들은 다 넉넉한 데서 얼마씩 넣었지만 저 과부는 구차하면서도 있는 것을 다 털어넣었으니 생활비를 모두 바친 셈이다."
 
  재난의 때(13:1-13:13)    
 
  1. And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
  2. And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
  3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
  4. Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
  5. And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
  1. 예수께서 성전을 떠나 나오실 때에 제자 한 사람이 "선생님, 저것 보십시오. 저 돌이며 건물이며 얼마나 웅장하고 볼 만합니까?" 하고 말하였다.
  2. 예수께서는 "지금은 저 웅장한 건물들이 보이겠지만 그러나 저 돌들이 어느 하나도 제자리에 그대로 얹혀 있지 못하고 다 무너지고 말 것이다." 하고 말씀하셨다.
  3. 예수께서 성전 건너편 올리브 산에 앉아 성전을 바라보고 계실 때에 베드로와 야고보와 요한과 안드레아가 따로 찾아와서
  4. "그런 일이 언제 일어나겠습니까? 그리고 그런 일이 다 이루어질 무렵에는 어떤 징조가 나타나겠습니까? 저희에게 말씀해 주십시오." 하고 말하였다.
  5. 예수께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "아무에게도 속지 않도록 조심하여라.
  1. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
  2. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
  3. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
  4. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
  5. And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
  1. 장차 많은 사람이 내 이름을 내세우며 나타나서 '내가 그리스도다!' 하고 떠들어대면서 많은 사람들을 속일 것이다.
  2. 또 여러 번 난리도 겪고 전쟁 소문도 듣게 될 것이다. 그러나 당황하지 마라. 그런 일은 반드시 일어날 터이지만 그것으로 끝나는 것은 아니다.
  3. 한 민족이 일어나 딴 민족을 치고 한 나라가 일어나 딴 나라를 칠 것이며 또 곳곳에서 지진이 일어나고 흉년이 들 터인데 이런 일들은 다만 고통의 시작일 뿐이다."
  4. "정신을 바짝 차려라. 너희는 법정에 끌려갈 것이며 회당에서 매를 맞고 또 나 때문에 총독들과 임금들 앞에 서서 나를 증언하게 될 것이다.
  5. 우선 복음이 모든 민족에게 전파되어야 한다.
  1. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
  2. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
  3. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
  1. 그리고 사람들이 너희를 붙잡아 법정에 끌고 갈 때에 무슨 말을 할까 하고 미리 걱정하지 마라. 너희가 해야 할 말을 그 시간에 일러주실 것이니 그대로 말하여라. 말하는 이는 너희가 아니라 성령이시다.
  2. 형제끼리 서로 잡아 넘겨 죽게 할 것이며 아비도 제 자식을 또한 그렇게 하고 자식들도 제 부모를 고발하여 죽게 할 것이다.
  3. 그리고 너희는 나 때문에 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이다. 그러나 끝까지 참는 사람은 구원을 받을 것이다."
