여호수아 15:1-16:10

 먼저 제비뽑은 유다 지파는 가나안 남부의 넓은 지역을 분배받았다. 갈렙은 헤브론을 정복하여 기업을 얻었다. 다음으로 요셉의 자손인 에브라임 지파가 영토를 분배받았다.
  
  유다 지파의 땅(15:1-15:63)    
 
  1. This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
  2. And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
  3. And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
  4. From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
  5. And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
  1. 유다 후손의 지파에게 갈래를 따라 돌아온 몫은 씬 사막으로서 에돔과 접경하고 남쪽을 향해 내려가다가 그 남단까지 이른다.
  2. 다시 말하면 남쪽 경계는 짠물호수 끝, 그 호수 남쪽 물굽이에서 시작하여,
  3. 아크라삠 비탈 남쪽으로 뻗어 씬을 지나서 카데스바르네아 남쪽으로 올라간다. 거기에서 헤스론을 거쳐 아딸로 올라가다가 다시 카르카로 꺾인다.
  4. 거기에서 아스몬을 지나 이집트 개울로 나가 바다에 이르러 경계가 끝난다. 이것이 너희 남쪽 경계가 될 것이다.
  5. 짠물호수가 동쪽 경계를 이루는데 요르단 강이 끝나는 지점까지다. 북쪽 경계선은 요르단 강이 끝나는 호수 물굽이에서 시작된다.
  1. And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
  2. And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
  3. And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
  4. And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:
  5. And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
  1. 그 경계는 거기에서 벳호글라로 올라가 베다라바 북쪽을 지난다. 그 경계는 르우벤의 아들 보한의 바위까지 올라간다.
  2. 그 경계는 아골 골짜기로부터 드빌로 올라가서 개울 남쪽에 있는 아둠밈 언덕 맞은편 길갈로 향한다. 그 경계는 다시 엔세메스를 거쳐 엔로겔로 빠지며
  3. 벤힌놈 골짜기를 끼고 여부스인의 산 중턱에 있는 예루살렘 남쪽에 이르고 또 서쪽으로 가다가 힌놈 골짜기 맞은편에 있는 산마루로 올라가 르바임 계곡 북단에 이른다.
  4. 그 산마루로부터 경계는 다시 넵도아 샘터로 꺾여 에브론 산 성들 쪽으로 빠졌다가 다시 키럇여아림이라고 하는 바알라로 꺾인다.
  5. 거기 바알라에서 서편으로 세일 산을 돌아 크살론이라고 하는 여아림 산 북쪽 중턱을 지난다. 거기에서 벳세메스로 내려가 딤나를 거쳐
  1. And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
  2. And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
  3. And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
  4. And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
  5. And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
  1. 에크론 북쪽 산 중턱으로 빠진다. 거기에서 시끄론쪽으로 돌아 바알라 산을 거쳐 얍느엘로 빠진다. 경계는 거기에서 바다에 이르러 끝난다.
  2. 대해 해안선이 서쪽 경계를 이룬다. 이상이 유다 후손의 각 갈래에 배당된 땅의 사면 경계이다.
  3. 여분네의 아들 갈렙은 야훼께서 여호수아에게 내린 명령을 따라 유다 후손 틈에서 한몫을 차지하게 되었는데 여호수아는 그에게 헤브론이라고 하는 키럇아르바를 주었다. 아르바는 아낙인의 조상이었다.
  4. 갈렙은 아낙의 세 갈래 후손인 세새와 아히만과 탈매를 그 곳에서 몰아냈다. 그들은 아낙에게서 난 자손들이었다.
  5. 거기에서 그는 드빌의 주민들을 쳐 올라갔다. 드빌의 예전 이름은 키럇세벨이었다.
  1. And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
  2. And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
  3. And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
  4. Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
  5. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
  1. 갈렙은 키럇세벨을 쳐서 함락시키는 사람에게 자기 딸 악사를 아내로 주겠다고 선언했는데,
  2. 그 성을 함락시킨 사람은 바로 갈렙의 조카 오드니엘이었다. 그의 아버지 크나즈는 갈렙과 동기간이었다. 갈렙은 그에게 자기의 딸 악사를 아내로 주었다.
  3. 신부가 시집으로 갈 때가 되어, 신랑은 신부를 시켜 아버지에게 밭을 달라고 하였다. 신부가 나귀에서 내리자 갈렙은 무엇을 원하느냐고 물었다.
  4. "저에게 선물을 주십시오. 네겝 지방으로 시집 보내시는 이 마당에 저에게 샘을 몇 개 주십시오." 이 말을 듣고 그의 아버지는 윗샘과 아랫샘을 주었다.
  5. 이상이 유다 후손 지파에게 갈래를 따라 돌아간 유산이다.
  1. And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
  2. And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
  3. And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
  4. Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
  5. And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
  1. 네겝 쪽으로 에돔과 접경하고 있는 유다 후손 지파 남단 성읍들은 아래와 같다. 캅스엘, 에델, 야굴,
  2. 키나, 디모나, 아드아다,
  3. 케데스, 하솔, 잇난,
  4. 지브, 텔렘, 브알롯,
  5. 하솔하다따, 크리욧헤스론 곧 하솔,
  1. Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
  2. And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
  3. And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,
  4. Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
  5. And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
  1. 아맘, 세마, 몰라다,
  2. 하살가따, 헤스몬, 벳벨렛,
  3. 하살수알, 브엘세바, 비즈요드야,
  4. 바알라, 이임, 에셈,
  5. 엘돌랏, 그실, 호르마,
  1. And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
  2. And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
  3. And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
  4. And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
  5. Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
  1. 시글락, 마드만나, 산산나,
  2. 르바옷, 실힘, 엔림몬. 이렇게 모두 스물아홉 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들이다.
  3. 야산 지대에 있는 성읍은 아래와 같다. 에스다올, 소라, 아스나,
  4. 자노아, 엔간님, 다부아, 에남,
  5. 야르뭇, 아둘람, 소코, 아제카,
  1. And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
  2. Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
  3. And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
  4. Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
  5. And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
  1. 사아라임, 아디다임, 그데라, 그데로다임. 이렇게 열네 성과 그 변두리 천막촌.
  2. 스난, 하다사, 믹달가드,
  3. 딜르안, 미스베, 욕드엘,
  4. 라기스, 보스캇, 에글론,
  5. 가뽄, 라마스, 기들리스,
  1. And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
  2. Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
  3. And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
  4. And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
  5. Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
  1. 그데롯, 벳다곤, 나아마, 막케다. 이렇게 열여섯 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  2. 리브나, 에델, 아산,
  3. 입다, 아스나, 느십,
  4. 크일라, 악집, 마레사. 이렇게 아홉 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  5. 에크론과 그 변두리 촌락과 천막촌들.
  1. From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
  2. Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
  3. And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
  4. And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,
  5. And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
  1. 에크론과 바다 사이의 땅, 아스돗 경계에 이르는 전지역의 천막촌들.
  2. 아스돗과 그 변두리 촌락과 천막촌들. 가자와 그 변두리 촌락과 천막촌들. 이집트 개울과 대해가 경계를 이룬다.
  3. 산악 지대에 있는 성읍은 아래와 같다. 사밀, 야띨, 소코,
  4. 단나, 키럇산나 곧 드빌,
  5. 아납, 에스드모, 아님,
  1. And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
  2. Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
  3. And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,
  4. And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
  5. Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
  1. 고센, 홀른, 길로. 이렇게 열한 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  2. 아랍, 두마, 에스안,
  3. 야님, 벳다부아, 아베카,
  4. 훔타, 키럇아르바 곧 지금의 헤브론, 시올. 이렇게 아홉 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  5. 마온, 가르멜, 지브, 유타,
  1. And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
  2. Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
  3. Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,
  4. And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
  5. Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
  1. 이즈르엘, 욕드암, 자노아,
  2. 카인, 기브아, 딤나. 이렇게 열 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  3. 할훌, 벳술, 그돌,
  4. 마아랏, 벳아놋, 엘드콘. 이렇게 여섯 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  5. 키럇바알 곧 지금의 키럇여아림, 라빠 이 두 성과 그 변두리 천막촌들.
  1. In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,
  2. And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.
  3. As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
  1. 사막 지대에 있는 성읍은 아래와 같다. 베다라바, 미띤, 스가가,
  2. 닙산, 소금성, 엔게디. 이렇게 여섯 성과 그 변두리 천막촌.
  3. 그러나 유다 후손들은 예루살렘에 사는 여부스족은 몰아내지 못하였다. 그래서 여부스족은 이날까지 유다 후손들과 함께 예루살렘에 섞여 살고 있다.
 
  에브라임 지파의 땅(16:1-16:10)    
 
  1. And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
  2. And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
  3. And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
  4. So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
  5. And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
  1. 요셉 후손들에게 돌아간 몫은 동쪽으로 예리고 가까이 요르단 강에서 시작한다. 예리고에서 베델 산악 지대로 사막을 거쳐 올라간다.
  2. 루즈라고도 하는 그 베델에서 시작하여 아타롯에 있는 하르키족의 경계를 지나
  3. 서쪽으로 야블렛족의 경계로 내려가 아래쪽 벳호론 경계를 지나 게젤에 이르렀다가 바다로 빠진다.
  4. 요셉의 아들 므나쎄와 에브라임은 아래와 같이 유산을 받았다.
  5. 에브라임 후손도 갈래를 따라 영토를 유산으로 받았는데 그 경계는 동쪽 아타롯아달에서 시작하여 윗벳호론에 이른다.
  1. And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
  2. And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
  3. The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
  4. And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
  5. And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
  1. 그 경계는 거기에서 바다로 빠졌다가 북쪽 믹므닷에서 동쪽으로 돌아서 다아낫실로에 이르러 야노하 동쪽을 지난다.
  2. 다시 야노하에서 아타롯과 나아라로 내려가 예리고를 스쳐 요르단 강으로 빠진다.
  3. 또 그 경계는 다부아에서 서쪽으로 나가 가나 골짜기를 지나 바다로 빠진다. 이상이 에브라임 후손 지파가 그 갈래를 따라 받은 유산이다.
  4. 그 밖에도 에브라임 후손에게는 므나쎄 후손의 유산 가운데서 따로 떼어낸 성과 천막들이 있었다.
  5. 게젤에 사는 가나안 사람들은 쫓겨나지 않은 채 이날까지 에브라임에 섞여 살면서 노동을 하고 있다.
