열왕기상 7:1-7:51

 성전 건축을 마친 솔로몬은 이어 자신의 궁전을 건축하였고 성전에 필요한 여러 가지 기구들을 제작하였다.
  
  왕궁 건축(7:1-7:12)    
 
  1. But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
  2. He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
  3. And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.
  4. And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.
  5. And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
  1. 솔로몬은 자기의 궁을 짓는 데 십삼 년 걸렸다.
  2. 그는 레바논의 수풀궁을 지었는데 그 길이는 백 척, 나비는 오십 척, 높이는 삼십 척이었다. 네 줄로 된 송백나무 기둥 위에다 송백나무 기둥 머리를 얹었고
  3. 그 기둥들 위에 있는 곁방들 위 또한 송백나무 널빤지로 덮었는데
  4. 창살로 꾸민 창과 창이 세 겹으로 포개져 석 줄이 되어, 한 줄에 열다섯 개씩 마흔다섯 개였다.
  5. 문과 문설주들은 네모꼴이었으며 창과 창은 세 겹으로 포개졌다.
  1. And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.
  2. Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
  3. And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.
  4. All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.
  5. And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
  1. 그는 기둥홀도 지었는데 그 길이는 오십 척, 나비는 삼십 척이었다. 앞쪽에는 기둥으로 현관이 마련되었고 그 앞에 차양이 있었다.
  2. 또 재판홀도 지었는데 그 곳은 판결을 내릴 때 앉는 곳이다. 이 재판홀은 바닥에서 들보까지 송백나무로 꾸몄다.
  3. 그는 그 홀의 뒷쪽 다른 뜰에 자기가 살 궁을 같은 식으로 지었다. 솔로몬은 또 그가 아내로 맞아 데려온 파라오의 딸을 위해서도 같은 궁을 지어주었다.
  4. 이 모든 것이 치수대로 재고 안팎을 톱으로 끊은 귀한 돌들로 만들어졌다. 기초에서 갓돌까지, 또 야훼의 전의 뜰에서 큰 뜰에까지 이런 식으로 지었다.
  5. 기초는 여덟 척에서 열 척 나가는 값진 큰 돌로 놓았다.
  1. And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
  2. And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
  1. 그리고 그 위는 치수대로 미리 다듬은 귀한 돌과 송백나무로 꾸몄다.
  2. 큰 뜰의 사방은 다듬은 돌 세 줄과 송백나무 들보 한 줄로 되었고 야훼의 전의 안뜰과 입구의 현관도 그와 같이 꾸몄다.
 
  성전 기구 제작(7:13-7:51)    
 
  1. And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
  2. He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
  3. For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
  4. And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
  5. And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
  1. 솔로몬 왕은 사람을 보내어 띠로에서 히람을 초대해 왔다.
  2. 그는 납달리 지파에 속한 한 과부의 아들이었는데 그의 아버지는 띠로 사람으로서 청동 기술공이었다. 그는 청동을 가지고 하는 일에 관해 전문 지식과 기술을 갖고 있었는데 솔로몬 왕에게 와서 모든 청탁받은 일을 하였다.
  3. 그가 청동을 녹여 기둥 둘을 만들었는데 한 기둥의 높이는 십팔 척, 둘레는 십이 척이었다. 다른 기둥도 마찬가지였다.
  4. 그는 또 청동을 녹여 기둥 머리 둘을 만들어 그 기둥들의 꼭대기에 두었다. 한 기둥 머리의 높이는 다섯 척, 다른 기둥 머리의 높이도 다섯 척이었다.
  5. 그 다음 바둑판 무늬로 망 둘을 떠서 기둥 꼭대기에 있는 기둥 머리에 사슬로 늘여뜨렸는데 각 기둥 머리에 한 개씩 늘여뜨렸다.
  1. And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
  2. And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
  3. And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
  4. And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
  5. And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
  1. 또 한 기둥 꼭대기에 있는 기둥 머리를 덮기 위하여 그물에다 두 줄로 석류를 늘여뜨렸다. 다른 기둥 머리에도 같은 식으로 하였다.
  2. 기둥 꼭대기의 기둥 머리는 나리꽃 모양이었는데 그 수가 모두 사백 개였다.
  3. 기둥 머리는 두 기둥 위에 뿐만 아니라 그물 곁에 둥글게 튀어나온 데에도 있었다. 각 기둥마다 두 줄로 석류가 이백 개 늘여뜨려져 있었다.
  4. 그는 본전 현관에 기둥을 세우고 오른쪽에 세운 것을 야긴, 왼쪽에 세운 것을 보아스라 명명하였다.
  5. 기둥 꼭대기에 나리꽃 모양으로 만든 것을 얹으니 이상으로써 기둥을 세우는 일이 끝났다.
  1. And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
  2. And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
  3. It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
  4. And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
  5. And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
  1. 그 다음 그는 바다 모형을 둥글게 만들었다. 한 가장자리에서 다른 가장자리에까지 직경이 십 척, 높이가 다섯 척, 둘레가 삼십 척 되었다.
  2. 그 가장자리 테 아래로 삼십 척 되는 호리병나무가 바다를 빙 두르고 있었다. 이 호리병은 두 줄로 되었는데 바다 모형을 부어 만들 때 함께 부어 만든 것이었다.
  3. 이 바다는 황소 열두 마리 위에 서 있었는데 세 마리는 북, 세 마리는 서, 세 마리는 남, 세 마리는 동을 바라보고 있었다. 바다가 이 소들 위에 놓였고 소의 꽁무니는 안쪽을 향해 있었다.
  4. 바다 모형의 두께는 한 뼘이며 그 가장자리 테는 나리꽃 무늬로 잔의 테처럼 만들어졌다. 이 바다 모형에는 물 이천 말을 담을 수 있었다.
  5. 그는 또 청동으로 받침대를 열 개 만들었다. 그 대는 각각 가로 세로 사 척 길이에 폭이 삼 척이었는데
  1. And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:
  2. And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
  3. And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.
  4. And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.
  5. And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
  1. 그 구조는 다음과 같았다. 그것들은 판자를 갖고 있는데 그 판자는 틀에 끼워져 있다.
  2. 그리고 틀에 끼워져 있는 판자 위에는 사자, 소, 거룹들이 그려져 있고 또 그 사자와 소의 위 아래에는 화환의 무늬가 새겨져 있다.
  3. 그 받침대 하나에 청동으로 된 바퀴 네 개와 바퀴축 그리고 다리가 네 개 있어 물두멍 아래 받침두리들을 괴었는데 그 받침두리들은 화환 무늬 맞은편에 녹여 부어 만든 것이다.
  4. 그 아가리는 받침두리 안에서 위에까지 둥글게 같은 모양으로 되어 있다. 그러나 그 판자들은 둥글지 않고 네모가 져 있다.
  5. 네 바퀴는 판자들 아래 있는데 바퀴축들은 그 받침대 속에 들어 있고 바퀴의 높이는 일 척 반이다.
  1. And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.
  2. And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.
  3. And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
  4. For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
  5. After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
  1. 그 바퀴는 병거바퀴와 같은 모양이며 바퀴축, 테두리, 바퀴살, 축을 감싸는 통들은 모두 녹여 부어 만든 것이다.
  2. 받침대 네 귀퉁이에는 받침두리가 네 개 있는데, 그 받침대에서 받침두리가 잇달아 나와 있다.
  3. 받침대 꼭대기에는 반 척 높이의 받침두리가 빙 둘러 있고 또 받침대 아래에는 바퀴축들과 판자들이 잇달아 나와 있다.
  4. 바퀴축들과 판자 위에는 각각 그 빈자리를 찾아 거룹들과 사자들, 종려나무들의 모양이 조각되었고 둘레에는 꽃다발 모양이 새겨졌다.
  5. 이런 식으로 받침대 열 개를 만들었는데 모두 같은 치수, 같은 모양으로 녹여 부어 만들었다.
  1. Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
  2. And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.
  3. And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD:
  4. The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
  5. And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
  1. 또 그는 청동으로 물두멍 열 개를 만들었는데 물두멍 하나에는 목욕할 물을 사십 말 담았다. 물두멍 하나의 직경은 사 척이었다. 받침대 열 개에 물두멍 하나씩 있었다.
  2. 받침대 다섯 개는 전의 오른편 옆에, 또 다섯 개는 전의 왼편 옆에 놓아두었고 바다 모형은 전의 오른편 옆에서 조금 떨어진 동남쪽 모퉁이에 두었다.
  3. 히람은 또 물독과 삽과 물뿌리개를 만들었다. 이렇게 히람은 솔로몬 왕을 위하여 야훼의 전 짓는 일을 마쳤다.
  4. 기둥 둘, 기둥 꼭대기에 얹는 기둥 머리 둘, 기둥 꼭대기에 얹은 기둥 머리를 씌우는 그물 둘,
  5. 각 그물에 석류나무 두 줄씩 해서 사백 개,
  1. And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
  2. And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
  3. And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
  4. In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
  5. And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
  1. 받침대 열 개, 그 받침대 위에 놓는 물두멍 열 개,
  2. 바다 모형 하나, 그 바다 모형을 받칠 황소 열두 마리,
  3. 물독과 삽과 물뿌리개들, 히람이 솔로몬 왕을 위하여 만든 이 모든 야훼의 전의 기구들은 윤이 나는 청동으로 만든 것들이었다.
  4. 왕은 요르단 평야 수꼿과 사레단 사이의 진흙바닥에서 그것들을 녹여 부어 만들었다.
  5. 솔로몬은 이 기구들을 달아보지 않았는데, 너무나 많기 때문이었다. 그래서 청동의 무게는 아무도 모른다.
  1. And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,
  2. And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
  3. And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.
  4. So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.
  1. 이렇게 솔로몬은 야훼의 전에 있는 온갖 기구를 만들었다. 금제단, 야훼 앞에 바칠 금으로 만든 제사 상,
  2. 밀실 앞 오른쪽에 다섯 개, 왼쪽에 다섯 개씩 둘 금등잔들, 금으로 만든 꽃장식, 등, 부젓가락들,
  3. 순금쟁반, 심지 자르는 가위, 물뿌리개, 향 받치는 대접, 불 나르는 화로, 전의 가장 깊숙한 지성소의 문과 성전 현관문에 달 금돌쩌귀들.
  4. 이렇게 솔로몬 왕이 시작한 야훼의 전 공사는 끝났다. 솔로몬 왕은 그의 선친 다윗이 야훼께 바친 물건들, 은, 금, 기구들을 가져다가 야훼의 전 보물 창고에 넣어두었다.
