- O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
- Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
- LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
- How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
- They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

- 일어나소서, 세상을 재판하시어 교만한 자에게 마땅한 벌을 내리소서.
- 악인들이 언제까지, 야훼여, 악인들이 언제까지 만세를 부르리이까?
- 그들은 악담하며 큰소리치고 악한 짓을 하며 스스로 거만합니다.
- 야훼여, 저희가 당신의 백성을 짓밟으며, 당신의 택하신 민족을 괴롭히옵니다.

- They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
- Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
- Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
- He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
- He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

- 과부와 나그네를 목 조르고, 고아들을 살해하며
- 말하기를, "야훼는 안 본다. 야곱의 하느님이 알지 못한다." 합니다.
- 이 미련한 자들아, 정신차려라. 어리석은 자들아, 언제 깨닫겠느냐?
- 귀를 붙여주신 분이 듣지 못하시겠느냐? 눈을 끼워주신 분이 보지 못하시겠느냐?
- 만백성을 교훈하시는 분이 벌하지 못하시겠느냐? 사람을 가르치시는 분이 그것을 모르시겠느냐?

- The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

- 야훼는 사람의 생각을 다 아시고 그것이 바람결 같음도 알고 계신다.
