사도행전 20:1-20:38

 에베소를 떠난 바울은 마게도냐의 빌립보, 드로아, 밀레도에 이르는 전도 여행을 계속하였고, 밀레도에서 에베소 장로들을 향하여 마지막 고별 설교를 하였다.
  
  마게도냐, 드로아, 밀레도에서의 사역(20:1-20:16)    
 
  1. And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
  2. And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,
  3. And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.
  4. And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
  5. These going before tarried for us at Troas.
  1. 그 소동이 가라앉은 뒤에 바울로는 신도들을 불러 격려한 다음, 작별 인사를 하고 그 곳을 떠나 마케도니아로 갔다.
  2. 바울로는 지나는 길에 그 지방의 교우들을 만나 여러 가지로 격려하고 그리스로 갔다.
  3. 거기에서 석 달을 지낸 뒤에 배를 타고 시리아로 건너가려고 하였으나 자기를 해치려는 유다인들의 음모를 알아채고 다시 마케도니아를 거쳐 본국으로 돌아가기로 작정하였다.
  4. 그와 동행한 사람은 베레아 사람 비로의 아들 소바드로와 데살로니카 사람 아리스다르코와 세군도, 데르베 사람 가이오와 디모테오, 아시아 사람 디키고와 드로피모 등이었다.
  5. 그들은 트로아스에 먼저 가서 우리 일행을 기다리고 있었고
  1. And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
  2. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
  3. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
  4. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
  5. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
  1. 우리는 무교절이 지난 뒤에 필립비를 떠나 배를 타고 닷새 후에 트로아스에 이르러 그들을 만나 거기에서 이레 동안 같이 지냈다.
  2. 안식일 다음 날, 우리는 주의 만찬을 나누려고 한자리에 모였다. 바울로는 그 이튿날 떠나기로 되어 모인 사람들과 밤이 깊도록 오래 이야기를 나누었다.
  3. 우리가 모여 있던 위층 방에는 등불이 많이 켜져 있었다.
  4. 그 때 유디코라는 청년이 창문에 걸터앉아 있었는데 바울로의 이야기가 너무 오래 계속되자 졸음을 이기지 못하여 마침내 깊이 잠이 들었다가 그만 삼층에서 땅으로 떨어졌다. 사람들이 일으켜보니 그는 이미 죽어 있었다.
  5. 바울로가 내려가서 그 청년을 부둥켜 안고 사람들에게 "걱정하지 마시오. 아직 살아 있소." 하고 말하였다.
  1. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
  2. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
  3. And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
  4. And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.
  5. And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.
  1. 바울로는 다시 위층으로 올라가 빵을 떼어 나누어 먹으면서 날이 밝도록 오래 이야기하다가 떠나갔다.
  2. 한편 사람들은 살아난 청년을 집으로 데리고 가며 한없는 위로를 받았다.
  3. 우리는 배를 타고 아쏘로 먼저 떠났다. 바울로는 육로로 거기까지 가기로 했기 때문에 우리는 거기에서 바울로를 태울 참이었다.
  4. 우리는 아쏘에서 바울로를 만나 그를 배에 태우고 미딜레네로 갔다.
  5. 그리고 이튿날 거기를 떠나 키오스 섬 앞바다에 이르렀고 다음날 사모스 섬에 들렀다가 그 다음날에는 밀레도스에 도착하였다.
  1. For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
  1. 바울로가 아시아에서 시간을 허비하지 않으려고 에페소에는 들르지 않기로 하였던 것이다. 그는 할 수만 있으면 오순절을 예루살렘에서 지내려고 서두르고 있었다.
 
 
  1. And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
  2. And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
  3. Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
  4. And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
  5. Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
  1. 밀레도스에서 바울로는 에페소에 사람을 보내어 그 교회 원로들을 불렀다.
  2. 원로들이 오자 바울로는 이렇게 말하였다. "여러분은 내가 아시아에 발을 들여놓은 첫날부터 지금까지 여러분과 함께 어떻게 지내왔는지를 잘 알고 있습니다.
  3. 나는 유다인들의 음모로 여러 차례 시련을 겪으면서도 눈물을 머금고 온갖 굴욕을 참아가며 주님을 섬겨왔습니다.
  4. 그리고 여러분에게 유익한 것이라면 하나도 빼놓지 않고 공중 앞에서나 여러분의 가정에서 전하며 가르쳤습니다.
  5. 그리고 유다인에게나 이방인에게나 똑같이 회개하고 하느님께 돌아와 우리 주 예수를 믿어야 한다고 애써 권면하였던 것입니다.
  1. And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
  2. Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
  3. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
  4. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
  5. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
  1. 이제 나는 성령의 지시를 따라 예루살렘으로 올라가는 길인데 거기에 가면 나에게 무슨 일이 닥칠지 모릅니다.
  2. 다만 내가 아는 것은 내가 어느 도시에 들어가든지 투옥과 고통이 나를 기다리고 있다는 것을 성령께서 나에게 일러주신다는 사실입니다.
  3. 그러나 내 사명을 완수하고 하느님의 은총의 복음을 전하라고 주 예수께서 나에게 맡겨주신 임무를 다할 수만 있다면 나는 조금도 목숨을 아끼지 않겠습니다.
  4. 나는 이제 분명히 압니다. 여러분은 모두 내 얼굴을 다시는 보지 못하게 될 것입니다. 내가 여러분과 함께 지내는 동안 하느님 나라를 줄곧 선포하였으니
  5. 앞으로 여러분 가운데 누가 멸망하게 되더라도 나에게는 아무런 책임이 없다는 것을 이 자리에서 분명히 말해 두는 바입니다.
  1. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
  2. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
  3. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
  4. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
  5. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
  1. 나는 하느님의 모든 계획을 남김없이 여러분에게 전해 주었습니다.
  2. 여러분은 늘 자신을 살피며 성령께서 맡겨주신 양떼들을 잘 돌보시오. 성령께서는 여러분을 감독으로 세우셔서 하느님께서 당신 아드님의 피로 값을 치르고 얻으신 당신의 교회를 보살피게 하셨습니다.
  3. 내가 떠나가면 사나운 이리떼가 여러분 가운데 들어와 양떼를 마구 헤칠 것이며
  4. 여러분 가운데서도 진리를 그르치는 말을 하며 신도들을 이탈시켜 자기를 따르라고 할 사람들이 생겨날 것은 분명합니다.
  5. 그러므로 여러분은 언제나 깨어 있으시오. 그리고 내가 삼 년 동안이나 밤낮으로 눈물을 흘리며 각 사람에게 쉬지 않고 훈계하던 것을 잊지 마시오.
  1. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
  2. I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
  3. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
  4. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
  5. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
  1. 나는 이제 하느님과 그의 은총의 말씀에 여러분을 맡깁니다. 그 말씀은 여러분을 완전한 사람으로 키울 수 있으며 모든 성도들과 함께 유산을 차지하게 할 수 있습니다.
  2. 나는 누구의 은이나 금이나 옷을 탐낸 일이 없습니다.
  3. 여러분도 알다시피 나와 내 일행에게 필요한 것은 모두 나의 이 두 손으로 일해서 장만하였습니다.
  4. 나는 여러분도 이렇게 수고하여 약한 사람들을 도와주고 또 '주는 것이 받는 것보다 더 행복하다.' 하신 주 예수의 말씀을 명심하도록 언제나 본을 보여왔습니다."
  5. 바울로는 이 말을 마치고 그들과 함께 무릎을 꿇고 기도를 드렸다.
  1. And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,
  2. Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
  1. 그들은 모두 많이 울었으며 바울로의 목을 끌어안고 입을 맞추었다.
  2. 그들을 가장 마음 아프게 한 것은 다시는 자기 얼굴을 보지 못하리라고 한 바울로의 말이었다. 그들은 바울로를 배에까지 전송하였다.
