- And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
- And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.
- Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.
- And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
- And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

- 에베소 장로들과 작별한 후 우리는 배를 타고 바로 고스로 갔고 이튿날 로도에 들렀다가 바다라에 도착하였다.
- 거기서 우리는 페니키아로 가는 배를 타고 떠났다.
- 그리고 키프러스 남쪽을 지나 시리아로 항해하다가 짐을 내리려고 두로에 배를 대었다.
- 우리는 거기서 신자들을 만나 7일 동안 머물렀다. 그런데 그들은 성령님의 감동으로 바울에게 예루살렘으로 가지 말라고 하였다.
- 일 주일이 지난 후 우리가 떠나자 그 곳 신자들이 부인들과 아이들을 데리고 마을 밖까지 따라 나와 우리를 전송하였다. 우리는 바닷가에서 함께 무릎을 꿇고 기도한 후

- And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.
- And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
- And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
- And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
- And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

- 서로 작별하고 배에 올랐고 그들은 집으로 돌아갔다.
- 우리는 두로에서 항해를 계속하여 돌레마이에 이르렀으며 거기서 신자들을 찾아보고 그들과 함께 하루를 지내다가
- 이튿날 그 곳을 떠나 가이사랴에 도착하였다. 우리는 일곱 집사 중의 하나인 전도자 빌립의 집에 들어가 그와 함께 머물렀다.
- 빌립에게는 예언하는 네 딸이 있었는데 그들은 모두 처녀였다.
- 우리가 여러 날 머무는 동안 유대에서 아가보라는 예언자가 내려왔다.

- And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
- And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
- Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
- And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
- And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

- 그가 우리에게 와서 바울의 허리띠를 가져다가 자기 손발을 묶고 이렇게 말하였다. '예루살렘에서 유대인들이 이 띠의 주인을 이렇게 묶어 이방인들에게 넘겨줄 것이라고 성령님이 말씀하셨습니다.'
- 이 말을 듣고 우리는 그 곳 사람들과 함께 바울에게 예루살렘으로 올라가지 말라고 눈물로 권하였다.
- 그러나 바울은 '왜 이렇게 울면서 내 마음을 아프게 하시오? 나는 주 예수님을 위해 예루살렘에서 묶이는 것뿐만 아니라 죽는 것도 각오하고 있습니다.' 하고 대답하였다.
- 아무리 말려도 듣지 않으므로 우리는 주님의 뜻대로 되기를 바란다고 말하고서 더 이상 말리지 않았다.
- 거기서 얼마 동안 머문 후에 우리는 짐을 챙겨 예루살렘으로 떠났다.

- There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

- 가이사랴의 몇몇 신자들이 우리와 동행하여 우리와 머물 나손의 집으로 우리를 데려다 주었다. 나손은 키프러스 사람으로 일찍부터 믿은 신자였다.
