미가

  미가는 북이스라엘과 남유다를 향해 예언한 선지자로, 요담 말기부터 히스기야 시대까지 활동한 것으로 보인다. 당시 앗수르는 디글랏 빌레셋 3세가 왕위에 올라 남진 정책을 폈다. 이로 인해 북이스라엘과 남유다는 앗수르의 침략 위협에 직면하고 있었다. 이러한 상황에서 남유다와 북이스라엘에는 국력을 정비하는 일이 무엇보다도 급선무였다. 그러나 그들은 국력을 정비하기보다는 정치적, 사회적, 종교적, 도덕적으로 더욱 타락해 가는 양상을 보였다. 이러한 상황에서 미가는 남북 왕국의 멸망과 그 후에 있을 하나님의 구원을 전하기 위해 본서를 기록하였다.

  본서는 하나님을 격노케 한 사마리아와 예루살렘의 죄상을 고발하고 하나님의 심판이 이미 정해졌음을 경고하며 그들의 회개를 촉구하고 있다. 또한 다윗의 언약이 장차 메시아 왕국의 도래로 인해 성취될 것임을 예언함으로써 소망을 주고 있다.

 

 

미가 1:1-3:12

 미가는 하나님의 말씀에 따라 전 이스라엘을 향해 심판을 선포하고 사마리아의 멸망을 예언하였다. 그는 약하고 가난한 자를 억압한 권세자들의 죄와 참선지자의 예언보다 자신의 뜻에 맞춰 주는 거짓 선지자의 말을 청종했던 백성들의 죄를 책망한 후, 예루살렘과 성전의 파괴를 예언하였다.
  
  이스라엘의 심판(1:1-3:12)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
  2. Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
  3. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
  4. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
  5. For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
  1. 이것은 요담과 아하스와 히스기야가 유다 왕으로 있을 당시 여호와께서 모레셋 사람 미가에게 사마리아와 예루살렘에 관하여 주신 말씀이다.
  2. 지상에 사는 모든 사람들아, 들어라! 주 여호와께서 너희에게 대하여 그의 성전에서 증거하실 것이다.
  3. 여호와께서 자기 처소에서 나오셔서 땅으로 내려와 산꼭대기를 밟고 다니실 것이다.
  4. 산들이 그 아래서 녹고 골짜기들이 갈라질 것이니 마치 밀랍이 불 앞에서 녹고 물이 비탈로 쏟아지는 것 같을 것이다.
  5. 이것은 다 이스라엘 백성의 죄와 허물 때문이다. 이스라엘 죄의 본거지가 어디냐? 수도 사마리아가 아니냐? 유다의 우상 숭배 온상은 어디냐? 바로 예루살렘이 아니냐?
  1. Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
  2. And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
  3. Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
  4. For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
  5. Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
  1. 그러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. '내가 사마리아를 폐허로 만들어 포도나무를 심을 빈 들처럼 되게 할 것이며 그 돌무더기를 골짜기에 쏟아내리고 그 지대를 드러낼 것이다.
  2. 저의 모든 우상들이 박살나고 우상의 신전에 바친 모든 예물들이 다 불에 탈 것이며 모든 신상들이 파괴될 것이다. 사마리아가 그 모든 예물을 우상섬기는 자들에게서 모았으므로 그것이 다시 우상 섬기는 데 사용될 것이다.'
  3. 이것 때문에 나는 슬퍼하며 통곡하고 벌거벗은 채 맨발로 돌아다니며 늑대처럼 울부짖고 타조처럼 슬피 울어야 할 것이다.
  4. 사마리아의 상처가 치료될 수 없고 유다도 그런 상처로 고통을 당하며 내 백성이 사는 예루살렘 성문에 파멸이 이르렀다.
  5. 너희는 그것을 가드에 있는 우리 적들에게 말하지 말고 그들에게 너희가 우는 것을 보이지 말아라. 벧-아브라 사람들아, 너희는 티끌에 뒹굴어라.
  1. Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
  2. For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
  3. O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
  4. Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
  5. Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
  1. 사빌 사람들아, 벌거벗은 채 포로로 잡혀가서 수치를 당하여라. 사아난 사람들은 자기들의 성 밖으로 나오지 못할 것이다. 벧-에셀 사람들이 슬피 우는 소리를 들으면 너희는 거기에도 피난처가 없음을 알게 될 것이다.
  2. 마롯 주민들이 안타까운 심정으로 무사하기를 바란다. 이것은 여호와의 재앙이 예루살렘 성문에까지 이르렀기 때문이다.
  3. 라기스 사람들아, 마차로 도망할 준비를 하여라. 너희가 이스라엘의 죄를 제일 먼저 본받아 예루살렘을 범죄하게 하였다.
  4. 유다 사람들아, 너희는 모레셋-가드에게 작별을 고하라. 악십이 이스라엘 왕들을 속일 것이다.
  5. 마레사 사람들아, 여호와께서 너희를 정복자의 손이 넘겨 줄 것이니 너희 귀족들이 도망하여 아둘람 굴에 숨을 것이다.
  1. Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
  1. 유다 사람들아, 너희가 사랑하는 자녀를 위해 슬퍼하며 너희 머리를 밀어 독수리처럼 대머리가 되게 하라. 너희 자녀들이 포로로 잡혀갈 것이다.
 
 
  1. Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
  2. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
  3. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
  4. In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
  5. Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
  1. 밤에 일어나 악한 일을 계획하고 날이 밝으면 그것을 실행하는 권력자들에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  2. 그들이 남의 밭과 집을 빼앗고 남의 재산을 약탈하며 사람들을 괴롭히고 있다.
  3. 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 이 백성에게 재앙을 내리기로 계획하고 있다. 이것은 너희가 피할 수 없는 재앙이다. 너희가 이런 재앙을 만나면 더 이상 뻐기고 다니지 못할 것이다.
  4. 그 때에 사람들이 너희 쓰라린 경험을 풍자하여 이런 애가를 지어 부를 것이다. : '우리는 완전히 망하였네. 여호와께서 우리 땅을 빼앗아 우리를 포로로 잡아간 원수들에게 주었네.'
  5. 그러므로 너희 가운데 제비를 뽑아 땅을 나눌 자가 하나도 없을 것이다.
  1. Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
  2. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
  3. Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
  4. The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
  5. Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
  1. 사람들은 나에게 이런 말을 하고 있다. '너는 예언하지 말아라. 이런 것은 예언할 것이 못 된다. 하나님이 우리를 수치스럽게 하지 않으실 것이다.'
  2. 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '이스라엘 백성들아, 어째서 너희는 '여호와께서 성급하시냐? 그가 실제로 그런 일을 행하시겠느냐?' 하느냐? 정직하게 사는 자들에게는 내 말이 유익하지 않겠느냐?
  3. 최근에 내 백성이 원수처럼 일어나 나를 대적하는구나. 너희가 전쟁을 치르고 돌아가는 병사들처럼 평안히 지나가는 행인들의 옷을 벗기며
  4. 힘없는 여자들을 안락한 가정에서 쫓아내고 그들의 자녀들에게서 내 축복을 빼앗아 가고 있다.
  5. 너희는 일어나 떠나라. 이 곳은 너희가 쉴 곳이 아니다. 너희가 죄로 이 땅을 더럽혔으니 반드시 멸망할 것이다.
  1. If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
  2. I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
  3. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
  1. 이 백성은 어떤 사람이 속이고 거짓말하며 '내가 너희에게 포도주와 독주에 대하여 예언하겠다.' 하면 그런 사람을 예언자로 생각하고 좋아한다.
  2. 이스라엘 백성들아, 내가 너희 남은 자들을 반드시 모을 것이다. 목자가 양떼를 우리로 모으듯이 내가 너희를 모으겠다. 목장에 양떼가 가득한 것처럼 너희 땅은 수많은 사람들로 다시 붐빌 것이다.'
  3. 하나님이 그들을 위해 길을 여시고 그들을 포로 된 땅에서 인도해 내실 것이다. 그들이 성문을 부수고 나올 것이며 그들의 왕이신 여호와께서 선두에 서서 그들을 인도하실 것이다.
 
 
  1. And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
  2. Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
  3. Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
  4. Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
  5. Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
  1. 이스라엘의 지도자들아, 들어라! 너희는 정의를 실현해야 할 사람들이 아니냐?
  2. 그런데도 너희는 선을 미워하고 악을 좋아하여 내 백성의 가죽을 벗기고 그들의 뼈에서 살을 뜯어내고 있다.
  3. 너희는 내 백성의 고기를 먹고 그들의 뼈를 꺾어 남비에 끓일 고기처럼 다지고 있다.
  4. 그러므로 너희가 여호와께 부르짖어도 그가 응답하지 않으실 것이다. 너희가 악을 행하였으므로 너희가 기도할 때 여호와께서 외면하실 것이다.
  5. 거짓 예언자들아, 너희는 여호와의 백성을 잘못된 길로 인도하고 있다. 너희에게 먹을 것을 주는 자들에게는 너희가 평안을 말해 주고 먹을 것을 주지 않는 자들에게는 좋지 못한 말로 위협하고 있다. 그러므로 이런 거짓 예언자들에게 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
  1. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
  2. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
  3. But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
  4. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
  5. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
  1. '너희에게 태양이 지고 어두운 밤이 닥칠 것이므로 너희가 환상을 보고 미래를 예언하거나 점을 치지 못할 것이다.'
  2. 미래를 점치는 자들이 다 수치를 당할 것이다. 하나님이 응답하지 않으시므로 그들이 창피해서 자기들의 얼굴을 가릴 것이다.
  3. 그러나 여호와께서 나에게 성령과 권능으로 채워 주시고 올바른 판단력을 주셨으므로 내가 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 과감하게 선언할 것이다.
  4. 정의를 미워하고 불의를 일삼는 이스라엘의 지도자들아, 들어라.
  5. 너희는 시온을 피로, 예루살렘을 죄악으로 건축하고 있다.
  1. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
  2. Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
  1. 성을 다스리는 자들이 뇌물을 받고 재판을 하며 제사장들은 급료를 받고 율법을 가르치고 예언자들은 돈을 받고 점을 쳐주면서도 여호와의 이름을 들어 '여호와께서 우리 가운데 계시지 않느냐? 재앙이 우리에게 내리지 않을 것이다.' 하고 말한다.
  2. 그래서 너희 때문에 시온이 밭처럼 경작될 것이다. 예루살렘은 폐허가 되고 성전 언덕에는 잡목 숲이 무성할 것이다.
