- It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
- And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
- For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
- In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
- To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

- 여러분 가운데 음행이 있다는 소문이 들립니다. 자기 아버지의 아내를 데리고 사는 일까지 있다고 하니, 그러한 음행은 이방 사람들 가운데서도 볼 수 없는 것입니다.
- 그런데도 여러분은 교만해져 있습니다. 오히려 여러분은 그러한 현상을 통탄하고, 그러한 일을 저지른 자를 여러분 가운데서 제거했어야 하지 않았겠습니까?
- 나로 말하면, 비록 몸으로는 떠나 있으나, 영으로는 함께 있습니다. 마치 여러분과 함께 있듯이, 그러한 일을 저지른 자를 이미 심판하였습니다.
- [우리] 주 예수의 이름으로 여러분이 모여 있을 때에, 나의 영이 우리 주 예수의 권능과 더불어 여러분과 함께 있으니,
- 여러분은 그러한 자를 당장 사탄에게 넘겨주어서, 그 육체는 망하게 하고 그의 영은 주님의 날에 구원을 얻게 해야 할 것입니다.

- Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
- Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
- Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
- I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
- Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

- 여러분이 자랑하는 것은 좋지 않습니다. 여러분은 적은 누룩이 온 반죽을 부풀게 한다는 것을 알지 못합니까?
- 여러분은 새 반죽이 되기 위해서, 묵은 누룩을 깨끗이 치우십시오. 사실 여러분은 누룩이 들지 않은 사람들입니다. 우리들의 유월절 양이신 그리스도께서 희생되셨습니다.
- 그러므로 묵은 누룩, 곧 악의와 악독이라는 누룩을 넣은 빵으로 절기를 지키지 말고, 성실과 진실을 누룩으로 삼아 누룩 없이 빚은 빵으로 지킵시다.
- 내 편지에서, 음행하는 사람들과 사귀지 말라고 여러분에게 썼습니다.
- 그 말은, 이 세상에 음행하는 사람들이나, 탐욕을 부리는 사람들이나, 약탈하는 사람들이나, 우상을 숭배하는 사람들과, 전혀 사귀지 말라는 뜻이 아닙니다. 그러려면, 여러분은 이 세상 밖으로 나가야 할 것입니다.

- But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
- For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
- But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

- 그러나 이제 내가 여러분에게 사귀지 말라고 쓰는 것은, 신도라 하는 어떤 사람이 음행하는 사람이거나, 탐욕을 부리는 사람이거나, 우상을 숭배하는 사람이거나, 사람을 중상하는 사람이거나, 술 취하는 사람이거나, 약탈하는 사람이면, 그런 사람과는 함께 먹지도 말라는 말입니다.
- 밖에 있는 사람들을 심판하는 것이, 나에게 무슨 상관이 있습니까? 여러분이 심판해야 할 사람들은 안에 있는 사람들이 아니겠습니까?
- 밖에 있는 사람들은 하나님께서 심판하실 것입니다. 여러분은 그 악한 사람을 여러분 가운데서 내쫓으십시오.
