  1. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
  2. The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
  3. Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
  4. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
  5. And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
  1. At Lystra a man was sitting who had no strength in his feet, lame from his mother's womb, who had never walked.
  2. This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and had seen that he had faith to be made well,
  3. said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet." And he leaped up and began to walk.
  4. When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have become like men and have come down to us."
  5. And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
  1. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
  2. Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
  3. And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
  4. Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
  5. Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
  1. The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds.
  2. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowd, crying out
  3. and saying, "Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, WHO MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM.
  4. "In the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways;
  5. and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness."
  1. And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
  1. Even saying these things, with difficulty they restrained the crowds from offering sacrifice to them.

  안디옥으로의 귀환(14:19-14:28)

  1. And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
  2. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
  3. And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
  4. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
  5. And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
  1. But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having won over the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.
  2. But while the disciples stood around him, he got up and entered the city The next day he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.
  3. After they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch,
  4. strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, "Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God."
  5. When they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
  1. And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.
  2. And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia:
  3. And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
  4. And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
  5. And there they abode long time with the disciples.
  1. They passed through Pisidia and came into Pamphylia.
  2. When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
  3. From there they sailed to Antioch, from which they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they had accomplished.
  4. When they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to report all things that God had done with them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
  5. And they spent a long time with the disciples.
