- Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
- Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
- Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
- That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
- They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

- 神よ． 私の 嘆くとき， その 聲を 聞いてください． 恐るべき 敵から， 私のいのちを 守ってください．
- 惡を 行なう 者どものはかりごとから， 不法を 行なう 者らの ¿ぎから， 私をかくまってください．
- 彼らは， その 舌を 劍のように， とぎすまし， 苦いことばの 矢を 放っています．
- 全き 人に 向けて， 隱れた 所から 射掛け， 不意に 射て 恐れません．
- 彼らは 惡事に 凝っています． 語り 合ってひそかにわなをかけ， 「だれに， 見破ることができよう． 」と 言っています．
