사무엘하

  본서는 다윗의 통치를 통해 하나님을 대리하여 통치하는 신정 국가의 이상을 보여 주고 있다. 다윗이 하나님의 뜻을 따라 성실과 공의로 다스리는 모습을 기록함으로써 장차 왕으로 오실 그리스도의 통치를 보여 주고 있다. 아울러 다윗의 성공과 실패를 통하여 인생에 있어서의 성공의 관건은 하나님에 대한 신앙 유지에 있음을 가르쳐 준다.

  사울이 죽은 후 왕위에 등극한 다윗은 왕국의 기틀을 공고히 하기 위한 제반 조치와 함께 성공적인 정복 전쟁을 통해 영토를 애굽에서 유브라데까지 확장시킨다. 또한 다윗은 밧세바 사건으로 말미암아 갖가지 재난을 겪고, 여러 가지 사건들을 하나님의 은혜로 극복한다.

 

 

사무엘하 1:1-2:32

 사울과 요나단의 죽음을 전해 들은 다윗은 그들을 추모하는 애가를 지어 불렀다. 유다 지파의 왕으로 등극한 다윗은 사울을 장사한 야베스 사람들을 축복했다. 사울의 군장 아브넬이 사울의 아들 이스보셋을 왕으로 세움으로써 다윗의 집과 사울의 집 사이의 싸움은 계속되었다. 다윗의 군장 요압은 기브온 전투에서 아브넬에게 승리를 거두었으나 동생 아사헬을 잃었다.
  
  사울과 요나단의 죽음을 애도하는 다윗(1:1-1:27)    
 
  1. Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
  2. It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
  3. And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.
  4. And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
  5. And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?
  1. サウル の 死後， ダビデ は アマレク 人を 打ち 破って 歸り， 二日間， ツィケラグ に 滯在した．
  2. 三日目に， 突然， ひとりの 男が サウル の 陣營からやって 來た． その 着物は 裂け， 頭には 土をかぶっていた． 彼は， ダビデ のところに 來ると， 地にひれ 伏して， 禮をした．
  3. ダビデ は 言った． 「どこから 來たのか． 」彼は ダビデ に 言った． 「イスラエル の 陣營からのがれて 來ました． 」
  4. ダビデ は 彼に 言った． 「狀況はどうか， 話してくれ． 」すると 彼は 言った． 「民は 戰場から 逃げ， また 民の 多くは 倒れて 死に， サウル も， その 子 ヨナタン も 死にました． 」
  5. ダビデ は， その 報告をもたらした 若者に 言った． 「サウル とその 子 ヨナタン が 死んだことを， どうして 知ったのか． 」
  1. And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
  2. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
  3. And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
  4. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.
  5. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
  1. 報告をもたらした 若者は 言った． 「私は， たまたま， ギルボア 山にいましたが， ちょうどその 時， サウル は 槍にもたれ， 戰車と 騎兵があの 方に 押し 迫っていました．
  2. サウル が 振り 返って， 私を 見て 呼びました． 私が『はい． 』と 答えると，
  3. サウル は 私に， 『おまえはだれだ． 』と 言いましたので， 『私は アマレク 人です． 』と 答えますと，

  1. Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:
  2. And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
  3. And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
  4. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?
  5. And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
  1. すると， ダビデ は 自分の 衣をつかんで 裂いた． そこにいた 家來たちもみな， そのようにした．
  2. 彼らは， サウル のため， その 子 ヨナタン のため， また， 主の 民のため， イスラエル の 家のためにいたみ 悲しんで 泣き， 夕方まで 斷食した． 彼らが 劍に 倒れたからである．
  3. ダビデ は 自分に 報告した 若者に 言った． 「おまえはどこの 者か． 」若者は 答えた． 「私は アマレク 人で， 在留異國人の 子です． 」
  4. ダビデ は 言った． 「主に 油そそがれた 方に， 手を 下して 殺すのを 恐れなかったとは， どうしたことか． 」
  5. ダビデ は 若者のひとりを 呼んで 言った． 「近寄って， これを 打て． 」そこで 彼を 打ち 殺した．
  1. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed.
  2. And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
  3. (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)
  4. The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
  5. Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
  1. そのとき， ダビデ は 彼に 言った． 「おまえの 血は， おまえの 頭にふりかかれ． おまえ 自身の 口で， 『私は 主に 油そそがれた 方を 殺した． 』と 言って 證言したからである． 」
  2. ダビデ は， サウル のため， その 子 ヨナタン のために， この 哀歌を 作り，
  3. この 弓の 歌を ユダ の 子らに 敎えるように 命じた． これは ヤシャル の 書にしるされている．
  4. 「イスラエル の 譽れは， おまえの 高き 所で 殺された． ああ， 勇士たちは 倒れた．
  5. これを ガテ に 告げるな． アシュケロン のちまたに 告げ 知らせるな． ペリシテ 人の 娘らを 喜ばせないために． 割禮のない 者の 娘らを 勝ち 誇らせないために．
  1. Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
  2. From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
  3. Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
  4. Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
  5. How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
  1. ギルボア の 山¿よ． おまえたちの 上に， 露は 降りるな． 雨も 降るな． いけにえがささげられた 野の 上にも． そこでは 勇士たちの 盾は 汚され， サウル の 盾に 油も 塗られなかった．
  2. ただ， 殺された 者の 血， 勇士たちのあぶらのほかは． ヨナタン の 弓は， 退いたことがなく， サウル の 劍は， むなしく 歸ったことがなかった．
  3. サウル も ヨナタン も， 愛される， りっぱな 人だった． 生きているときにも， 死ぬときにも 離れることなく， わしよりも 速く， 雄獅子よりも 强かった．
  4. イスラエル の 娘らよ． サウル のために 泣け． サウル は 紅の 薄絹をおまえたちにまとわせ， おまえたちの 裝いに 金の 飾りをつけてくれた．
  5. ああ， 勇士たちは 戰いのさなかに 倒れた． ヨナタン はおまえの 高き 所で 殺された．
  1. I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.
  2. How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
  1. あなたのために 私は 悲しむ． 私の 兄弟 ヨナタン よ． あなたは 私を 大いに 喜ばせ， あなたの 私への 愛は， 女の 愛にもまさって， すばらしかった．
  2. ああ， 勇士たちは 倒れた． 戰いの 器はうせた． 」

  1. And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
  2. So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.
  3. And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
  4. And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.
  5. And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.
  1. この 後， ダビデ は 主に 伺って 言った． 「ユダ の 一つの 町へ 上って 行くべきでしょうか． 」すると 主は 彼に， 「上って 行け． 」と 仰せられた． ダビデ が， 「どこへ 上るのでしょうか． 」と 聞くと， 主は， 「ヘブロン へ． 」と 仰せられた．
  2. そこで ダビデ は， ふたりの 妻， イズレエル 人 アヒノアム と， ナバル の 妻であった カルメル 人 アビガイル といっしょに， そこへ 上って 行った．
  3. ダビデ は， 自分とともにいた 人¿を， その 家族といっしょに 連れて 上った． こうして 彼らは ヘブロン の 町¿に 住んだ．
  4. そこへ ユダ の 人¿がやって 來て， ダビデ に 油をそそいで ユダ の 家の 王とした． ヤベシュ · ギルアデ の 人¿が サウル を 葬った， ということが ダビデ に 知らされたとき，
  5. ダビデ は ヤベシュ · ギルアデ の 人¿に 使いを 送り， 彼らに 言った． 「あなたがたの 主君 サウル に， このような 眞實を 盡くして， 彼を 葬ったあなたがたに， 主の 祝福があるように．
  1. And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
  2. Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.
  3. But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;
  4. And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
  5. Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
  1. 今， 主があなたがたに 惠みとまことを 施してくださるように． この 私も， あなたがたがこのようなことをしたので， 善をもって 報いよう．
  2. さあ， 强くあれ． 勇氣のある 者となれ． あなたがたの 主君 サウル は 死んだが， ユダ の 家は 私に 油をそそいで， 彼らの 王としたのだ． 」
  3. 一方， サウル の 將軍であった ネル の 子 アブネル は， サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェテ を マハナイム に 連れて 行き，
  4. 彼を ギルアデ ， アシュル 人， イズレエル ， エフライム ， ベニヤミン ， 全 イスラエル の 王とした．
  5. サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェテ は， 四十歲で イスラエル の 王となり， 二年間， 王であった． ただ， ユダ の 家だけは ダビデ に 從った．
  1. And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.
  2. And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
  3. And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
  4. And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
  5. Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
  1. ダビデ が ヘブロン で ユダ の 家の 王であった 期間は， 七年六か 月であった．
  2. ネル の 子 アブネル は， サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェテ の 家來たちといっしょに マハナイム を 出て， ギブオン へ 向かった．
  3. 一方， ツェルヤ の 子 ヨアブ も， ダビデ の 家來たちといっしょに 出て 行った． こうして 彼らは ギブオン の 池のそばで 出會った． 一方は 池のこちら 側に， 他方は 池の 向こう 側にとどまった．
  4. アブネル は ヨアブ に 言った． 「さあ， 若い 者たちを 出して， われわれの 前で 鬪技をさせよう． 」 ヨアブ は 言った． 「出そう． 」
  5. そこで， ベニヤミン と サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェテ の 側から 十二人， ダビデ の 家來たちから 十二人が 順番に 出て 行った．
  1. And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
  2. And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.
  3. And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
  4. And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
  5. Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.
  1. 彼らは 互いに 相手の 頭をつかみ， 相手のわき 腹に 劍を 刺し， 一つになって 倒れた． それでその 所は ヘルカテ · ハツリム と 呼ばれた． それは ギブオン にある．
  2. その 日， 戰いは 激しさをきわめ， アブネル と イスラエル の 兵士たちは， ダビデ の 家來たちに 打ち 負かされた．
  3. そこに， ツェルヤ の 三人の 息子， ヨアブ ， アビシャイ ， アサエル が 居合わせた． アサエル は 野にいるかもしかのように， 足が 早かった．
  4. アサエル は アブネル のあとを 追った． 右にも 左にもそれずに， アブネル を 追った．
  5. アブネル は 振り 向いて 言った． 「おまえは アサエル か． 」彼は 答えた． 「そうだ． 」
  1. And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
  2. And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
  3. Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
  4. Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.
  5. And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
  1. アブネル は 彼に 言った． 「右か 左にそれて， 若者のひとりを 捕え， その 者からはぎ 取れ． 」しかし アサエル は， アブネル を 追うのをやめず， ほかへ 行こうともしなかった．
  2. アブネル はもう 一度 アサエル に 言った． 「私を 追うのをやめて， ほかへ 行け． なんでおまえを 地に 打ち 倒すことができよう． どうしておまえの 兄弟 ヨアブ に 顔向けができよう． 」
  3. それでも アサエル は， ほかへ 行こうとはしなかった． それで アブネル は， 槍の 石突きで 彼の 下腹を 突き 刺した． 槍は アサエル を 突き 拔けた． アサエル はその 場に 倒れて， そこで 死んだ． アサエル が 倒れて 死んだ 場所に 來た 者はみな， 立ち 止まった．
  4. しかし ヨアブ と アビシャイ は， アブネル のあとを 追った． 彼らが アマ の 丘に 來たとき 太陽が 沈んだ． アマ は ギブオン の 荒野の 道沿いにある ギアハ の 手前にあった．
  5. ベニヤミン 人は アブネル に 從って 集まり， 一團となって， そこの 丘の 頂上に 立った．
  1. Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
  2. And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
  3. So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
  4. And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.
  5. And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.
  1. アブネル は ヨアブ に 呼びかけて 言った． 「いつまでも 劍が 人を 滅ぼしてよいものか． その 果ては， ひどいことになるのを 知らないのか． いつになったら， 兵士たちに， 自分の 兄弟たちを 追うのをやめて 歸れ， と 命じるつもりか． 」
  2. ヨアブ は 言った． 「神は 生きておられる． もし， おまえが 言いださなかったなら， 確かに 兵士たちは， あしたの 朝まで， 自分の 兄弟たちを 追うのをやめなかっただろう． 」
  3. ヨアブ が 角笛を 吹いたので， 兵士たちはみな， 立ち 止まり， もう イスラエル のあとを 追わず， 戰いもしなかった．
  4. アブネル とその 部下たちは， 一晩中 アラバ を 通って 行き， ヨルダン 川を 渡り， 午前中， 步き 續けて， マハナイム に 着いた．
  5. 一方， ヨアブ は アブネル を 追うのをやめて 歸った． 兵士たちを 全部集めてみると， ダビデ の 家來十九人と アサエル がいなかった．
  1. But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.
  2. And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
  1. ダビデ の 家來たちは， アブネル の 部下である ベニヤミン 人のうち 三百六十人を 打ち 殺していた．
  2. 彼らは アサエル を 運んで， ベツレヘム にある 彼の 父の 墓に 葬った． ヨアブ とその 部下たちは， 一晩中步いて， 夜明けごろ， ヘブロン に 着いた．
