	시편 109:1-109:13 시인은 자신을 미워하는 대적들의 악행을 하나님께 고하면서 하나님께서 보응하시기를 간구하고 있다. ［다윗의 시, 영장으로 한 노래］

Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

私の贊美する神よ．默っていないでください．

彼らは邪惡な口と，欺きの口を，私に向けて開き，僞りの舌をもって，私に語ったからです．

彼らはまた，憎しみのことばで私を取り圍み，ゆえもなく私と戰いました．

彼らは，私の愛への報いとして私をなじります．私は祈るばかりです．

彼らは，善にかえて惡を，私の愛にかえて憎しみを，私に報いました．

Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

どうか，惡者を彼に遣わしてください．なじる者が彼の右に立つようにしてください．

彼がさばかれるとき，彼は罪ある者とされ，その祈りが罪となりますように．

彼の日はわずかとなり，彼の仕事は他人が取り，

その子らはみなしごとなり，彼の妻はやもめとなりますように．

彼の子らは，さまよい步いて，物ごいをしますように．その荒れ果てた家から離れて，物ごいをしますように．

Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

債權者が，彼のすべての持ち物を ¿收し，見知らぬ者が，その勤勞の實をかすめますように．

彼には惠みを注ぐ者もなく，そのみなしごをあわれむ者もいませんように．

その子孫は斷ち切られ，次の世代には彼らの名が消し去られますように．
