하박국

  하박국이 활동하던 시기는 유다 왕국이 위기에 처해 있을 때였다. 당시 유다는 국외적으로는 강대국 바벨론 침략 위협을 받고 있었으며, 국내적으로는 종교적, 도적적 타락으로 절망적인 상태에 있었다. 이러한 때에 하박국은 유다에 남은 경건한 사람들을 위로하고 ‘의인은 오직 믿음으로 산다.’고 외쳤다. 이는 기독교 구원론의 근간을 마련한 것이기도 하다.

  본서는 하나님과 하박국 선지자가 나눈 개인적인 대화와 예언적 계시에 초첨을 맞추고 있다. 본서에는 하나님의 주권의 확실성이 표현되어 있으며, 의인을 향한 하나님의 사랑과 악한 바벨론을 멸하시려는 하나님의 의도가 잘 나타나 있다.

 

 

하박국 1:1-3:19

 죄악이 관영한 남유다를 공의의 하나님께서 왜 징계치 않으시는가를 질문한 하박국에게 갈대아를 심판의 도구로 삼아 그들을 심판하시겠다는 하나님의 응답이 주어졌다. 이어 하박국이 왜 유다보다 더 패역한 이방을 사용하여 유다를 심판하시는지를 다시 묻자, 하나님께서는 유다의 심판 도구인 바벨론도 결국에는 심판과 멸망을 당하리라고 말씀하셨다. 이에 하박국은 하나님의 구원을 찬양했다.
  
  공의의 하나님(1:1-3:19)    
 
  1. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
  2. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
  3. Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
  4. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
  5. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
  1. 預言者 ハバクク が 預言した 宣告．
  2. 主よ． 私が 助けを 求めて 叫んでいますのに， あなたはいつまで， 聞いてくださらないのですか． 私が「暴虐． 」とあなたに 叫んでいますのに， あなたは 救ってくださらないのですか．
  3. なぜ， あなたは 私に， わざわいを 見させ， 勞苦をながめておられるのですか． 暴行と 暴虐は 私の 前にあり， 鬪爭があり， 爭いが 起こっています．

  1. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
  2. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
  3. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
  4. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
  5. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
  1. 見よ． わたしは カルデヤ 人を 起こす． 强暴で 激しい 國民だ． これは， 自分のものでない 住まいを 占領しようと， 地を 廣く 行き 巡る．
  2. これは， ひどく 恐ろしい． 自分自身でさばきを 行ない， 威嚴を 現わす．
  3. その 馬は， ひょうよりも 速く， 日暮れの 狼よりも 敏しょうだ． その 騎兵は 遠くから 來て， はね 回り， 鷲のように 獲物を 食おうと 飛びかかる．
  4. 彼らは 來て， みな 暴虐をふるう． 彼らの 顔を 東風のように 向け， 彼らは 砂のようにとりこを 集める．

  1. Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
  2. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
  3. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
  4. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
  5. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
  1. それから， 風のように 移って 來て， 過ぎて 行く． 自分の 力を 自分の 神とする 者は 罰せられる．
  2. 主よ． あなたは 昔から， 私の 神， 私の 聖なる 方ではありませんか． 私たちは 死ぬことはありません． 主よ． あなたはさばきのために， 彼を 立て， 岩よ， あなたは 叱責のために， 彼を 据えられました．

  1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
  2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
  3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
  4. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
  5. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
  1. 私は， 見張り 所に 立ち， とりでにしかと 立って 見張り， 主が 私に 何を 語り， 私の 訴えに 何と 答えるかを 見よう．
  2. 主は 私に 答えて 言われた． 幻を 書きしるせ． これを 讀む 者が 急使として 走るために， 板の 上にはっきり 書きしるせ．
  3. この 幻は， なお， 定めの 時のためである． それは 終わりについて 告げ， まやかしを 言ってはいない． もしおそくなっても， それを 待て． それは 必ず 來る． 遲れることはない．

  1. Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
  2. Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
  3. Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  4. Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
  5. Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
  1. これらはみな， 彼についてあざけりの 聲をあげ， 彼を 皮肉り， 風刺してこう 言わないだろうか． 「ああ． 自分のものでないものを 增し 加える 者． ··いつまでだろうか． ··質物でおのれを 肥やす 者． 」

  1. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
  2. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
  3. Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
  4. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
  5. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
  1. まことに， 石は 石垣から 叫び， 梁は 家からこれに 答える．
  2. ああ． 血で 町を 建て， 不正で 都を 築き 上げる 者．
  3. これは， 万軍の 主によるのではないか． 國¿の 民は， ただ 火で 燒かれるために 勞し， 諸國の 民は， むなしく 疲れ 果てる．

  1. Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
  2. For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  3. What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
  4. Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
  5. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
  1. あなたは 榮光よりも 恥で 滿ち 足りている． あなたも 飮んで， 陽の 皮を 見せよ． 主の 右の 手の 杯は， あなたの 上に 巡って 來て， 恥があなたの 榮光をおおう．

  2. O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

  3. Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
  4. Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
  5. The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
  1. 神は 立って， 地を 測り， 見渡して， 諸國の 民を 震え 上がらせる． とこしえの 山は 打ち ¿かれ， 永遠の 丘は 低くされる． しかし， その 軌道は 昔のまま．

  4. Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
  5. Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
