- And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
- And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
- And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
- And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
- And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

- それから， イエス は 宮にはいられた． そして， 宮の 庭で 賣り 買いしていた 人¿をみな 追い 出し， また 兩替人の 台や， はとを 賣る 者の 腰掛をくつがえされた．
- そして 彼らに 言われた， 「『わたしの 家は， 祈の 家ととなえらるべきである 』と 書いてある． それだのに， あなたがたはそれを 强盜の 巢にしている 」．
- そのとき 宮の 庭で， 盲人や 足なえがみもとにきたので， 彼らをおいやしになった．
- しかし， 祭司長， 律法學者たちは， イエス がなされた 不思議なわざを 見， また 宮の 庭で「ダビデ の 子に， ホサナ 」と 叫んでいる 子供たちを 見て 立腹し，
- イエス に 言った， 「あの 子たちが 何を 言っているのか， お 聞きですか 」． イエス は 彼らに 言われた， 「そうだ， 聞いている． あなたがたは『幼な 子， 乳のみ 子たちの 口にさんびを 備えられた 』とあるのを 讀んだことがないのか 」．

- And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
- Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
- And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
- And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

- それから， イエス は 彼らをあとに 殘し， 都を 出て ベタニヤ に 行き， そこで 夜を 過ごされた．
- 朝はやく 都に 歸るとき， イエス は 空腹をおぼえられた．
- そして， 道のかたわらに 一本のいちじくの 木があるのを 見て， そこに 行かれたが， ただ 葉のほかは 何も 見當らなかった． そこでその 木にむかって， 「今から 後いつまでも， おまえには 實がならないように 」と 言われた． すると， いちじくの 木はたちまち 枯れた．
- 弟子たちはこれを 見て， 驚いて 言った， 「いちじくがどうして， こうすぐに 枯れたのでしょう 」．
- イエス は 答えて 言われた， 「よく 聞いておくがよい． もしあなたがたが 信じて 疑わないならば， このいちじくにあったようなことが， できるばかりでなく， この 山にむかって， 動き 出して 海の 中にはいれと 言っても， そのとおりになるであろう．

- And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

- また， 祈のとき， 信じて 求めるものは， みな 與えられるであろう 」．
