	레위기 9:1-10:20 위임식을 마친 제 팔 일에 아론과 그 아들들은 첫 제사를 드렸다. 제사장들을 위하여 속죄제와 번제를 드렸고, 백성을 위한 제사로는 속죄제와 번제 외에 소제와 화목제도 드렸다. 하나님께서는 이에 영광으로 응답하셨다. 나답과 아비후는 다른 불로 분향하다가 하나님의 심판으로 죽임을 당하였다. 그 후 제사장의 금주 규례가 제정되었다

	아론의 첫 제사(9:1-9:24)

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.

And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

八日目になって，モ ― セはアロンとその子たち，およびイスラエルの長老たちを呼び寄せ，

アロンに言った，「あなたは雄の子牛の全きものを罪祭のために取り，また雄羊の全きものを §祭のために取って，主の前にささげなさい．

あなたはまたイスラエルの人¿に言いなさい，『あなたがたは雄やぎを罪祭のために取り，また一歲の全き子牛と小羊とを §祭のために取りなさい，

また主の前にささげる酬恩祭のために雄牛と雄羊とを取り，また油を混ぜた素祭を取りなさい．主がきょうあなたがたに現れたもうからである』」．

彼らはモ ― セが命じたものを會見の幕屋の前に携えてきた．會衆がみな近づいて主の前に立ったので，

And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.

Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

モ ― セは言った，「これは主があなたがたに，せよと命じられたことである．こうして主の榮光はあなたがたに現れるであろう」．

モ ― セはまたアロンに言った，「あなたは祭壇に近づき，あなたの罪祭と §祭をささげて，あなたのため，また民のためにあがないをし，また民の供え物をささげて，彼らのためにあがないをし，すべて主がお命じになったようにしなさい」．

そこでアロンは祭壇に近づき，自分のための罪祭の子牛をほふった．

そしてアロンの子たちは，その血を彼のもとに携えてきたので，彼は指をその血に浸し，それを祭壇の角につけ，殘りの血を祭壇のもとに注ぎ，

また罪祭の脂肪と腎臟と肝臟の小葉とを祭壇の上で燒いた．主がモ ― セに命じられたとおりである．

And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.

And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.

And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

またその肉と皮とは宿營の外で火をもって燒き捨てた．

彼はまた §祭の ¿をほふり，アロンの子たちがその血を彼に渡したので，これを祭壇の周圍に注ぎかけた．

彼らがまた §祭のもの，すなわち，その切り分けたものと頭とを彼に渡したので，彼はこれを祭壇の上で燒いた．

またその內臟と足とを洗い，祭壇の上で §祭と共にこれを燒いた．

彼はまた民の供え物をささげた．すなわち，民のための罪祭のやぎを取ってこれをほふり，前のようにこれを罪のためにささげた．

And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

また §祭をささげた．すなわち，これを定めのようにささげた．

また素祭をささげ，そのうちから一握りを取り，朝の §祭に加えて，これを祭壇の上で燒いた．

彼はまた民のためにささげる酬恩祭の ¿牲の雄牛と雄羊とをほふり，アロンの子たちが，その血を彼に渡したので，彼はこれを祭壇の周圍に注ぎかけた．

またその雄牛と雄羊との脂肪，すなわち，脂尾，內臟をおおうもの，腎臟，肝臟の小葉．

これらの脂肪を彼らはその胸の上に載せて携えてきたので，彼はその脂肪を祭壇の上で燒いた．

And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.

And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

その胸と右のももとは，アロンが主の前に ¿り動かして ¿祭とした．モ ― セが命じたとおりである．

アロンは民にむかって手をあげて，彼らを祝福し，罪祭， §祭，酬恩祭をささげ終って降りた．

モ ― セとアロンは會見の幕屋に入り，また出てきて民を祝福した．そして主の榮光はすべての民に現れ，

主の前から火が出て，祭壇の上の §祭と脂肪とを燒きつくした．民はみな，これを見て喜びよばわり，そしてひれ伏した．

	나답과 아비후의 죽음(10:1-10:20)

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

さてアロンの子ナダブとアビフとは，おのおのその香爐を取って火をこれに入れ，薰香をその上に盛って，異火を主の前にささげた．これは主の命令に反することであったので，

主の前から火が出て彼らを燒き滅ぼし，彼らは主の前に死んだ．

その時モ ― セはアロンに言った，「主は，こう仰せられた．すなわち『わたしは，わたしに近づく者のうちに，わたしの聖なることを示し，すべての民の前に榮光を現すであろう』」．アロンは默していた．

モ ― セはアロンの叔父ウジエルの子ミシヤエルとエルザパンとを呼び寄せて彼らに言った，「近寄って，あなたがたの兄弟たちを聖所の前から，宿營の外に運び出しなさい」．

彼らは近寄って，彼らをその服のまま宿營の外に運び出し，モ ― セの言ったようにした．

And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,

Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:

And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

モ ― セはまたアロンおよびその子エレアザルとイタマルとに言った，「あなたがたは髮の毛を亂し，また衣服を裂いてはならない．あなたがたが死ぬことのないため，また主の怒りが，すべての會衆に及ぶことのないためである．ただし，あなたがたの兄弟イスラエルの全家は，主が火をもって燒き滅ぼしたもうたことを嘆いてもよい．

また，あなたがたは死ぬことのないように，會見の幕屋の入口から外へ出てはならない．あなたがたの上に主の注ぎ油があるからである」．彼らはモ ― セの言葉のとおりにした．

主はアロンに言われた，

「あなたも，あなたの子たちも會見の幕屋にはいる時には，死ぬことのないように，ぶどう酒と濃い酒を飮んではならない．これはあなたがたが代¿永く守るべき定めとしなければならない．

これはあなたがたが聖なるものと俗なるもの，汚れたものと淸いものとの區別をすることができるため，

And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy:

And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.

また主がモ ― セによって語られたすべての定めを，イスラエルの人¿に敎えることができるためである」．

モ ― セはまたアロンおよびその殘っている子エレアザルとイタマルとに言った，「あなたがたは主の火祭のうちから素祭の殘りを取り，パン種を入れずに，これを祭壇のかたわらで食べなさい．これはいと聖なる物である．

これは主の火祭のうちからあなたの受ける分，またあなたの子たちの受ける分であるから，あなたがたはこれを聖なる所で食べなければならない．わたしはこのように命じられたのである．

また ¿り動かした胸とささげたももとは，あなたとあなたのむすこ，娘たちがこれを淸い所で食べなければならない．これはイスラエルの人¿の酬恩祭の ¿牲の中からあなたの分，あなたの子たちの分として與えられるものだからである．

彼らはそのささげたももと ¿り動かした胸とを，火祭の脂肪と共に携えてきて，これを主の前に ¿り動かして ¿祭としなければならない．これは主がお命じになったように，長く受くべき分としてあなたと，あなたの子たちとに歸するであろう」．

And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.

And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

And when Moses heard that, he was content.

さてモ ― セは罪祭のやぎを，ていねいに搜したが，見よ，それがすでに燒かれていたので，彼は殘っているアロンの子エレアザルとイタマルとにむかい，怒って言った，

「あなたがたは，なぜ罪祭のものを聖なる所で食べなかったのか．これはいと聖なる物であって，あなたがたが會衆の罪を負って，彼らのために主の前にあがないをするため，あなたがたに賜わった物である．

見よ，その血は聖所の中に携え入れなかった．その肉はわたしが命じたように，あなたがたは必ずそれを聖なる所で食べるべきであった」．

アロンはモ ― セに言った，「見よ，きょう，彼らはその罪祭と §祭とを主の前にささげたが，このような事がわたしに臨んだ．もしわたしが，きょう罪祭のものを食べたとしたら，主はこれを良しとせられたであろうか」．

モ ― セはこれを聞いて良しとした．
