요한복음 2:1-2:25

 예수님은 가나의 혼인 잔치에서 물을 포도주로 변화시키는 이적을 행하심으로써 창조적 권능을 나타내셨다. 유월절에 예루살렘에 가신 예수님은 성전을 정결케 하셨으며, 표적을 구하는 유대인들에게 자신의 죽음과 부활을 예고하셨다.
  
  가나의 혼인 잔치(2:1-2:12)    
 
  1. And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
  2. And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
  3. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
  4. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
  5. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
  1. 三日目に ガリラヤ の カナ に 婚禮があって， イエス の 母がそこにいた．
  2. イエス も 弟子たちも， その 婚禮に 招かれた．
  3. ぶどう 酒がなくなったので， 母は イエス に 言った， 「ぶどう 酒がなくなってしまいました 」．
  4. イエス は 母に 言われた， 「婦人よ， あなたは， わたしと， なんの 係わりがありますか． わたしの 時は， まだきていません 」．
  5. 母は 僕たちに 言った， 「このかたが， あなたがたに 言いつけることは， なんでもして 下さい 」．
  1. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
  2. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
  3. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
  4. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
  5. And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
  1. そこには， ユダヤ 人のきよめのならわしに 從って， それぞれ 四， 五斗もはいる 石の 水がめが， 六つ 置いてあった．
  2. イエス は 彼らに「かめに 水をいっぱい 入れなさい 」と 言われたので， 彼らは 口のところまでいっぱいに 入れた．
  3. そこで 彼らに 言われた， 「さあ， くんで， 料理がしらのところに 持って 行きなさい 」． すると， 彼らは 持って 行った．
  4. 料理がしらは， ぶどう 酒になった 水をなめてみたが， それがどこからきたのか 知らなかったので， （水をくんだ 僕たちは 知っていた ）花¿を 呼んで
  5. 言った， 「どんな 人でも， 初めによいぶどう 酒を 出して， 醉いがまわったころにわるいのを 出すものだ． それだのに， あなたはよいぶどう 酒を 今までとっておかれました 」．
  1. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
  2. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
  1. イエス は， この 最初のしるしを ガリラヤ の カナ で 行い， その 榮光を 現された． そして 弟子たちは イエス を 信じた．
  2. そののち， イエス は， その 母， 兄弟たち， 弟子たちと 一緖に， カペナウム に 下って， 幾日かそこにとどまられた．
 
  성전 정화(2:13-2:25)    
 
  1. And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
  2. And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
  3. And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
  4. And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
  5. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
  1. さて， ユダヤ 人の 過越の 祭が 近づいたので， イエス は エルサレム に 上られた．
  2. そして 牛， 羊， はとを 賣る 者や 兩替する 者などが 宮の 庭にすわり ¿んでいるのをごらんになって，
  3. なわでむちを 造り， 羊も 牛もみな 宮から 追いだし， 兩替人の 金を 散らし， その 台をひっくりかえし，
  4. はとを 賣る 人¿には「これらのものを 持って， ここから 出て 行け． わたしの 父の 家を 商賣の 家とするな 」と 言われた．
  5. 弟子たちは， 「あなたの 家を 思う 熱心が， わたしを 食いつくすであろう 」と 書いてあることを 思い 出した．
  1. Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
  2. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
  3. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
  4. But he spake of the temple of his body.
  5. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
  1. そこで， ユダヤ 人は イエス に 言った， 「こんなことをするからには， どんなしるしをわたしたちに 見せてくれますか 」．
  2. イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた， 「この 神殿をこわしたら， わたしは 三日のうちに， それを 起すであろう 」．
  3. そこで， ユダヤ 人たちは 言った， 「この 神殿を 建てるのには， 四十六年もかかっています． それだのに， あなたは 三日のうちに， それを 建てるのですか 」．
  4. イエス は 自分のからだである 神殿のことを 言われたのである．
  5. それで， イエス が 死人の 中からよみがえったとき， 弟子たちは イエス がこう 言われたことを 思い 出して， 聖書と イエス のこの 言葉とを 信じた．
  1. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
  2. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
  3. And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
  1. 過越の 祭の 間， イエス が エルサレム に 滯在しておられたとき， 多くの 人¿は， その 行われたしるしを 見て， イエス の 名を 信じた．
  2. しかし イエス ご 自身は， 彼らに 自分をお 任せにならなかった． それは， すべての 人を 知っておられ，
  3. また 人についてあかしする 者を， 必要とされなかったからである． それは， ご 自身人の 心の 中にあることを 知っておられたからである．
