- For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

- My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
- Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
- How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

- あなたはわが 內臟をつくり， わが 母の 胎內でわたしを 組み 立てられました．
- わたしはあなたをほめたたえます． あなたは 恐るべく， くすしき 方だからです． あなたのみわざはくすしく， あなたは 最もよくわたしを 知っておられます．
- わたしが 隱れた 所で 造られ， 地の 深い 所でつづり 合わされたとき， わたしの 骨はあなたに 隱れることがなかった．
- あなたの 目は， まだできあがらないわたしのからだを 見られた． わたしのためにつくられたわがよわいの 日の ／まだ 一日もなかったとき， その 日はことごとくあなたの 書にしるされた．
- 神よ， あなたのもろもろのみ 思いは， なんとわたしに 尊いことでしょう． その 全體はなんと 廣大なことでしょう．

- If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
- Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
- For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
- Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
- I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

- わたしがこれを 數えようとすれば， その 數は 砂よりも 多い． わたしが 目ざめるとき， わたしはなおあなたと 共にいます．
- 神よ， どうか 惡しき 者を 殺してください． 血を 流す 者をわたしから 離れ 去らせてください．
- 彼らは 敵意をもってあなたをあなどり， あなたに 逆らって 高ぶり， 惡を 行う 人¿です．
- 主よ， わたしはあなたを 憎む 者を 憎み， あなたに 逆らって 起り 立つ 者を ／いとうではありませんか．
- わたしは 全く 彼らを 憎み， 彼らをわたしの 敵と 思います．

- Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
- And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
