	잠언 12:1-12:10 의인은 훈계를 받아들여 하나님의 은총을 받고 진실한 생각과 말을 하지만, 악인은 하나님의 정죄를 받으며 사람을 해치는 생각과 말을 한다.

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

戒めを愛する人は知識を愛する，懲らしめを憎む者は愚かである．

善人は主の惠みをうけ，惡い計りごとを設ける人は主に罰せられる．

人は惡をもって堅く立つことはできない，正しい人の根は動くことはない．

賢い妻はその夫の冠である，恥をこうむらせる妻は／夫の骨に生じた腐れのようなものである．

正しい人の考えは公正である，惡しき者の計ることは僞りである．

The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.

A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

惡しき者の言葉は，人の血を流そうとうかがう，正しい人の口は人を救う．

惡しき者は倒されて，うせ去る，正しい人の家は堅く立つ．

人はその悟りにしたがって，ほめられ，心のねじけた者は，卑しめられる．

身分の低い人でも自分で ¿く者は，みずから高ぶって食に乏しい者にまさる．

正しい人はその家畜の命を顧みる，惡しき者は殘忍をもって，あわれみとする．
