- There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

- あなたは， しもべのことをその 主人に， あしざまにいってはならない， そうでないと 彼はあなたをのろい， あなたは 罪をきせられる．
- 世には 父をのろったり， 母を 祝福しない 者がある．
- 世には 自分の 目にみずからを 淸い 者として， なおその 汚れを 洗われないものがある．
- 世にはまた， このような 人がある ――ああ， その 目のいかに 高きことよ， またそのまぶたのいかにつりあがっていることよ．
- 世にはまたつるぎのような 齒をもち， 刀のようなきばをもって， 貧しい 者を 地の 上から， 乏しい 者を 人の 中から 食い 滅ぼすものがある．

- 蛭にふたりの 娘があって， 「與えよ， 與えよ 」という． 飽くことを 知らないものが 三つある， いや， 四つあって， 皆「もう， たくさんです 」と 言わない．
- すなわち 陰府， 不妊の 胎， 水にかわく 地， 「もう， たくさんだ 」といわない 火がそれである．
