사도행전 20:1-20:38

 에베소를 떠난 바울은 마게도냐의 빌립보, 드로아, 밀레도에 이르는 전도 여행을 계속하였고, 밀레도에서 에베소 장로들을 향하여 마지막 고별 설교를 하였다.
  
  마게도냐, 드로아, 밀레도에서의 사역(20:1-20:16)    
 
  1. And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
  2. And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,
  3. And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.
  4. And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
  5. These going before tarried for us at Troas.
  1. この ¿動が 收まった 後， パウロ は 弟子たちを 呼び 集めて 勵まし， 別れを 告げてから マケドニア 州へと 出發した．
  2. そして， この 地方を 巡り 步き， 言葉を 盡くして 人¿を 勵ましながら， ギリシア に 來て，
  3. そこで 三か 月を 過ごした． パウロ は， シリア 州に 向かって 船出しようとしていたとき， 彼に 對する ユダヤ 人の 陰謀があったので， マケドニア 州を 通って 歸ることにした．
  4. 同行した 者は， ピロ の 子で ベレア 出身の ソパトロ ， テサロニケ の アリスタルコ と セクンド ， デルベ の ガイオ ， テモテ ， それに アジア 州出身の ティキコ と トロフィモ であった．
  5. この 人たちは， 先に 出發して トロアス でわたしたちを 待っていたが，
  1. And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
  2. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
  3. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
  4. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
  5. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
  1. わたしたちは， 除酵祭の 後 フィリピ から 船出し， 五日で トロアス に 來て 彼らと 落ち 合い， 七日間そこに 滯在した．
  2. 週の 初めの 日， わたしたちが パン を 裂くために 集まっていると， パウロ は 翌日出發する 予定で 人¿に 話をしたが， その 話は 夜中まで 續いた．
  3. わたしたちが 集まっていた 階上の 部屋には， たくさんのともし 火がついていた．
  4. エウティコ という 靑年が， 窓に 腰を 掛けていたが， パウロ の 話が 長¿と 續いたので， ひどく 眠氣を 催し， 眠りこけて 三階から 下に 落ちてしまった． 起こしてみると， もう 死んでいた．
  5. パウロ は 降りて 行き， 彼の 上にかがみ ¿み， 抱きかかえて 言った． 「¿ぐな． まだ 生きている． 」
  1. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
  2. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
  3. And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
  4. And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.
  5. And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.
  1. そして， また 上に 行って， パン を 裂いて 食べ， 夜明けまで 長い 間話し 續けてから 出發した．
  2. 人¿は 生き 返った 靑年を 連れて 歸り， 大いに 慰められた．
  3. さて， わたしたちは 先に 船に 乘り ¿み， アソス に 向けて 船出した． パウロ をそこから 乘船させる 予定であった． これは， パウロ 自身が 徒步で 旅行するつもりで， そう 指示しておいたからである．
  4. アソス で パウロ と 落ち 合ったので， わたしたちは 彼を 船に 乘せて ミティレネ に 着いた．
  5. 翌日， そこを 船出し， キオス 島の 沖を 過ぎ， その 次の 日 サモス 島に 寄港し， 更にその 翌日には ミレトス に 到着した．
  1. For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
  1. パウロ は， アジア 州で 時を 費やさないように， エフェソ には 寄らないで 航海することに 決めていたからである． できれば 五旬祭には エルサレム に 着いていたかったので， 旅を 急いだのである．
 
 
  1. And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
  2. And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
  3. Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
  4. And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
  5. Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
  1. パウロ は ミレトス から エフェソ に 人をやって， 敎會の 長老たちを 呼び 寄せた．
  2. 長老たちが 集まって 來たとき， パウロ はこう 話した． 「アジア 州に 來た 最初の 日以來， わたしがあなたがたと 共にどのように 過ごしてきたかは， よくご 存じです．
  3. すなわち， 自分を 全く 取るに 足りない 者と 思い， 淚を 流しながら， また， ユダヤ 人の 數¿の 陰謀によってこの 身にふりかかってきた 試練に 遭いながらも， 主にお 仕えしてきました．
  4. 役に 立つことは 一つ 殘らず， 公衆の 面前でも 方¿の 家でも， あなたがたに 傳え， また 敎えてきました．
  5. 神に 對する 悔い 改めと， わたしたちの 主 イエス に 對する 信仰とを， ユダヤ 人にも ギリシア 人にも 力强く 證ししてきたのです．
  1. And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
  2. Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
  3. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
  4. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
  5. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
  1. そして 今， わたしは， “靈 ＂に 促されて エルサレム に 行きます． そこでどんなことがこの 身に 起こるか， 何も 分かりません．
  2. ただ， 投獄と 苦難とがわたしを 待ち 受けているということだけは， 聖靈がどこの 町でもはっきり 告げてくださっています．
  3. しかし， 自分の 決められた 道を 走りとおし， また， 主 イエス からいただいた， 神の 惠みの 福音を 力强く 證しするという 任務を 果たすことができさえすれば， この 命すら 決して 惜しいとは 思いません．
  4. そして 今， あなたがたが 皆もう 二度とわたしの 顔を 見ることがないとわたしには 分かっています． わたしは， あなたがたの 間を 巡回して 御國を 宣べ 傳えたのです．
  5. だから， 特に 今日はっきり 言います． だれの 血についても， わたしには 責任がありません．
  1. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
  2. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
  3. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
  4. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
  5. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
  1. わたしは， 神の 御計畵をすべて， ひるむことなくあなたがたに 傳えたからです．
  2. どうか， あなたがた 自身と 群れ 全體とに 氣を 配ってください． 聖靈は， 神が 御子の 血によって 御自分のものとなさった 神の 敎會の 世話をさせるために， あなたがたをこの 群れの 監督者に 任命なさったのです．
  3. わたしが 去った 後に， 殘忍な 狼どもがあなたがたのところへ 入り ¿んで 來て 群れを 荒らすことが， わたしには 分かっています．
  4. また， あなたがた 自身の 中からも， 邪說を 唱えて 弟子たちを 從わせようとする 者が 現れます．
  5. だから， わたしが 三年間， あなたがた 一人一人に 夜も ¿も 淚を 流して 敎えてきたことを 思い 起こして， 目を 覺ましていなさい．
  1. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
  2. I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
  3. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
  4. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
  5. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
  1. そして 今， 神とその 惠みの 言葉とにあなたがたをゆだねます． この 言葉は， あなたがたを 造り 上げ， 聖なる 者とされたすべての 人¿と 共に 惠みを 受け 繼がせることができるのです．
  2. わたしは， 他人の 金銀や 衣服をむさぼったことはありません．
  3. ご 存じのとおり， わたしはこの 手で， わたし 自身の 生活のためにも， 共にいた 人¿のためにも ¿いたのです．
  4. あなたがたもこのように ¿いて 弱い 者を 助けるように， また， 主 イエス 御自身が『受けるよりは 與える 方が 幸いである 』と 言われた 言葉を 思い 出すようにと， わたしはいつも 身をもって 示してきました． 」
  5. このように 話してから， パウロ は 皆と 一緖にひざまずいて 祈った．
  1. And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,
  2. Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
  1. 人¿は 皆激しく 泣き， パウロ の 首を 抱いて 接吻した．
  2. 特に， 自分の 顔をもう 二度と 見ることはあるまいと パウロ が 言ったので， 非常に 悲しんだ． 人¿は パウロ を 船まで 見送りに 行った．
