- Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
- Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
- Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
- Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
- He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

- 彼らは， 闇と 死の 陰に 座る 者 ／貧苦と 鐵の 枷が 締めつける 捕われ 人となった．
- 神の 仰せに 反抗し ／いと 高き 神の 御計らいを 侮ったからだ．
- 主は 勞苦を 通して 彼らの 心を 挫かれた． 彼らは 倒れ， 助ける 者はなかった．
- 苦難の 中から 主に 助けを 求めて 叫ぶと ／主は 彼らの 苦しみに 救いを 與えられた．
- 闇と 死の 陰から 彼らを 導き 出し ／束縛するものを 斷ってくださった．

- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
- Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
- Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

- 主に 感謝せよ． 主は 慈しみ 深く ／人の 子らに 驚くべき 御業を 成し 遂げられる．
- 主は 靑銅の 扉を 破り ／鐵のかんぬきを ¿いてくださった．
- 彼らは， 無知であり， 背きと 罪の 道のために ／屈從する 身になった．
- どの 食べ 物も 彼らの 喉には 忌むべきもので ／彼らは 死の 門に 近づいた．
- 苦難の 中から 主に 助けを 求めて 叫ぶと ／主は 彼らの 苦しみに 救いを 與えられた．

- He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

- 主は 御言葉を 遣わして 彼らを 癒し ／破滅から 彼らを 救い 出された．
