욥기 34:1-36:33

 엘리후는 의롭다고 주장하는 욥을 악인에 비유하면서, 욥이 하나님을 거역하는 말을 많이 한다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님의 공의와 공평하심을 들어 욥을 비난하면서, 고난 가운데서 하나님께 불평하지 말라고 권고하였다.
  
  엘리후의 변론(34:1-36:33)    
 
  1. Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
  2. Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
  3. For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
  4. Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
  5. For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
  1. エリフ は 更に 言った．
  2. 知惠ある 者はわたしの 言葉を 聞き ／知識ある 者はわたしに 耳を 傾けよ．
  3. 耳は 言葉を 聞き 分け ／口は 食べ 物を 味わう．
  4. わたしたちは 何が 正しいかを 見分け ／何が 善いかを 識別しよう．
  5. ヨブ はこう 言っている． 「わたしは 正しい． だが 神は， この 主張を 退けられる．
  1. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
  2. What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
  3. Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
  4. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
  5. Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
  1. わたしは 正しいのに， うそつきとされ ／罪もないのに， 矢を 射かけられて 傷ついた． 」
  2. ヨブ のような 男がいるだろうか． 水に 代えて 嘲りで 喉をうるおし
  3. 惡を 行う 者にくみし ／神に 逆らう 者と 共に 步む．
  4. 「神に 喜ばれようとしても ／何の 益もない 」と 彼は 言っている．
  5. さて， 分別ある 者は， わたしの 言葉を 聞け． 神には 過ちなど， 決してない． 全能者には 不正など， 決してない．
  1. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
  2. Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
  3. Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
  4. If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
  5. All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
  1. 神は 人間の 行いに 從って 報い ／おのおのの 步みに 從って 與えられるのだ．
  2. 神が 罪を 犯すことは 決してない． 全能者は 正義を 曲げられない．
  3. 誰が 神に 全地をゆだね ／全世界を 負わせたというのか．
  4. もし 神が 御自分にのみ， 御心を 留め ／その 靈と 息吹を 御自分に 集められるなら
  5. 生きとし 生けるものは 直ちに 息絶え ／人間も 塵に 返るだろう．
  1. If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
  2. Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
  3. Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
  4. How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
  5. In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
  1. 理解しようとして， これを 聞け． わたしの 語る 聲に 耳を 傾けよ．
  2. 正義を 憎む 者が 統治できようか． 正しく， また， 力强いお 方を ／あなたは 罪に 定めるのか．
  3. 王者に 向かって「ならず 者 」と 言い ／貴い 方に 向かって「逆らう 者 」と 言うのか．
  4. 身分の 高い 者をひいきすることも ／貴族を 貧者より 尊重することもないお 方 ／御手によってすべての 人は 造られた．
  5. これらの 人も 瞬く 間に ／しかも 眞夜中に， 死んでいく． 權力ある 者は 身を 震わせて 消え 去り ／力ある 者は 人の 手によらず， 退けられる．
  1. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
  2. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
  3. For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
  4. He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
  5. Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
  1. 神は 人の 步む 道に 目を 注ぎ ／その 一步一步を 見ておられる．
  2. 惡を 行う 者が 身を 隱そうとしても ／暗黑もなければ， 死の 闇もない．
  3. 人は 神の 前に 出て 裁きを 受けるのだが ／神はその 時を 定めてはおられない．
  4. 數知れない 權力者を 打ち 倒し ／彼らに 代えて 他の 人¿を 立てられる．
  5. 彼らの 行いを 知っておられるので ／夜の 間にそれを 覆し， 彼らを ¿き
  1. He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
  2. Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
  3. So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
  4. When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
  5. That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
  1. 神に 逆らう 者として ／見せしめに， 彼らを 打たれる．
  2. 彼らが 神に 從わず ／その 道を 何ひとつ 受け 入れなかったからだ．
  3. その 時， 弱い 者の 叫びは 神に 屆き ／貧しい 者の 叫びは 聞かれる．
  4. 神が 默っておられるのに ／罪に 定めうる 者があろうか． 神が 顔を 背けられるのに ／目を 注ぐ 者があろうか ／國に 對してであれ 人間に 對してであれ．
  5. 神は， 神を 無視する 者が 王となり ／民を ┼にかけることがないようにされる．
  1. Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
  2. That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
  3. Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
  4. Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
  5. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
  1. 人が 神に 對してこう 言ったとする． 「わたしは 罰を 受けました． もう 惡いことはいたしません．
  2. わたしには 見えないことを， 示してください． わたしは 不正を 行いましたが ／もういたしません． 」
  3. この 言葉にどう 報いるかを 決めるのはあなたか． あなたは 神を 輕んじているではないか． 態度を 決めるのは， わたしではなくあなただ． よく 考えて 話しなさい．
  4. 理解ある 人はわたしに 言うだろう． 知惠ある 人はわたしに 同意するだろう．
  5. 「ヨブ はよく 分かって 話しているのではない． その 言葉は 思慮に 欠けている．
  1. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
  2. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
  1. 惡人のような 答え 方を ヨブ はする． 彼を 徹底的に 試すべきだ．
  2. まことに 彼は 過ちに 加えて 罪を 犯し ／わたしたちに 疑惑の 念を 起こさせ ／神に 向かってまくしたてている． 」
 
 
  1. Elihu spake moreover, and said,
  2. Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
  3. For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
  4. I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
  5. Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
  1. エリフ は 更に 言った．
  2. 「神はわたしを 正しいとしてくださるはずだ 」とあなたは 言っているが ／あなたのこの 考えは 正當だろうか．
  3. またあなたは 言う． 「わたしが 過ちを 犯したとしても ／あなたに 何の 利益があり ／わたしにどれほどの 得があるのか． 」
  4. あなたに， また 傍らにいる 友人たちに ／わたしはひとこと 言いたい．
  5. 天を 仰ぎ， よく 見よ． 頭上高く 行く 雲を 眺めよ．
  1. If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
  2. If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
  3. Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
  4. By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
  5. But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
  1. あなたが 過ちを 犯したとしても ／神にとってどれほどのことだろうか． 繰り 返し 背いたとしても ／神にとってそれが 何であろう．
  2. あなたが 正しくあっても ／それで 神に 何かを 與えることになり ／神があなたの 手から ／何かを 受け 取ることになるだろうか．
  3. あなたが 逆らっても， それはあなたと 同じ 人間に ／あなたが 正しくても ／それは 人の 子にかかわるだけなのだ．
  4. 抑壓が 激しくなれば 人は 叫びをあげ ／權力者の 腕にひしがれて， 助けを 求める．
  5. しかし， だれも 言わない ／「どこにいますのか， わたしの 造り 主なる 神 ／夜， 歌を 與える 方
  1. Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
  2. There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
  3. Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
  4. Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
  5. But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
  1. 地の ¿によって 敎え ／空の 鳥によって 知惠を 授ける 方は 」と．
  2. だから， 叫んでも 答えてくださらないのだ． 惡者が 高慢にふるまうからだ．
  3. 神は 僞りを 聞かれず ／全能者はそれを 顧みられない．
  4. あなたは 神を 見ることができないと 言うが ／あなたの 訴えは 御前にある． あなたは 神を 待つべきなのだ．
  5. 今はまだ， 怒りの 時ではなく ／神はこの 甚だしい 無馱口を 無視なさるので
  1. Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
  1. ヨブ は 空しく 口數を 增し ／愚かにも 言葉を 重ねている．
 
 
  1. Elihu also proceeded, and said,
  2. Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
  3. I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
  4. For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
  5. Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
  1. エリフ は 更に 言葉を 續けた．
  2. 待て， もう 少しわたしに 話させてくれ． 神について 言うべきことがまだある．
  3. 遠くまで 及ぶわたしの 考えを 述べて ／わたしの 造り 主が 正しいということを 示そう．
  4. まことにわたしの 言うことに 僞りはない． 完全な 知識を 持つ 方をあなたに 示そう．
  5. まことに 神は 力强く， たゆむことなく ／力强く， 知惠に 滿ちておられる．
  1. He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
  2. He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
  3. And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
  4. Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
  5. He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
  1. 神に 逆らう 者を 生かしてはおかず ／貧しい 人に 正しい 裁きをしてくださる．
  2. 神に 從う 人から 目を 離すことなく ／王者と 共に 座につかせ ／とこしえに， 彼らを 高められる．
  3. 捕われの 身となって 足枷をはめられ ／苦惱の ¿に 縛られている 人があれば
  4. その 行いを 指摘し ／その 罪の 重さを 指し 示される．
  5. その 耳を 開いて 戒め ／惡い 行いを 改めるように 諭される．
  1. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
  2. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
  3. But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
  4. They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
  5. He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
  1. もし， これに 耳を 傾けて 從うなら ／彼らはその 日¿を 幸いのうちに ／年月を 惠みのうちに 全うすることができる．
  2. しかし， これに 耳を 傾けなければ ／死の 川を 渡り， 愚か 者のまま 息絶える．
  3. 神を 無視する 心を 持つ 者は ／鎖につながれていても ／怒りに 燃え， 助けを 求めようとしない．
  4. 彼らの 魂は 若いうちに 死を 迎え ／命は 神殿男娼のように 短い．
  5. 神は 貧しい 人をその 貧苦を 通して 救い 出し ／苦惱の 中で 耳を 開いてくださる．
  1. Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
  2. But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
  3. Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
  4. Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
  5. Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
  1. 神はあなたにも ／苦難の 中から 出ようとする 氣持を 與え ／苦難に 代えて 廣い 所でくつろがせ ／あなたのために 食卓を 整え ／豊かな 食べ 物を 備えてくださるのだ．
  2. あなたが 罪人の 受ける 刑に 服するなら ／裁きの 正しさが 保たれるだろう．
  3. だから 注意せよ ／富の 力に 惑わされないように． 身代金が 十分あるからといって ／道を 誤らないように．
  4. 苦難を 經なければ， どんなに 叫んでも ／力を 盡くしても， それは 役に 立たない．
  5. 夜をあえぎ 求めるな． 人¿がその 場で 消え 去らねばならない 夜を．
  1. Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
  2. Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
  3. Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
  4. Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
  5. Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
  1. 警戒せよ ／惡い 行いに 顔を 向けないように． 苦惱によって 試されているのは ／まさにこのためなのだ．
  2. まことに 神は 力に 秀でている． 神のような 敎師があるだろうか．
  3. 誰が 神の 道を 見張り ／「あなたのすることは 惡い 」と 言えようか．
  4. 世の 人は 神の 御業に 贊美の 歌をうたう． あなたも 心して， ほめたたえよ．
  5. 人は 皆， 御業を 仰ぎ ／はるかかなたから 望み 見ている．
  1. Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
  2. For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
  3. Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
  4. Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
  5. Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
  1. まことに 神は 偉大， 神を 知ることはできず ／その 齡を 數えることもできない．
  2. 神は 水滴を 御もとに 集め ／霧のような 雨を 降らす．
  3. 雲は 雨となって 滴り ／多くの 人の 上に 降り 注ぐ．
  4. どのように 雨雲が 廣がり ／神の 假庵が 雷鳴をとどろかせるかを ／悟りうる 者があろうか．
  5. 神はその 上に 光を 放ち ／海の 根を 覆われる．
  1. For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
  2. With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
  3. The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
  1. それによって 諸國の 民を 治め ／豊かに 食べ 物を 與えられる．
  2. 神は 御手に 稻妻の 光をまとい ／的を 定め， それに 指令し
  3. 御自分の 思いを 表される． 惡に 對する 激しい 怒りを．
