- アブラハム は, 神が 人を 死者の 中から 生き 返らせることもおできになると 信じたのです. それで 彼は, イサク を 返してもらいましたが, それは 死者の 中から 返してもらったも 同然です.
- 信仰によって, イサク は, 將來のことについても, ヤコブ と エサウ のために 祝福を 祈りました.
- 信仰によって, ヤコブ は 死に 臨んで, ヨセフ の 息子たちの 一人一人のために 祝福を 祈り, 杖の 先に 寄りかかって 神を 禮拜しました.
