에스겔 4:1-6:14

 하나님께서는 에스겔의 상징적 행동을 통해 예루살렘에 임할 임박한 심판의 상황을 미리 보여 주셨다. 그것은 백성들의 죄로 인해 예루살렘이 바벨론 군대에 의해 포위당하고 그 성에 온역과 전쟁과 기근이 임하며 이스라엘 온 땅이 우상 숭배로 파멸된다는 것이었다. 그러나 포로로 잡혀간 백성들 중 남은 자는 회개할 것임을 말씀하셨다.
  
  예루살렘의 멸망을 상징하는 예언적 행동(4:1-5:17)    
 
  1. Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
  2. And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
  3. Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
  4. Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
  5. For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
  1. 너 인자야 토판을 가져다가 그것을 네 앞에 놓고 한 성읍 곧 예루살렘을 그 위에 그리고
  2. 그 성읍을 에워싸되 그것을 향하여 사다리를 세우고 그것을 향하여 흙으로 언덕을 쌓고 그것을 향하여 진을 치고 그것을 향하여 공성퇴를 둘러 세우고
  3. 또 철판을 가져다가 너와 성읍 사이에 두어 철벽을 삼고 성을 포위하는 것처럼 에워싸라 이것이 이스라엘 족속에게 징조가 되리라
  4. 너는 또 왼쪽으로 누워 이스라엘 족속의 죄악을 짊어지되 네가 눕는 날수대로 그 죄악을 담당할지니라
  5. 내가 그들의 범죄한 햇수대로 네게 날수를 정하였나니 곧 삼백구십 일이니라 너는 이렇게 이스라엘 족속의 죄악을 담당하고
  1. And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
  2. Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
  3. And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
  4. Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
  5. And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
  1. 그 수가 차거든 너는 오른쪽으로 누워 유다 족속의 죄악을 담당하라 내가 네게 사십 일로 정하였나니 하루가 일 년이니라
  2. 너는 또 네 얼굴을 에워싸인 예루살렘 쪽으로 향하고 팔을 걷어 올리고 예언하라
  3. 내가 줄로 너를 동이리니 네가 에워싸는 날이 끝나기까지 몸을 이리 저리 돌리지 못하리라
  4. 너는 밀과 보리와 콩과 팥과 조와 귀리를 가져다가 한 그릇에 담고 너를 위하여 떡을 만들어 네가 옆으로 눕는 날수 곧 삼백구십 일 동안 먹되
  5. 너는 음식물을 달아서 하루 이십 세겔씩 때를 따라 먹고
  1. Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
  2. And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
  3. And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
  4. Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
  5. Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
  1. 물도 육분의 일 힌씩 되어서 때를 따라 마시라
  2. 너는 그것을 보리떡처럼 만들어 먹되 그들의 목전에서 인분 불을 피워 구울지니라
  3. 또 여호와께서 이르시되 내가 여러 나라들로 쫓아내어 흩어 버릴 이스라엘 자손이 거기서 이같이 부정한 떡을 먹으리라 하시기로
  4. 내가 말하되 아하 주 여호와여 나는 영혼을 더럽힌 일이 없었나이다 어려서부터 지금까지 스스로 죽은 것이나 짐승에게 찢긴 것을 먹지 아니하였고 가증한 고기를 입에 넣지 아니하였나이다
  5. 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 보라 쇠똥으로 인분을 대신하기를 허락하노니 너는 그것으로 떡을 구울지니라
  1. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
  2. That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
  1. 또 내게 이르시되 인자야 내가 예루살렘에서 의뢰하는 양식을 끊으리니 백성이 근심 중에 떡을 달아 먹고 두려워 떨며 물을 되어 마시다가
  2. 떡과 물이 부족하여 피차에 두려워 하여 떨며 그 죄악 중에서 쇠패하리라
 
 
  1. And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
  2. Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
  3. Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
  4. Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
  5. Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
  1. 너 인자야 너는 날카로운 칼을 가져다가 삭도로 삼아 네 머리털과 수염을 깎아서 저울로 달아 나누어 두라
  2. 그 성읍을 에워싸는 날이 차거든 너는 터럭 삼분의 일은 성읍 안에서 불사르고 삼분의 일은 성읍 사방에서 칼로 치고 또 삼분의 일은 바람에 흩으라 내가 그 뒤를 따라 칼을 빼리라
  3. 너는 터럭 중에서 조금을 네 옷자락에 싸고
  4. 또 그 가운데에서 얼마를 불에 던져 사르라 그 속에서 불이 이스라엘 온 족속에게로 나오리라
  5. 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 이르시되 이것이 곧 예루살렘이라 내가 그를 이방인 가운데에 두어 나라들이 둘러 있게 하였거늘
  1. And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
  2. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
  3. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
  4. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
  5. Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
  1. 그가 내 규례를 거슬러서 이방인보다 악을 더 행하며 내 율례도 그리함이 그를 둘러 있는 나라들보다 더하니 이는 그들이 내 규례를 버리고 내 율례를 행하지 아니하였음이니라
  2. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 너희 요란함이 너희를 둘러싸고 있는 이방인들보다 더하여 내 율례를 행하지 아니하며 내 규례를 지키지 아니하고 너희를 둘러 있는 이방인들의 규례대로도 행하지 아니하였느니라
  3. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 나 곧 내가 너를 치며 이방인의 목전에서 너에게 벌을 내리되
  4. 네 모든 가증한 일로 말미암아 내가 전무후무하게 네게 내릴지라
  5. 그리한즉 네 가운데에서 아버지가 아들을 잡아먹고 아들이 그 아버지를 잡아먹으리라 내가 벌을 네게 내리고 너희 중에 남은 자를 다 사방에 흩으리라
  1. Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
  2. A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
  3. Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
  4. Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
  5. So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
  1. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 네가 모든 미운 물건과 모든 가증한 일로 내 성소를 더럽혔은즉 나도 너를 아끼지 아니하며 긍휼을 베풀지 아니하고 미약하게 하리니
  2. 너희 가운데에서 삼분의 일은 전염병으로 죽으며 기근으로 멸망할 것이요 삼분의 일은 너의 사방에서 칼에 엎드러질 것이며 삼분의 일은 내가 사방에 흩어 버리고 또 그 뒤를 따라 가며 칼을 빼리라
  3. 이와 같이 내 노가 다한즉 그들을 향한 분이 풀려서 내 마음이 가라앉으리라 내 분이 그들에게 다한즉 나 여호와가 열심으로 말한 줄을 그들이 알리라
  4. 내가 이르되 또 너를 황무하게 하고 너를 둘러싸고 있는 이방인들 중에서 모든 지나가는 자의 목전에 모욕 거리가 되게 하리니
  5. 내 노와 분과 중한 책망으로 네게 벌을 내린즉 너를 둘러싸고 있는 이방인들에게 네가 수치와 조롱 거리가 되고 두려움과 경고가 되리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
  1. When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
  2. So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.
  1. 내가 멸망하게 하는 기근의 독한 화살을 너희에게 보내되 기근을 더하여 너희가 의뢰하는 양식을 끊을 것이라
  2. 내가 기근과 사나운 짐승을 너희에게 보내 외롭게 하고 너희 가운데에 전염병과 살륙이 일어나게 하고 또 칼이 너희에게 임하게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
 
  우상 숭배에 대한 심판(6:1-6:14)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  2. Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
  3. And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
  4. And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
  5. And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
  1. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
  2. 인자야 너는 이스라엘 산을 향하여 그들에게 예언하여
  3. 이르기를 이스라엘 산들아 주 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 주 여호와께서 산과 언덕과 시내와 골짜기를 향하여 이같이 말씀하시기를 나 곧 내가 칼이 너희에게 임하게 하여 너희 산당을 멸하리니
  4. 너희 제단들이 황폐하고 분향제단들이 깨뜨려질 것이며 너희가 죽임을 당하여 너희 우상 앞에 엎드러지게 할 것이라
  5. 이스라엘 자손의 시체를 그 우상 앞에 두며 너희 해골을 너희 제단 사방에 흩으리라
  1. In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
  2. And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
  3. Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
  4. And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
  5. And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
  1. 내가 너희가 거주하는 모든 성읍이 사막이 되게 하며 산당을 황폐하게 하리니 이는 너희 제단이 깨어지고 황폐하며 너희 우상들이 깨어져 없어지며 너희 분향제단들이 찍히며 너희가 만든 것이 폐하여지며
  2. 또 너희가 죽임을 당하여 엎드러지게 하여 내가 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알게 하려 함이라
  3. 그러나 너희가 여러 나라에 흩어질 때에 내가 너희 중에서 칼을 피하여 이방인들 중에 살아 남은 자가 있게 할지라
  4. 너희 중에서 살아 남은 자가 사로잡혀 이방인들 중에 있어서 나를 기억하되 그들이 음란한 마음으로 나를 떠나고 음란한 눈으로 우상을 섬겨 나를 근심하게 한 것을 기억하고 스스로 한탄하리니 이는 그 모든 가증한 일로 악을 행하였음이라
  5. 그 때에야 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 내가 이런 재앙을 그들에게 내리겠다 한 말이 헛되지 아니하니라
  1. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
  2. He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
  3. Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
  4. So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  1. 주 여호와께서 이같이 이르시되 너는 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 말할지어다 오호라 이스라엘 족속이 모든 가증한 악을 행하므로 마침내 칼과 기근과 전염병에 망하되
  2. 먼 데 있는 자는 전염병에 죽고 가까운 데 있는 자는 칼에 엎드러지고 남아 있어 에워싸인 자는 기근에 죽으리라 이같이 내 진노를 그들에게 이룬즉
  3. 그 죽임 당한 시체들이 그 우상들 사이에, 제단 사방에, 각 높은 고개 위에, 모든 산 꼭대기에, 모든 푸른 나무 아래에, 무성한 상수리나무 아래 곧 그 우상에게 분향하던 곳에 있으리니 내가 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라
  4. 내가 내 손을 그들의 위에 펴서 그가 사는 온 땅 곧 광야에서부터 디블라까지 황량하고 황폐하게 하리니 내가 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
