  À縲¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Áغñ(12:35-12:59)

  1. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
  2. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
  3. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
  4. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
  5. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
  1. "Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.
  2. "Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.
  3. "Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them.
  4. "Whether he comes in the second watch, or even in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves.
  5. "But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
  1. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
  2. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
  3. And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
  4. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
  5. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
  1. "You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect."
  2. Peter said, "Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?"
  3. And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?
  4. "Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
  5. "Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
  1. But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
  2. The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
  3. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
  4. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
  5. I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
  1. "But if that slave says in his heart, 'My master will be a long time in coming,' and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;
  2. the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
  3. "And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes,
  4. but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.
  5. "I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!
  1. But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
  2. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
  3. For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
  4. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
  5. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
  1. "But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!
  2. "Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division;
  3. for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.
  4. "They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
  5. And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming,' and so it turns out.
  1. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
  2. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
  3. Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
  4. When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
  5. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.
  1. "And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, 'It will be a hot day,' and it turns out that way.
  2. "You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?
  3. "And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right?
  4. "For while you are going with your opponent to appear before the magistrate, on your way there make an effort to settle with him, so that he may not drag you before the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
  5. "I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent."
