º£µå·Î´Â ¼ºµµÀÇ ¼Ò¸ÁÀÌ ½âÁö ¾Ê°í ´õ·´Áö ¾Ê°í ¼èÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â ±â¾÷À» ¾ò´Â °ÍÀ̸ç, ÀÌ°ÍÀº ¼ºµµ¸¦ À§ÇØ Çϳª´Ô²²¼­ ¸¸¼¼ ÀüºÎÅÍ ÁغñÇÑ ±¸¿øÀ̶ó°í ¹àÇû´Ù.
 
  ±¸¿ø °èȹ(1:1-1:12)    
 
  1. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
  2. Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
  3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
  4. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
  5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
  1. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen
  2. according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.
  3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
  4. to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
  5. who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
  1. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
  2. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
  3. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
  4. Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
  5. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
  1. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
  2. so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
  3. and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
  4. obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
  5. As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries,
  1. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
  2. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
  1. seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.
  2. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things into which angels long to look.
