- And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
- I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
- For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
- For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
- Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

- 형제들아 내가 신령한 자들을 대함과 같이 너희에게 말할 수 없어서 육신에 속한 자 곧 그리스도 안에서 어린 아이들을 대함과 같이 하노라
- 내가 너희를 젖으로 먹이고 밥으로 아니하였노니 이는 너희가 감당치 못하였음이거니와 지금도 못하리라
- 너희가 아직도 육신에 속한 자로다 너희 가운데 시기와 분쟁이 있으니 어찌 육신에 속하여 사람을 따라 행함이 아니리요
- 어떤이는 말하되 나는 바울에게라 하고 다른이는 나는 아볼로에게라 하니 너희가 사람이 아니리요
- 그런즉 아볼로는 무엇이며 바울은 무엇이뇨 저희는 주께서 각각 주신대로 너희로 하여금 믿게 한 사역자들이니라
