- 小羊が 第七の 封印を 解いた 時， 半時間ばかり 天に 靜けさがあった．
- それからわたしは， 神のみまえに 立っている 七人の 御使を 見た． そして， 七つの ラッパ が 彼らに 與えられた．
- また， 別の 御使が 出てきて， 金の 香爐を 手に 持って 祭壇の 前に 立った． たくさんの 香が 彼に 與えられていたが， これは， すべての 聖徒の 祈に 加えて， 御座の 前の 金の 祭壇の 上にささげるためのものであった．
- 香の 煙は， 御使の 手から， 聖徒たちの 祈と 共に 神のみまえに 立ちのぼった．
- 御使はその 香爐をとり， これに 祭壇の 火を 滿たして， 地に 投げつけた． すると， 多くの 雷鳴と， もろもろの 聲と， いなずまと， 地震とが 起った．

- When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
- And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
- Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.
- The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.
- Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

- そこで， 七つの ラッパ を 持っている 七人の 御使が， それを 吹く 用意をした．
- 第一の 御使が， ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 血のまじった 音と 火とがあらわれて， 地上に 降ってきた． そして， 地の 三分の 一が 燒け， 木の 三分の 一が 燒け， また， すべての 靑草も 燒けてしまった．
- 第二の 御使が， ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 火の 燃えさかっている 大きな 山のようなものが， 海に 投げ ¿まれた． そして， 海の 三分の 一は 血となり，
- 海の 中の 造られた 生き 物の 三分の 一は 死に， 舟の 三分の 一がこわされてしまった．
- 第三の 御使が， ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， たいまつのように 燃えている 大きな 星が， 空から 落ちてきた． そしてそれは， 川の 三分の 一とその 水源との 上に 落ちた．

- Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
- The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
- The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,
- a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
- The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water--

- この 星の 名は「苦よもぎ 」と 言い， 水の 三分の 一が「苦よもぎ 」のように 苦くなった． 水が 苦くなったので， そのために 多くの 人が 死んだ．
- 第四の 御使が， ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 太陽の 三分の 一と， 月の 三分の 一と， 星の 三分の 一とが 打たれて， これらのものの 三分の 一は 暗くなり， ¿の 三分の 一は 明るくなくなり， 夜も 同じようになった．
- また， わたしが 見ていると， 一羽のわしが 中空を 飛び， 大きな 聲でこう 言うのを 聞いた， 「ああ， わざわいだ， わざわいだ， 地に 住む 人¿は， わざわいだ． なお 三人の 御使が ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らそうとしている 」．
