- モ ― セ と イスラエル の 長老たちとは 民に 命じて 言った， 「わたしが， きょう， あなたがたに 命じるすべての 戒めを 守りなさい．
- あなたがたが ヨルダン を 渡ってあなたの 神， 主が 賜わる 國にはいる 時， あなたは 大きな 石數個を 立てて， それにしっくいを 塗り，
- そしてあなたが 渡って， あなたの 先祖たちの 神， 主が 約束されたようにあなたの 神， 主が 賜わる 地， すなわち 乳と 蜜の 流れる 地にはいる 時， この 律法のすべての 言葉をその 上に 書きしるさなければならない．
- すなわち， あなたがたが， ヨルダン を 渡ったならば， わたしが， きょう， あなたがたに 命じるそれらの 石を エバル 山に 立て， それにしっくいを 塗らなければならない．
- またそこにあなたの 神， 主のために， 祭壇， すなわち 石の 祭壇を 築かなければならない． 鐵の 器を 石に 當てず，

- And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
- And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
- And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
- Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
- And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

- 自然のままの 石であなたの 神， 主のために 祭壇を 築き， その 上であなたの 神， 主に §祭をささげなければならない．
- また 酬恩祭の ¿牲をささげて， その 所で 食べ， あなたの 神， 主の 前で 喜び 樂しまなければならない．

- それゆえ， あなたの 神， 主の 聲に 聞き 從い， わたしが， きょう， 命じる 戒めと 定めとを 行わなければならない 」．

- Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
- And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
- And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
- And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
- Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

- その 日また モ ― セ は 民に 命じて 言った，
- 「あなたがたが ヨルダン を 渡った 時， 次の 人たちは ゲリジム 山に 立って 民を 祝福しなければならない． すなわち シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ， イッサカル ， ヨセフ および ベニヤミン ．
- また 次の 人たちは エバル 山に 立ってのろわなければならない． すなわち ルベン ， ガド ， アセル ， ゼブルン ， ダン および ナフタリ ．
- そして レビ びとは 大聲で イスラエル のすべての 人¿に 告げて 言わなければならない．
- 『工人の 手の 作である 刻んだ 像， または 鑄た 像は， 主が 憎まれるものであるから， それを 造って， ひそかに 安置する 者はのろわれる 』． 民は， みな 答えて アァメン と 言わなければならない．

- And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
- These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
- And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
- And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
- Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

- 『父や 母を 輕んずる 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『隣人との 土地の 境を 移す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『盲人を 道に 迷わす 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『寄留の 他國人や 孤兒， 寡婦のさばきを 曲げる 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『父の 妻を 犯す 者は， 父を 恥ずかしめるのであるからのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．

- Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

- 『すべて ¿を 犯す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『父の 娘， または 母の 娘である 自分の 姉妹を 犯す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『妻の 母を 犯す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『ひそかに 隣人を 擊ち 殺す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．
- 『まいないを 取って 罪なき 者を 殺す 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．

- Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
- Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

- 『この 律法の 言葉を 守り 行わない 者はのろわれる 』． 民はみな アァメン と 言わなければならない．

- Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
