사무엘하

  본서는 다윗의 통치를 통해 하나님을 대리하여 통치하는 신정 국가의 이상을 보여 주고 있다. 다윗이 하나님의 뜻을 따라 성실과 공의로 다스리는 모습을 기록함으로써 장차 왕으로 오실 그리스도의 통치를 보여 주고 있다. 아울러 다윗의 성공과 실패를 통하여 인생에 있어서의 성공의 관건은 하나님에 대한 신앙 유지에 있음을 가르쳐 준다.

  사울이 죽은 후 왕위에 등극한 다윗은 왕국의 기틀을 공고히 하기 위한 제반 조치와 함께 성공적인 정복 전쟁을 통해 영토를 애굽에서 유브라데까지 확장시킨다. 또한 다윗은 밧세바 사건으로 말미암아 갖가지 재난을 겪고, 여러 가지 사건들을 하나님의 은혜로 극복한다.

 

 

사무엘하 1:1-2:32

 사울과 요나단의 죽음을 전해 들은 다윗은 그들을 추모하는 애가를 지어 불렀다. 유다 지파의 왕으로 등극한 다윗은 사울을 장사한 야베스 사람들을 축복했다. 사울의 군장 아브넬이 사울의 아들 이스보셋을 왕으로 세움으로써 다윗의 집과 사울의 집 사이의 싸움은 계속되었다. 다윗의 군장 요압은 기브온 전투에서 아브넬에게 승리를 거두었으나 동생 아사헬을 잃었다.
  
  사울과 요나단의 죽음을 애도하는 다윗(1:1-1:27)    
 
  1. サウル が 死んだ 後， ダビデ は アマレク びとを 擊って 歸り， ふつかの 間 チクラグ にとどまっていたが，
  2. 三日目となって， ひとりの 人が， その 着物を 裂き， 頭に 土をかぶって， サウル の 陣營からきた． そして ダビデ のもとにきて， 地に 伏して 拜した．
  3. ダビデ は 彼に 言った， 「あなたはどこからきたのか 」． 彼は ダビデ に 言った， 「わたしは イスラエル の 陣營から， のがれてきたのです 」．
  4. ダビデ は 彼に 言った， 「樣子はどうであったか 話しなさい 」． 彼は 答えた， 「民は 戰いから 逃げ， 民の 多くは 倒れて 死に， サウル とその 子 ヨナタン もまた 死にました 」．
  5. ダビデ は 自分と 話している 若者に 言った， 「あなたは サウル とその 子 ヨナタン が 死んだのを， どうして 知ったのか 」．
  1. Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
  2. It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
  3. And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.
  4. And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
  5. And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?
  1. 彼に 話している 若者は 言った， 「わたしは， はからずも， ギルボア 山にいましたが， サウル はそのやりによりかかっており， 戰車と 騎兵とが 彼に 攻め 寄ろうとしていました．

  1. And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
  2. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
  3. And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
  4. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.
  5. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
  1. そのとき ダビデ は 自分の 着物をつかんでそれを 裂き， 彼と 共にいた 人¿も 皆同じようにした．
  2. 彼らは サウル のため， またその 子 ヨナタン のため， また 主の 民のため， また イスラエル の 家のために 悲しみ 泣いて， 夕暮まで 食を 斷った． それは 彼らがつるぎに 倒れたからである．
  3. ダビデ は 自分と 話していた 若者に 言った， 「あなたはどこの 人ですか 」． 彼は 言った， 「アマレク びとで， 寄留の 他國人の 子です 」．

  1. Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:
  2. And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
  3. And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
  4. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?
  5. And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

  1. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed.
  2. And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
  3. (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)
  4. The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
  5. Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
  1. ギルボア の 山よ， ／露はおまえの 上におりるな． 死の 野よ， ／雨もおまえの 上に 降るな． その 所に 勇士たちの 盾は 捨てられ， ／ サウル の 盾は 油を 塗らずに 捨てられた．
  2. 殺した 者の 血を 飮まずには， ／ ヨナタン の 弓は 退かず， ／勇士の 脂肪を 食べないでは， ／ サウル のつるぎは， むなしくは 歸らなかった．
  3. サウル と ヨナタン とは， 愛され， かつ 喜ばれた． 彼らは 生きるにも， 死ぬにも 離れず， ／わしよりも 早く， ／ししよりも 强かった．

  1. Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
  2. From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
  3. Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
  4. Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
  5. How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
  1. わが 兄弟 ヨナタン よ， あなたのためわたしは 悲しむ． あなたはわたしにとって， いとも 樂しい 者であった． あなたがわたしを 愛するのは 世の 常のようでなく， ／女の 愛にもまさっていた．
  2. ああ， 勇士たちは 倒れた． 戰いの 器はうせた 」．
  1. I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.
  2. How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!

  1. この 後， ダビデ は 主に 問うて 言った， 「わたしは ユダ の 一つの 町に 上るべきでしょうか 」． 主は 彼に 言われた， 「上りなさい 」． ダビデ は 言った， 「どこへ 上るべきでしょうか 」． 主は 言われた， 「ヘブロン へ 」．
  2. そこで ダビデ はその 所へ 上った． 彼のふたりの 妻， エズレル の 女 アヒノアム と， カルメル びと ナバル の 妻であった アビガイル も 上った．

  1. And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
  2. So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.
  3. And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
  4. And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.
  5. And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.
  1. どうぞ 主がいまあなたがたに， いつくしみと 眞實を 示されるように． あなたがたが， この 事をしたので， わたしもまたあなたがたに 好意を 示すであろう．
  2. 今あなたがたは 手を 强くし， 雄¿しくあれ． あなたがたの 主君 サウル は 死に， ユダ の 家がわたしに 油を 注いで， 彼らの 王としたからである 」．
  3. さて サウル の 軍の 長， ネル の 子 アブネル は， さきに サウル の 子 イシボセテ を 取り， マハナイム に 連れて 渡り，
  4. 彼を ギレアデ ， アシュル びと， エズレル ， エフライム ， ベニヤミン および 全 イスラエル の 王とした．

  1. And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
  2. Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.
  3. But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;
  4. And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
  5. Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
  1. ダビデ が ヘブロン にいて ユダ の 家の 王であった 日數は 七年と 六か 月であった．
  2. ネル の 子 アブネル ， および サウル の 子 イシボセテ の 家來たちは マハナイム を 出て ギベオン へ 行った．

  1. And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.
  2. And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
  3. And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
  4. And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
  5. Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
  1. おのおの 相手の 頭を 捕え， つるぎを 相手のわき 腹に 刺し， こうして 彼らは 共に 倒れた． それゆえ， その 所は ヘルカテ · ハヅリム と 呼ばれた． それは ギベオン にある．
  2. その 日， 戰いはひじょうに 激しく， アブネル と イスラエル の 人¿は ダビデ の 家來たちの 前に 敗れた．

  1. And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
  2. And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.
  3. And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
  4. And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
  5. Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.
  1. アブネル は 彼に 言った， 「右か 左に 曲って， 若者のひとりを 捕え， そのよろいを 奪いなさい 」． しかし アサヘル は アブネル を 追うことをやめず， ほかに 向かおうともしなかった．

  3. それでもなお 彼は， ほかに 向かうことを 拒んだので， アブネル は， やりの 石突きで 彼の 腹を 突いたので， やりはその 背中に 出た． 彼はそこに 倒れて， その 場で 死んだ． そして アサヘル が 倒れて 死んでいる 場所に 來る 者は 皆立ちとどまった．
  4. しかし ヨアブ と アビシャイ とは， なお アブネル のあとを 追ったが， 彼らが ギベオン の 荒野の 道のほとり， ギア の 前にある アンマ の 山にきた 時， 日は 暮れた．
  5. ベニヤミン の 人¿は アブネル のあとについてきて， 集まり， 一隊となって， 一つの 山の 頂に 立った．
  1. And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
  2. And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
  3. Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
  4. Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.
  5. And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
  1. その 時 アブネル は ヨアブ に 呼ばわって 言った， 「いつまでもつるぎをもって 滅ぼそうとするのか． あなたはその 結果の 悲慘なのを 知らないのか． いつまで 民にその 兄弟を 追うことをやめよと 命じないのか 」．
  2. ヨアブ は 言った， 「神は 生きておられる． もしあなたが 言いださなかったならば， 民はおのおのその 兄弟を 追わずに， 朝のうちに 去っていたであろう 」．
  3. こうして ヨアブ は 角笛を 吹いたので， 民はみな 立ちとどまって， もはや イスラエル のあとを 追わず， また 重ねて 戰わなかった．
  4. アブネル とその 從者たちは， 夜もすがら， アラバ を 通って 行き， ヨルダン を 渡り， ¿まで 行進を 續けて マハナイム に 着いた．
  5. ヨアブ は アブネル を 追うことをやめて 歸り， 民をみな 集めたが， ダビデ の 家來たち 十九人と アサヘル とが 見當らなかった．
  1. Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
  2. And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
  3. So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
  4. And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.
  5. And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.
  1. しかし， ダビデ の 家來たちは， アブネル の 從者である ベニヤミン の 人¿三百六十人を 擊ち 殺した．
  2. 人¿は アサヘル を 取り 上げて ベツレヘム にあるその 父の 墓に 葬った． ヨアブ とその 從者たちは， 夜もすがら 行って， 夜明けに ヘブロン に 着いた．
  1. But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.
  2. And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
