열왕기상 11:1-11:43

 왕국의 번영이 절정에 이르렀을 때, 솔로몬이 하나님의 계명을 어기고 이방 여인과 통혼하여 그들의 유혹에 빠져 우상을 숭배하는 죄를 범하자 그를 대적하는 무리들이 일어났다. 하나님께서는 선지자 아히야를 통하여 나라를 솔로몬의 손에서 빼앗아 여로보암에게 나누어 주시겠다고 예언하셨다.
  
  솔로몬의 타락(11:1-11:25)    
 
  1. ソロモン 王は 多くの 外國の 女を 愛した． すなわち パロ の 娘， モアブ びと， アンモン びと， エドム びと， シドン びと， ヘテ びとの 女を 愛した．
  2. 主はかつてこれらの 國民について， イスラエル の 人¿に 言われた， 「あなたがたは 彼らと 交わってはならない． 彼らもまたあなたがたと 交わってはならない． 彼らは 必ずあなたがたの 心を 轉じて 彼らの 神¿に 從わせるからである 」． しかし ソロモン は 彼らを 愛して 離れなかった．
  3. 彼には 王妃としての 妻七百人， そばめ 三百人があった． その 妻たちが 彼の 心を 轉じたのである．
  4. ソロモン が 年老いた 時， その 妻たちが 彼の 心を 轉じて 他の 神¿に 從わせたので， 彼の 心は 父 ダビデ の 心のようには， その 神， 主に 眞實でなかった．
  5. これは ソロモン が シドン びとの 女神 アシタロテ に 從い， アンモン びとの 神である 憎むべき 者 ミルコム に 從ったからである．
  1. But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites:
  2. Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
  3. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
  4. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
  5. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
  1. このように ソロモン は 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行い， 父 ダビデ のように 全くは 主に 從わなかった．
  2. そして ソロモン は モアブ の 神である 憎むべき 者 ケモシ のために， また アンモン の 人¿の 神である 憎むべき 者 モレク のために エルサレム の 東の 山に 高き 所を 築いた．
  3. 彼はまた 外國のすべての 妻たちのためにもそうしたので， 彼女たちはその 神¿に 香をたき， ¿牲をささげた．
  4. このように ソロモン の 心が 轉じて， イスラエル の 神， 主を 離れたため， 主は 彼を 怒られた． すなわち 主がかつて 二度彼に 現れ，
  5. この 事について 彼に， 他の 神¿に 從ってはならないと 命じられたのに， 彼は 主の 命じられたことを 守らなかったからである．
  1. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
  2. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
  3. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
  4. And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
  5. And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
  1. それゆえ， 主は ソロモン に 言われた， 「これがあなたの 本心であり， わたしが 命じた 契約と 定めとを 守らなかったので， わたしは 必ずあなたから 國を 裂き 離して， それをあなたの 家來に 與える．
  2. しかしあなたの 父 ダビデ のために， あなたの 世にはそれをしないが， あなたの 子の 手からそれを 裂き 離す．
  3. ただし， わたしは 國をことごとくは 裂き 離さず， わたしのしもべ ダビデ のために， またわたしが 選んだ エルサレム のために 一つの 部族をあなたの 子に 與えるであろう 」．
  4. こうして 主は エドム びと ハダデ を 起して， ソロモン の 敵とされた． 彼は エドム の 王家の 者であった．
  5. さきに ダビデ は エドム にいたが， 軍の 長 ヨアブ が 上っていって， 戰死した 者を 葬り， エドム の 男子をことごとく 打ち 殺した 時，
  1. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
  2. Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
  3. Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
  4. And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.
  5. For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
  1. （ヨアブ は イスラエル の 人¿と 共に 六か 月そこにとどまって， エドム の 男子をことごとく 斷った ）．
  2. ハダデ はその 父のしもべである 數人の エドム びとと 共に 逃げて エジプト へ 行こうとした． その 時 ハダデ はまだ 少年であった．
  3. 彼らが ミデアン を 立って パラン へ 行き， パラン から 人¿を 伴って エジプト へ 行き， エジプト の 王 パロ のところへ 行くと， パロ は 彼に 家を 與え， 食糧を 定め， かつ 土地を 與えた．
  4. ハダデ は 大いに パロ の 心にかなったので， パロ は 自分の 妻の 妹すなわち 王妃 タペネス の 妹を 妻として 彼に 與えた．
  5. タペネス の 妹は 彼に 男の 子 ゲヌバテ を 産んだので， タペネス はその 子を パロ の 家のうちで 乳離れさせた． ゲヌバテ は パロ の 家で， パロ の 子どもたちと 一緖にいた．
  1. (For six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
  2. That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad being yet a little child.
  3. And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
  4. And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
  5. And the sister of Tahpenes bare him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house: and Genubath was in Pharaoh's household among the sons of Pharaoh.
  1. さて ハダデ は エジプト で， ダビデ がその 先祖と 共に 眠ったことと， 軍の 長 ヨアブ が 死んだことを 聞いたので， ハダデ は パロ に 言った， 「わたしを 去らせて， 國へ 歸らせてください 」．
  2. パロ は 彼に 言った， 「わたしと 共にいて， なんの 不足があって 國へ 歸ることを 求めるのですか 」． 彼は 言った， 「ただ， わたしを 歸らせてください 」．
  3. 神はまた エリアダ の 子 レゾン を 起して ソロモン の 敵とされた． 彼はその 主人 ゾバ の 王 ハダデゼル のもとを 逃げ 去った 者であった．

  1. And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country.
  2. Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.
  3. And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:
  4. And he gathered men unto him, and became captain over a band, when David slew them of Zobah: and they went to Damascus, and dwelt therein, and reigned in Damascus.
  5. And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the mischief that Hadad did: and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
 
  여로보암의 대적(11:26-11:43)    
 
  1. ゼレダ の エフライム びと ネバテ の 子 ヤラベアム は ソロモン の 家來であったが， その 母の 名は ゼルヤ といって 寡婦であった． 彼もまたその 手をあげて 王に 敵した．
  2. 彼が 手をあげて， 王に 敵した 事情はこうである． ソロモン は ミロ を 築き， 父 ダビデ の 町の 破れ 口をふさいでいた．
  3. ヤラベアム は 非常に 手腕のある 人であったが， ソロモン はこの 若者がよく ¿くのを 見て， 彼に ヨセフ の 家のすべての 强制勞¿の 監督をさせた．
  4. そのころ， ヤラベアム が エルサレム を 出たとき， シロ びとである 預言者 アヒヤ が 道で 彼に 會った． アヒヤ は 新しい 着物を 着ていた． そして 彼らふたりだけが 野にいた．
  5. アヒヤ は 着ている 着物をつかんで， それを 十二切れに 裂き，
  1. And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.
  2. And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of David his father.
  3. And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
  4. And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:
  5. And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:
  1. ヤラベアム に 言った， 「あなたは 十切れを 取りなさい． イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 言われる， 『見よ， わたしは 國を ソロモン の 手から 裂き 離して， あなたに 十部族を 與えよう．
  2. （ただし 彼はわたしのしもべ ダビデ のために， またわたしが イスラエル のすべての 部族のうちから 選んだ 町 エルサレム のために， 一つの 部族をもつであろう ）．
  3. それは 彼がわたしを 捨てて， シドン びとの 女神 アシタロテ と， モアブ の 神 ケモシ と， アンモン の 人¿の 神 ミルコム を 拜み， 父 ダビデ のように， わたしの 道に 步んで， わたしの 目にかなう 事を 行い， わたしの 定めと， おきてを 守ることをしなかったからである．
  4. しかし， わたしは 國をことごとくは 彼の 手から 取らない． わたしが 選んだ， わたしのしもべ ダビデ が， わたしの 命令と 定めとを 守ったので， わたしは 彼のために ソロモン を 一生の 間， 君としよう．
  5. そして， わたしはその 子の 手から 國を 取って， その 十部族をあなたに 與える．
  1. And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
  2. (But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
  3. Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
  4. Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
  5. But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
  1. その 子には 一つの 部族を 與えて， わたしの 名を 置くために 選んだ 町 エルサレム で， わたしのしもべ ダビデ に， わたしの 前に 常に 一つのともしびを 保たせるであろう．
  2. わたしがあなたを 選び， あなたはすべて 心の 望むところを 治めて， イスラエル の 上に 王となるであろう．
  3. もし， あなたが， わたしの 命じるすべての 事を 聞いて， わたしの 道に 步み， わたしの 目にかなう 事を 行い， わたしのしもべ ダビデ がしたように， わたしの 定めと 戒めとを 守るならば， わたしはあなたと 共にいて， わたしが ダビデ のために 建てたように， あなたのために 堅固な 家を 建てて， イスラエル をあなたに 與えよう．
  4. わたしはこのために ダビデ の 子孫を 苦しめる． しかし 永久にではない 』」．
  5. ソロモン は ヤラベアム を 殺そうとしたが， ヤラベアム は 立って エジプト にのがれ， エジプト 王 シシャク のところへ 行って， ソロモン の 死ぬまで エジプト にいた．
  1. And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.
  2. And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
  3. And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
  4. And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.
  5. Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
  1. ソロモン のそのほかの 事績と， 彼がしたすべての 事およびその 知惠は， ソロモン の 事績の 書にしるされているではないか．
  2. ソロモン が エルサレム で イスラエル の 全地を 治めた 日は 四十年であった．
  3. ソロモン はその 先祖と 共に 眠って， 父 ダビデ の 町に 葬られ， その 子 レハベアム が 代って 王となった．
  1. And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
  2. And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.
  3. And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
