역대상 9:1-10:14

 포로 귀환 후 예루살렘에 거주하게 된 지파들과 귀환한 제사장, 레위인들, 그리고 사울의 족보가 기록되어 있다. 하나님 앞에 범죄한 사울은 블레셋과의 전투에서 패배함으로써 스스로 자살하는 비극적인 최후를 맞았다.
  
  포로 귀환자들(9:1-9:34)    
 
  1. このようにすべての イスラエル びとは 系圖によって 數えられた． これらは イスラエル の 列王紀にしるされている． ユダ はその 不信のゆえに バビロン に 捕囚となった．
  2. その 領地の 町¿に 最初に 住んだものは イスラエル びと， 祭司， レビ びとおよび 宮に 仕えるしもべたちであった．
  3. また エルサレム には ユダ の 子孫， ベニヤミン の 子孫および エフライム と マナセ の 子孫が 住んでいた．
  4. すなわち ユダ の 子 ペレヅ の 子孫のうちでは アミホデ の 子 ウタイ ． アミホデ は オムリ の 子， オムリ は イムリ の 子， イムリ は バニ の 子である．
  5. シロ びとのうちでは 長子 アサヤ とそのほかの 子たち．
  1. So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
  2. Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
  3. And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
  4. Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
  5. And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
  1. ゼラ の 子孫のうちでは ユエル とその 兄弟六百九十人．
  2. ベニヤミン の 子孫のうちでは ハセヌア の 子 ホダビヤ の 子である メシュラム の 子 サル ，
  3. エロハム の 子 イブニヤ ， ミクリ の 子である ウジ の 子 エラ および イブニヤ の 子 リウエル の 子である シパテヤ の 子 メシュラム ，
  4. ならびに 彼らの 兄弟たちで， その 系圖によれば 合わせて 九百五十六人． これらの 人¿は 皆その 氏族の 長であった．
  5. 祭司のうちでは エダヤ ， ヨアリブ ， ヤキン ，
  1. And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
  2. And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,
  3. And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephathiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
  4. And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chief of the fathers in the house of their fathers.
  5. And of the priests; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
  1. および ヒルキヤ の 子 アザリヤ ， ヒルキヤ は メシュラム の 子， メシュラム は ザドク の 子， ザドク は メラヨテ の 子， メラヨテ は アヒトブ の 子である． アザリヤ は 神の 宮のつかさである．
  2. また エロハム の 子 アダヤ ， エロハム は パシュル の 子， パシュル は マルキヤ の 子である． また アデエル の 子は マアセヤ ， アデエル は ヤゼラ の 子， ヤゼラ は メシュラム の 子， メシュラム は メシレモテ の 子， メシレモテ は インメル の 子である．
  3. そのほかに 彼らの 兄弟たちもあった． これらはその 氏族の 長で， 合わせて 一千七百六十人， みな 神の 宮の 務をするのに， はなはだ 力のある 人¿であった．
  4. レビ びとのうちでは ハシュブ の 子 シマヤ ， ハシュブ は アズリカム の 子， アズリカム は ハシャビヤ の 子で， これらは メラリ の 子孫である．
  5. また バクバッカル ， ヘレシ ， ガラル ， および アサフ の 子 ジクリ の 子である ミカ の 子 マッタニヤ ，
  1. And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
  2. And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
  3. And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
  4. And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
  5. And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
  1. ならびに エドトン の 子 ガラル の 子である シマヤ の 子 オバデヤ および エルカナ の 子である アサ の 子 ベレキヤ ， エルカナ は ネトパ びとの 村里に 住んだ 者である．
  2. 門を 守るものは シャルム ， アックブ ， タルモン ， アヒマン およびその 兄弟たちで， シャルム はその 長であった．
  3. 彼は 今日まで 東の 方にある 王の 門を 守っている． これらは レビ の 子孫で 營の 門を 守る 者である．
  4. コラ の 子 エビヤサフ の 子である コレ の 子 シャルム およびその 氏族の 兄弟たちなどの コラ びとは 幕屋のもろもろの 門を 守る 務をつかさどった． その 先祖たちは 主の 營をつかさどり， その 入口を 守る 者であった．
  5. エレアザル の 子 ピネハス が， むかし 彼らのつかさであった． 主は 彼とともにおられた．
  1. And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
  2. And the porters were, Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;
  3. Who hitherto waited in the king's gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
  4. And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry.
  5. And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
  1. メシレミヤ の 子 ゼカリヤ は 會見の 幕屋の 門を 守る 者であった．
  2. これらは 皆選ばれて 門を 守る 者で， 合わせて 二百十二人あった． 彼らはその 村¿で 系圖によって 數えられた 者で， ダビデ と 先見者 サムエル が 彼らを 職に 任じたのである．
  3. こうして 彼らとその 子孫は 監守人として， 主の 家である 幕屋の 家の 門をつかさどった．
  4. 門を 守る 者は 東西南北の 四方にいた．
  5. またその 村¿にいる 兄弟たちは 七日ごとに 代り， 來て 彼らを 助けた．
  1. And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
  3. So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
  4. In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
  5. And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
  1. 門を 守る 者の 長である 四人の レビ びとは 神の 家のもろもろの 室と 寶とをつかさどった．
  2. 彼らは 神の 家を 守る 身であるから， そのまわりに 宿った． そして 朝ごとにこれを 開くことをした．
  3. そのうちに 務の 器をつかさどる 者があった． 彼らはその 數を 調べて 携え 入り， またその 數を 調べて 携え 出した．
  4. またそのほかの 品， すべての 聖なる 器および 麥粉， ぶどう 酒， 油， 乳香， 香料をつかさどる 者があった．
  5. また 祭司のともがらのうちに 香料を 混ぜる 者があった．
  1. For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
  2. And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
  3. And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
  4. Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
  5. And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
  1. コラ びと シャルム の 長子で レビ びとのひとりである マタテヤ はせんべいを 造る 勤めをつかさどった．
  2. また コハテ びとの 子孫であるその 兄弟たちのうちに 供えの パン をつかさどって， 安息日ごとにこれを 整える 者どもがあった．
  3. レビ びとの 氏族の 長であるこれらの 者は 歌うたう 者であって， 宮のもろもろの 室に 住み， ほかの 務はしなかった． 彼らは 日夜自分の 務に 從ったからである．
  4. これらは レビ びとの 歷代の 氏族の 長であって， かしらたる 人¿であった． 彼らは エルサレム に 住んだ．
  1. And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
  2. And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
  3. And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
  4. These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
 
  사울의 족보와 죽음(9:35-10:14)    
 
  1. ギベオン の 父 エヒエル は ギベオン に 住んでいた． その 妻の 名は マアカ といった．
  2. 彼の 長子は アブドン ， 次は ツル ， キシ ， バアル ， ネル ， ナダブ ，
  3. ゲドル ， アヒオ ， ゼカリヤ ， ミクロテ である．
  4. ミクロテ は シメアム を 生んだ． 彼らもその 兄弟たちとともに エルサレム に 住んで， その 兄弟たちと 向かいあっていた．
  5. ネル は キシ を 生み， キシ は サウル を 生み， サウル は ヨナタン ， マルキシュア ， アビナダブ ， エシバアル を 生んだ．
  1. And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife's name was Maachah:
  2. And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab.
  3. And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
  4. And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
  5. And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
  1. ヨナタン の 子は メリバアル で， メリバアル は ミカ を 生んだ．
  2. ミカ の 子らは ピトン ， メレク ， タレア および アハズ である．
  3. アハズ は ヤラ を 生み， ヤラ は アレメテ ， アズマウテ および ジムリ を 生み， ジムリ は モザ を 生み，
  4. モザ は ビネア を 生んだ． ビネア の 子は レパヤ ， その 子は エレアサ ， その 子は アゼル である．
  5. アゼル に 六人の 男の 子があった． その 名は アズリカム ， ボケル ， イシマエル ， シャリヤ ， オバデヤ ， ハナン ． これらはみな アゼル の 子らであった．
  1. And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begat Micah.
  2. And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
  3. And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
  4. And Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
  5. And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
 
 
  1. さて ペリシテ びとは イスラエル と 戰ったが， イスラエル の 人¿が ペリシテ びとの 前から 逃げ， ギルボア 山で 殺されて 倒れたので，
  2. ペリシテ びとは サウル とその 子たちのあとを 追い， サウル の 子 ヨナタン ， アビナダブ および マルキシュア を 殺した．
  3. 戰いは 激しく サウル におし 迫り， 射手の 者どもがついに サウル を 見つけたので， 彼は 射手の 者どもに 傷を 負わされた．
  4. そこで サウル はその 武器を 執る 者に 言った， 「つるぎを 拔き， それをもってわたしを 刺せ． さもないと， これらの 割禮なき 者が 來て， わたしをはずかしめるであろう 」． しかしその 武器を 執る 者がいたく 恐れて 聞きいれなかったので， サウル はつるぎをとってその 上に 伏した．
  5. 武器を 執る 者は サウル の 死んだのを 見て， 自分もまたつるぎの 上に 伏して 死んだ．
  1. Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
  2. And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.
  3. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.
  4. Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
  5. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
  1. こうして サウル と 三人の 子らおよびその 家族は 皆ともに 死んだ．
  2. 谷にいた イスラエル の 人¿は 皆彼らの 逃げるのを 見， また サウル とその 子らの 死んだのを 見て， 町¿をすてて 逃げたので， ペリシテ びとが 來てそのうちに 住んだ．
  3. あくる 日 ペリシテ びとは 殺された 者から， はぎ 取るために 來て， サウル とその 子らの ギルボア 山に 倒れているのを 見，
  4. サウル をはいでその 首と， よろいかぶとを 取り， ペリシテ びとの 國の 四方に 人をつかわして， この 良き 知らせをその 偶像と 民に 告げさせた．
  5. そして サウル のよろいかぶとを 彼らの 神の 家に 置き， 首を ダゴン の 神殿にくぎづけにした．
  1. So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.
  2. And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
  3. And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
  4. And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
  5. And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
  1. しかし ヤベシ · ギレアデ の 人¿は 皆 ペリシテ びとが サウル にしたことを 聞いたので，
  2. 勇士たちが 皆立ち 上がり， サウル のからだとその 子らのからだをとって， これを ヤベシ に 持って 來て， ヤベシ のかしの 木の 下にその 骨を 葬り， 七日の 間， 斷食した．
  3. こうして サウル は 主にむかって 犯した 罪のために 死んだ． すなわち 彼は 主の 言葉を 守らず， また 口寄せに 問うことをして，
  4. 主に 問うことをしなかった． それで 主は 彼を 殺し， その 國を 移して エッサイ の 子 ダビデ に 與えられた．
  1. And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
  2. They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
  3. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
  4. And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
