- このように， あなたがたは キリスト と 共によみがえらされたのだから， 上にあるものを 求めなさい． そこでは キリスト が 神の 右に 座しておられるのである．
- あなたがたは 上にあるものを 思うべきであって， 地上のものに 心を 引かれてはならない．
- あなたがたはすでに 死んだものであって， あなたがたのいのちは， キリスト と 共に 神のうちに 隱されているのである．
- わたしたちのいのちなる キリスト が 現れる 時には， あなたがたも， キリスト と 共に 榮光のうちに 現れるであろう．
- だから， 地上の 肢體， すなわち， 不品行， 汚れ， 情欲， 惡欲， また ·欲を 殺してしまいなさい． ·欲は 偶像禮拜にほかならない．

- If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
- Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
- When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
- Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

- これらのことのために， 神の 怒りが 下るのである．
- あなたがたも， 以前これらのうちに 日を 過ごしていた 時には， これらのことをして 步いていた．
- しかし 今は， これらいっさいのことを 捨て， 怒り， 憤り， 惡意， そしり， 口から 出る 恥ずべき 言葉を， 捨ててしまいなさい．
- 互にうそを 言ってはならない． あなたがたは， 古き 人をその 行いと 一緖に 脫ぎ 捨て，
- 造り 主のかたちに 從って 新しくされ， 眞の 知識に 至る 新しき 人を 着たのである．

- For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
- In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
- But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
- And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

- そこには， もはや ギリシヤ 人と ユダヤ 人， 割禮と 無割禮， 未開の 人， スクテヤ 人， 奴隷， 自由人の 差別はない． キリスト がすべてであり， すべてのもののうちにいますのである．
- だから， あなたがたは， 神に 選ばれた 者， 聖なる， 愛されている 者であるから， あわれみの 心， 慈愛， 謙そん， 柔和， 寬容を 身に 着けなさい．
- 互に 忍びあい， もし 互に 責むべきことがあれば， ゆるし 合いなさい． 主もあなたがたをゆるして 下さったのだから， そのように， あなたがたもゆるし 合いなさい．
- これらいっさいのものの 上に， 愛を 加えなさい． 愛は， すべてを 完全に 結ぶ 帶である．
- キリスト の 平和が， あなたがたの 心を 支配するようにしなさい． あなたがたが 召されて 一體となったのは， このためでもある． いつも 感謝していなさい．

- Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
- And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

- キリスト の 言葉を， あなたがたのうちに 豊かに 宿らせなさい． そして， 知惠をつくして 互に 敎えまた 訓戒し， 詩とさんびと 靈の 歌とによって， 感謝して 心から 神をほめたたえなさい．
- そして， あなたのすることはすべて， 言葉によるとわざによるとを 問わず， いっさい 主 イエス の 名によってなし， 彼によって 父なる 神に 感謝しなさい．

- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
