- あなたの 友， あなたの 父の 友を 捨てるな， あなたが 惱みにあう 日には 兄弟の 家に 行くな， 近い 隣り 人は 遠くにいる 兄弟にまさる．
- わが 子よ， 知惠を 得て， わたしの 心を 喜ばせよ， そうすればわたしをそしる 者に 答えることができる．
- 賢い 者は 災を 見て 自ら 避け， 思慮のない 者は 進んでいって， 罰をうける．
- 人のために 保證する 者からは， まずその 着物をとれ， 他人のために 保證をする 者をば 抵當に 取れ．
- 朝はやく 起きて 大聲にその 隣り 人を 祝すれば， かえってのろいと 見なされよう．
